SABO: The Right-Wing Gets Its Own Street Artist

Glenn talks to rebel artist SABO (Interesting to see SABO is black)

SABO made headlines again last week with his Gwyneth Paltrow “Obama Drone” poster.

He’s baaaaaaaack!!

2014_10 17 Clinton's Flying Monkey by SABO

From his web-site:

“Bush the Younger was elected President and the claws came out in Hollywood. I lost my friends along with a great deal of peace. It was not a good time to be a Republican in Hollywood. There was no place I could go where I wasn’t punched in the face by some sort of art defining who I was for being a Republican. Evil, Bigotted, Homophobic, Out of Touch, Rich, Greedy, on and on. And then I snapped. Why was the Left allowed to define me and where are the dissenting voices from the Right setting the record straight? Creatively speaking, no one.

“I believe the Right has a great message, sadly the only people telling it are those on the Left and they do a damn fine job making us look like ass holes and what do Republicans do about it, NOT A DAMN THING!!! Fuck it! I guess it’s just going to have to be me, I thought. My aim as an artist is to be as dirty, ground level, and mean as any Liberal artist out there, more so if I can. Use their tactics, their methods, appeal to their audience, the young, urban , street urchins with a message they never hear in a style they own. My name is SABO, I’m an UNSAVORYAGENT.”

He isn’t kidding about going “dirty, ground level, and mean.”  It’s not my style, but it’s also not like he started it.  Tampon earrings, anyone?

Obama Drone in Hollywood

2014_10 09 Paltrow Obama drone

Here’s what TMZ wrote:

The idiocy of Hollywood was in full bloom Thursday night when Gwyneth Paltrow turned an already-embarrassing Hollywood fundraiser into “The Dating Game.”

Paltrow — who hosted the event at her Brentwood home — gushed as she introduced President Obama, “You’re so handsome that I can’t speak properly.”

She then showed utter ignorance about, and contempt for, the Constitution and separation of powers — the basic tenets of our government — by saying, “It would be wonderful if we were able to give this man all of the power that he needs to pass the things that he needs to pass.”

It’s the latest example of how demeaning it has become for Presidents to act like circus animals — performing for crowds that will feed them … in this case, feed them with money to line political coffers.

It’s revolting that celebrities and other rich people feel such a need for self-importance — contributing money but ONLY if they can have their picture taken with the president and tell their friends they had dinner with him. If they’re so committed to him, just send him a check and let him stay in Washington and do his job.

Fact is … it has little to do with Obama. It’s about how the celebrity circus has sullied the Presidency of the United States.

As Iowahawk put it, “When even TMZ is embarrassed by a display of ‘Hollywood idiocy’, we’ve hit the Final Frontier of idiocy.”  Indeed.

In a particularly dim-witted remark, Paltrow said that, as a working mom, it is especially important to her that Obama be allowed to close the [alleged, mythical, often debunked] “wage gap.”

Straight Talk About The Wage Gap [2:59]

One can totes see how a mega-millionaire hosting a glitterati fund-raiser in her $10 million American estate would really NEED Obama’s help to get her fair share. (Tickets to the affair started at $1,000.)

I’m thinking Paltrow probably has some staff keeping those 8 bathrooms all spic and span and somehow I just have the teensiest weensiest bit of doubt that she pays the toilet scrubber the same as she pays the chef, the chauffeur or the gardener. I am also a tad skeptical that her staff’s minimum wage is $15 per hour or that she includes full health and dental in her employee packages. But that’s just me. Maybe the staff at her London home gets a better deal, since THAT mansion is not in stinky old racist, backwards, imperialistic, Obama-should-be-king-of America.

When Even TMZ is Embarrassed by the Presidency, How Much is Left to Salvage?

obama_gatsby1-620x412
As Pistol Pete posted earlier today, some unusually slavish behavior happened at last night’s fundraiser at Gwyneth Paltrow’s estate in Brentwood, California. This event was so fawning that even the Hollywood smut merchant TMZ has begun to bemoan that the once-respectable Office of the President of the United States has become seriously damaged.

Gwyneth Paltrow wins today’s Flapping Piehole of Inanity Award

Some actors are intelligent, thoughtful and well-read enough to go off-script without making us all dumber for having listened to them. Gwyneth Paltrow is not one of them. Dean Norris on the other hand … bwahahahaha.

  • Tried to feel bad for Gwyneth Paltrow, almost got a headache.
  • BREAKING: Gwyneth Paltrow is an out-of-touch fruit loop. Oh wait, everybody already knows that.

The OTHER Noah movie

Noah–And the Last Days by Ray Comfort – Full Version [30:06]

Noah—And the Last Days produced by filmmaker Ray Comfort

This isn’t the Noah movie coming to theaters and starring Russell Crowe.

