Planned Parenthood’s dangerous advice

Planned Parenthood receives million of dollars every year from taxpayers to finance it’s sex education programs.  But what they are teaching is promiscuity and perversion via sexually explicit advertising campaigns and seminars, including a series of metro ads reading, “We’re your one-night stand,” “We’re your friend with benefits,” etc., and a seminar for teenagers on “how a BDSM relationship is successfully navigated between sexual partners.”  Live Action sent an actress undercover and taped Planned Parenthood counselors promoting violent sex acts to a girl they believed was only 15.

Fetal models save lives

ABORTION Pro-Life fetus model give away enrages Pro-Aborts

The dolls shown are machine molded rubber (solid and soft). These start at $1.50 each and go down to as little as 35¢ each for bulk purchases.

There is a cheaper option that is machine molded plastic (hollow and hard). These start at 75¢ each and go down to as little as 29¢ each for bulk purchases.

Both models are available in pink and brown. Both come with information cards to give with the models that detail fetal development. Spanish cards are also available. By 12 weeks, babies the size of the models have beating hearts and detectable brain waves. They can kick, swim and even suck their little thumbs.

Customer comments from sales site @ http://www.heritagehouse76.com/details.aspx?prod_id=190

  • I use these precious models on the street to show how real and precious babies are in the womb. I placed one of these in the hand of a heckler who came to tell me that “its just a bunch of cells”. She held the baby dearly and then looked at me with tears in her eyes and told me her grandchild was aborted at this age.
  • We have given these fetal models out at our County Fair table and adults as well as children love picking them up and looking at them. It is such a visual for educating everyone how well we are developed at 10 – 12 weeks.
  • Children especially love the models. For them, a representation of a baby is not a political affront, it is just a baby.
  • These models are perfect for showing the otherwise skeptical pregnant mom or male that believes a baby is a blob of tissue.
  • We use these at all our Right to Life events, fairbooths, dinners, youth days at schools. Great way to show the truth – ‘it’s a baby’. Great start to get the conversation going on the pro-life subject. The card with information is just right, basic enough for youth, comprehensive enough and education for the adults as well.
  • We gave these little ones out at the Respect Life tent at the Indiana State Fair and so many of the children wanted one of them. They did not know that this is what an unborn child looks like. This is a wonderful, affordable tool.
  • I use these babies when I give my talks to the classrooms about the development of babies in the womb. I have done from grade 3 to college. The students are astounded by them when you ask them to compare them to their hands with the additional info of what the baby can do at this stage. I give them to all the kids to keep.

Making abortion LEGAL does not make it SAFE

2014_04 16 Illegal abortionist sends another patient to ER

When Texas passed a law requiring abortionists to maintain privileges at a hospital, the Pro-Aborts fought to overturn it in the courts.

They talk about “caring” for women, but for those who actually perform the grisly work of slicing and dicing unborn human beings to death, the bottom line is MONEY. And the Texas law is putting the worst of the butchers out of business.

Texas mandated abortionists maintain privileges at a hospital within 30 miles of their clinics for two reasons.

One, physicians cannot admit without privileges, which means an abortionist without privileges calls 911 and sends his damaged patients off with paramedics to be treated by ER physicians who have no idea what procedures, drugs or pre-existing conditions the patients have. When a woman is comatose and bleeding to death, minutes count and speed and continuity of emergency hospital care are critical.

Two, hospitals are insured and insurance means liability suits, so hospitals don’t extend or maintain privileges to doctors who maim and kill their patients.  In Texas alone, abortionists put nearly 1,000 women into hospitals EVERY SINGLE YEAR. Opposition to the Texas hospital privileges law is clearly about profit, not safety.

Let’s look at just ONE Texas abortionist whose grisly livelihood is threatened by the Texas hospital privileges law.

His name is Jasbir Ahluwalia, an OB who was disciplined by the Medical Board and lost his hospital privileges after messing up two high-risk pregnancies way back in 1996. This is the kind of doctor who typically goes into doing abortions … incompetent, sloppy, and often suffering from various addictions.

On March 31, 2014, University General Hospital revoked his privileges, which made him ineligible to perform abortions under the Texas law.

DID HE CARE? Of course not. He continued to do abortions and JUST TWO WEEKS LATER sent yet another one of his victims racing off to an ER where he had no privileges.

April 16, 2014: Dallas TX Abortion Clinic Transports Woman to Hospital Where Abortionist Has No Privileges

Ahluwalia got off scot-free. He had filed a lawsuit against University General Hospital. The day after the video above, a judge ordered Ahluwalia’s privileges at University General Hospital be reinstated pending the outcome of his lawsuit.

The kicker to all this?  That ambulance in the video went to BAYLOR. Ahluwalia doesn’t have privileges at Baylor.

They say abortion is like having a tooth pulled, but when was the last time you heard of paramedics rushing anyone out of a dentist’s office?

Show me the money, honey!

Today it is the unborn

Nurse Marlene Costa worked in New York abortion clinic and says it was all about making money.

The women did receive counseling, if you could call it that..I was one of the so-called counselors. There was absolutely no factual information given on fetal development, not a word spoken about the risks, & the counseling was completely biased..They were told that the fetus was a ‘blob of tissue,’ not to feel guilty about it, not to beat themselves up about it and [were] comforted if they had apprehension about it.

