Mark Levin joined “Fox & Friends Weekend” Sunday to discuss President Donald Trump’s allegations of wiretapping of Trump Tower by the Obama administration.
“This is not about President Trump’s tweeting; this is about the Obama administration spying.
“The issue isn’t whether the Obama administration spied on the Trump campaign or transition of surrogates; the issue is the extent of it.
“Donald Trump is the victim. His campaign is the victim. His transition team is the victim. His surrogates are the victim.
“I will tell you this, [Obama] is more involved than he says; it’s his executive branch.”

Conservative talker Laura Ingraham called the ongoing Russia-President Donald Trump collusion allegations a “typical Washington feeding frenzy based on no evidence,” adding that the whole thing is “feverishly overblown” and “tenuous.”
Forgive me for not wanting to hear a peep from these Obama toadies. So far, most of Trump’s missteps have been a result of incompetence, not malfeasance. Besides, I guarantee the first time Trump pulls something truly inappropriate with the press, he’ll use Obama’s behavior as a cover. Until then, I think I’ll continue ignoring Rhodes — and I suggest you do the same. If Rhodes really cared about limiting a president’s power, he wouldn’t wear his previous job title so proudly.
It is not unfounded that former President Obama would wire tap President Trump during the election process. This is because he has done this before. Here is a list of individuals who were wire tapped by the Obama Administration.
As if proof were needed at the time of an accusation for a media that has put Trump on trial for the last 6-8 months based on innuendo about Trump campaign ties to Russia. As pointed out repeatedly, there is zero proof in the public record of such media and Democrat accusations, and no proof was demanded by the media.
The White House is placing a substantial bet on what Congress will uncover. Don’t expect those cards to be dealt swiftly because such investigations take time. The Obama administration was highly adept at stalling investigations until the Democratic media could pronounce them “old news” and ignore the outcome.
We spend a lot of our time correcting misreporting, slopping reporting, and reporting presented as objective when it clearly is not.

Forget the usual smokescreen of hyper-partisan blather from Chuck Schumer on “Meet the Press” or the myriad calls for Trump’s head from the usual press suspects and consider the situation: Congressional committees, the FBI, not to mention numerous avid media organizations and who knows who else (NSA? CIA? ASPCA?) have been investigating putative Trump-Russia collusion for some time now and come up with… exactly nothing.
To judge by their scattershot approach, the conspirators are fishing for a bombshell. The fallback goal is to inflict death by a thousand cuts.
Was it coincidence or an indication of things to come?
No evidence is found — but the wiretaps continued, ostensibly for national security reasons, Andrew McCarthy at National Review later notes.
Can president “order” a wiretap on citizens? Well, he can ask for a FISA [foreign intelligence surveillance] court to wiretap citizens, which is what some reports say he did on Trump and his aides. So is Rhodes purposely lying here to smear Trump?
Bill and Hillary Clinton received large sums of money directly and indirectly from Russian officials while Hillary Clinton was Secretary of State. Bill Clinton was paid a cool $500,000 (well above his normal fee) for a speech in Moscow in 2010. Who footed the bill? An investment firm in Moscow called Renaissance Capital, which boasts deep ties to Russian intelligence. The Clinton Foundation itself took money from Russian officials and Putin-connected oligarchs.
A couple of the more prominent conservative pundits in the media are suggesting that former President Obama may be behind the classified leaks coming out of the government surrounding the Russian connections with the Trump campaign.
A White House spokeswoman said Friday that Vice President Mike Pence ‘did everything to the letter of the law’ after public records revealed that he used a private email account to conduct public business as Indiana’s governor.
It appears irony is not lost on Hillary Clinton, as a photograph of her emerged on Friday reading a newspaper headlined with Mike Pence’s use of a personal email to conduct government business.