Comfort says that he and Crowe have two things in common: “We were both born in New Zealand, and neither of us can pronounce ark correctly (we skip the r). But the similarities end there.”

Comfort explains why Hollywood’s version may be bigger but believes his version is better.

“Hollywood’s is listed as ‘fantasy,'” Comfort states, “while ours is based on the truth. Theirs is entertainment that will cost you. Ours is life-changing and will be freely available on YouTube.”

I just finished watching it. It’s good!

About the Noah feature film with Russell Crowe

Mar 20, 2014: The Vatican is denying reports it agreed to a meeting between Pope Francis and actor Russell Crowe, who stars in the new movie, “Noah.” Carter Evans reports on the film and how some are concerned the story strayed a bit too much from the source.

Crowe’s attempt to lasso Pope Francis SICKENS me. Crowe tweeted Francis like they were best buds, then tweeted over and over about how he’d tweeted the pope. Then, Crowe went to one of the pope’s weekly public audiences and played that up to the press.

Was Francis expected to swoon like a certain POTUS at the attention and physical nearness of a Hollywood Celeb? Ooh Ahh?

Uh. No. Francis didn’t play along. See that pope? See that bad, bad pope? Spank that bad pope with a newspaper and many, many tweets, LYING about how he rudely canceled his meeting with Crowe.

Uh. No. There was no meeting on the pope’s schedule. A meeting was never talked about. A meeting was never planned. Ergo, a meeting could not be canceled.

Russell Crowe and company better watch their backsides. Pants on fire is a real thing for deceivers who refuse to repent.

Left-wing hypocrisy: The child predator edition

As far as I can tell, there is only ONE real sin in the Leftie moral code … not being a Leftie. As long as you support abortion, bigger and bigger government, and keep shoveling big bucks into Democrat campaign coffers, the Democrat Media Machine will dismiss your silly little foibles with a wave of the hand and a cutesy excuse like “it wasn’t rape rape.”

Remember how they treated Duck Dynasty’s Phil Robertson for saying he believes the Bible teachings about sin? Check out two of the disgusting Hollyweird low-lifes they still SUPPORT …

Another narcissistic fool shoots off his mouth

Kanye West is a fool

After reading up on how inflated the Tom Cruise alleged quote was, I was skeptical when I heard Kanye West had likened performing on stage to going to war. So I googled and oh my goodness.

You know … Tom Cruise did NOT say what they claimed he said about movie making being akin to military service in a war zone. I read the transcript. He was being deposed by a hostile lawyer for a lawsuit and the lawyer deliberately pushed him into saying the bit that was then released to the public specifically to make Cruise look like an idiot. But in context, Cruise actually said the opposite of what they claimed. In fact, he scoffed at the very idea that making a movie was anything like serving in the military.

What Kanye West said though … this is like the opposite of the Cruise thing. “Performing is like going to war” doesn’t quite do justice to the narcissistic absurdity of all that Kanye West actually said. The man’s #1 career goal has been to get paid big bucks to have folks pay attention to him and he’s actually got the gall to bitch about paparazzi and public scrutiny. I’m sorry. What part of “Look at me! Look at me!” did you not understand, Kanye?

Plus, gee golly whiz, he thinks the struggles of performing are, “Wow, this is like being a police officer or something, in war or something.” Riiiiiiiiiiiiiiight. Cuz putting one’s life on the line to protect and defend for civil servant’s wages is soooooooooooooo like prancing around on stage for millions of dollars. NOT.

Turns out Tom Cruise is not THAT big of a jerk

So … it turns out Tom Cruise did NOT say making a movie was like fighting in Afghanistan. He said being separated from his daughter while on a distant movie shoot was like being deployed. Jake Tapper revealed that somebody torpedoed Tom Cruise by quoting him totally out of context.

Cruise Suri Holmes

Here’s how the deposition actually reads:

  • “Now your counsel has publicly equated your absence from Suri for these extended periods of time as being analogous to someone fighting in Afghanistan,” opposing counsel asks him. “Are you aware of that?”
  • “I didn’t hear the Afghanistan,” Cruise replies. “That’s what it feels like and certainly on this last movie it was brutal. It was brutal.”
  • “Do you believe that the situations are the same?” Cruise is asked.
  • Oh come on,” Cruise says, “you know, we’re making a movie.”

His remarks about how difficult it was to be separated from his daughter were related to his defamation lawsuit against Life & Style and In Touch magazines who did cover stories in 2012 claiming he had “abandoned” his daughter, Suri.

According to Cruise, his Catholic ex-wife and Suri’s mom, Katie Holmes, took the girl away to protect her from Cruises’ obsessive participation in Scientology.