Costa was pressured by the abortion clinic administration to convince women to have abortions:

There was definite pressure to sell abortions…I was told ‘get the cash & get them out.’ in fact, my coworkers made fun of me for staying ‘too long’ with the patients, giving comfort..They prided themselves on how much money they raked in each Saturday morning.

Costa never witnessed abortion procedures or saw the remains of aborted babies. She worked strictly with the women. However, despite the fact that she was insulated from the worst aspects of the clinic’s work, she quickly became disillusioned with the clinic’s focus on making money at the expense of vulnerable women:

I still believed in the right to abort at that time..I just began to get sick at the heartlessness & callous atmosphere. It was all about the money.

The abortionist who worked at the clinic also provided other gynecological services to women. Costa was present for some of the doctors’ interactions with patients and witnessed something disturbing:

I assisted him during exams of women and was repulsed b/c I actually witnessed him ‘coming on’ to the attractive patients while examining them..it was disgusting.

Random Saturday Stuff

Things I picked up at Facebook or got sent in email.  Usually, I’d add these to Pete’s post, but he doesn’t usually put anything up on Saturday.

This is a VERY interesting article about a Pro-Life program that really works. I think the author’s points about how to dialogue successfully with left-wingers can be applied successfully to any political issue and are worth studying.

Ten year old Willie Myrick was kidnapped from his front yard in Atlanta. The kidnapper told him, “I don’t want to hear a word from you.”

That’s when Myrick began to sing a gospel song called “Every Praise.” The kidnapper started cursing and repeatedly told Myrick to shut up, but he wouldn’t. He sang the song for about three hours until the kidnapper let him out of the car. The little boy ran to a nearby home and asked the resident to call his guardian.

Myrick recently got to meet “Every Praise” gospel singer Hezekiah Walker, and they sang the song together. Police don’t have any leads on the suspect, but are hoping a sketch they released will generate tips.

Vague PA tweets

A Portland alternative newspaper called The Willamette Week hosted Republican primary candidates for U.S. Senate to, in the paper’s words, “explore questions that we think matter most to our readers.”

As one of the other candidates was answering a question, candidate Mark Callahan noticed a reporter writing “blah blah blah blah blah” on his notepad.

He confronted the man, wanting to know why he was being so disrespectful. The moderator broke in, saying he wanted to move on to another question and advised CALLAHAN to answer respectfully.

Callahan shot back: “You have to give respect in order to get respect. Right now on that side of the table, you’re not giving very much respect to the five of us and our time here.”

Their verbal tussle continued briefly, then Callahan was asked whether he believed climate change is a myth or reality.

“Myth,” he fired back.

Jaquiss, the blah-blah-blah reporter, sarcastically asked, “Where are you on the Easter bunny?”

“Are these really the questions I was called here to answer?” demanded Callahan. “I called you out for putting ‘blah blah blah blah blah’ on your notepad and now you’re asking me questions like this? Really? Are we talking about this now?”

The committee leader suggested Callahan leave and Callahan laughed at him.

Someone said, “There’s the door,” and Callahan left.

The Willamette Week posted a one-hour-42-minute video of the entire candidate-endorsement meeting online. The 2 minute volatile exchange with Callahan went viral, which is helping Callahan’s campaign.

Oregon’s primary election is May 20.

Abortion: It’s not about helping women

ABORTION and capital punishment

A civil case called DHMH v. Glenn has been heard in court and a decision is expected in the next few weeks.

Maryland Department of Health and Mental Hygiene has sued Andrew Glenn, Director of the Maryland Coalition for Life, for legally requesting access to open records related to abortion providers under Maryland’s Public Records Law.

DHMH claims it would be a Very Bad Thing if Marylanders got to learn stuff about abortion clinics that they have a total right to learn about any other medical provider.  You know, cuz Pro-Lifers are H8ters.  Or something.

Glenn’s lawyer noted that DHMH “could not cite a single instance in which anybody was subjected to harm by somebody who gained information through a public records request.”

The State conceded that it had no reason to believe that Glenn posed any threat whatsoever.

The real problem here is that pro-life watchdogs have used the open access law to track down abortion scofflaws and agitate to get them shut down.

The real issue here is the big bucks the abortion industry pumps into Democrat coffers, resulting in an unprecedented level of political protection for abortionists who maim and kill on a regular basis.

Who needs coat hangers?

You have to listen to these 911 calls from Preterm abortion clinic to believe them. Each time, the person calling in has little information about the patient and is very, very reluctant to mention the word “abortion” which … you know … might MATTER to the responders.

June 26, 2010: A 26-year old woman suffered uncontrolled hemorrhaging AND failed to come out of anesthesia.

Preterm cherishes women and children

March 31, 2012: This “caring” clinic performed a high risk abortion on a 300 pound woman, despite being unequipped to handle emergencies AND having no ELEVATOR. Emergency responders had to wait for additional responders to arrive to help them carry the woman down the stairs. This time, an activist filed a complaint with the Ohio Medical Board, but no disciplinary action was ever taken.

March 21, 2014: This time Preterm managed to kill both mother and child. Right at the start of this call, the woman garbles the rather important fact that the patient is NOT BREATHING.

Meanwhile, another woman has died taking RU-486 (the Morning After pill). One of the deadly complications of this chemical abortion is toxic shock. Remember when the media went nuts warning females about how dangerous tampons were? Google “tampons toxic shock syndrome” and you’ll see lots of “rare” in the hits. Now google “Planned Parenthood RU-486.” Go ahead. Try it.
