Understanding Obama vs. The Little Sisters

“You don’t have to assassinate that guy yourself. You just have to contract a hit man to do it for you.”

That’s the whole thing in a nutshell. Obama will graciously allow nuns who care for poor elderly folks to not provide birth control and abortion pills in their health insurance plan, provided they require another health insurance plan to do it for them. Riiiight. Cuz paying someone else to do something is morally SO different from doing it yourself. NOT.

This is what Progressives call “religious freedom.” I saw that kind of “freedom” when I visited Budapest in 1965 and Moscow in 1972.

Below is a good, clear explanation to assist you in getting up to speed on this important issue.

Little Sisters of the Poor Case: The Administration’s Position Goes from the Absurd to the Surreal

By Matt Bowman – January 6, 2014

The Obama administration told the Supreme Court that nuns running an elder-care facility should have to provide “free” abortion drugs through their health-insurance plan. Witness your tax dollars at work.

There is hope, though, that your hard-earned pay won’t be wasted on absurdities like this much longer. Religious freedom is so embedded in American law that Obamacare has suffered court orders against its mandate in 53 of 60 rulings so far.

Yet despite having many opportunities to promote abortion without involving people of faith, the Obama administration refuses to cut its losses. Instead it has doubled down ferociously – insisting on coercing even nuns to participate in its anti-life, anti-religious agenda.

The Left’s War on Children

December 27, 2013: A Houston federal court issued an injunction against the Obama Democrat HHS Mandate requiring employers to provide employees with abortion-causing drugs and devices. The ruling said the HHS Mandate – which Democrats drafted and Obama vigorously supports – violates federal civil rights laws. Altogether there are 89 lawsuits challenging the HHS Mandate. Twelve of the cases involving non-profit groups have been decided; nine have resulted in injunctions against the HHS Mandate.

1994: Mother Teresa of Calcutta at the National Prayer Breakfast

The National Prayer Breakfast is a yearly event held in Washington, D.C., on the first Thursday of February each year. It is hosted by members of Congress and typically has two special guest speakers: the President of the United States and a guest whose identity is kept confidential until that morning. In 1994, that president was the pro-abortion Democrat, Bill Clinton, and the guest was the pro-life Catholic, Mother Teresa of Calcutta.

Text below begins at about 14:00.

“[I]f we accept that a mother can kill even her own child, how can we tell other people not to kill one another?”

“How do we persuade a woman not to have an abortion? As always, we must persuade her with love and we remind ourselves that love means to be willing to give until it hurts. Jesus gave even His life to love us. So, the mother who is thinking of abortion, should be helped to love, that is, to give until it hurts her plans, her free time, to respect the life of her child.

“For the child is the greatest gift of God to the family because it has been created to love and to be loved. The father of that child, whoever he is, must also give until it hurts. By abortion, the mother does not learn to love, but kills even her own child to solve her problems. And, by abortion, the father is told that he does not have to take any responsibility at all for the child he has brought into the world. That father is likely to put other women into the same trouble — so abortion just leads to more abortion.

“Any country that accepts abortion is not teaching its people to love one another, but to use any violence to get what they want. This is why the greatest destroyer of love and peace is abortion.”

Have yourself a Merry Pro-Life Christmas!

A record number of surgical abortion clinics — 87 — closed in 2013. The total number of surgical abortion clinics left in the U.S. is now 582. This represents an impressive 12% net decrease in surgical abortion clinics in 2013 alone, and a 73% drop from a high in 1991 of 2,176.

NAACP sues Conservatives of Color

The NAACP opposes racial profiling … with one notable exception. They can’t abide Conservatives of Color. Last week, they sued a Black Pro-Life leader for using “NAACP: National Association for the Abortion of Colored People” in his campaign to stop the genocide of America’s Black population. The trial lasted three days; the judge has announced he will not be issuing a ruling until late next January.

National Assoc for Abortion of Colored People

The NAACP claims they support “choice”, not abortion. But they’ve been in bed with Planned Parenthood for years. Margaret Sanger, founder of Planned Parenthood, wrote:

“We should hire three or four colored ministers, preferably with social-service backgrounds, and with engaging personalities. The most successful educational approach to the Negro is through a religious appeal. We don’t want the word to go out that we want to exterminate the Negro population, and the minister is the man who can straighten out that idea if it ever occurs to any of their more rebellious members.”

Today, the most dangerous place in the world for a person of color is in the womb.

Countdown to Extinction [1:31]

Planned Parenthood claims that only 3% of their services are abortions. But this is one of those Big Lie Statistics. What they did was count every time a woman got birth control from them as a unique instance of “service.” IOW, if an individual woman came in for the prescription, then came back 12 times to pick up her monthly pills, PP counted her as 13 “services” in a year. But if a woman came in and got an abortion, she counted as one.

The fact of the matter is that 51% of Planned Parenthood’s yearly clinic income comes from abortion. That’s HALF, not 3%. Their own 2010 business report says:

  • 329,445 pregnant women had abortions at Planned Parenthood;
  •    31,098 pregnant women got prenatal care at Planned Parenthood;
  •          841 pregnant women were referred to adoption agencies by Planned Parenthood.

Forty percent of all reported abortions in the United States were done at a Planned Parenthood clinic, making it by far the largest abortion provider in America. Now look at how dis-proportionate is the color of those “no choice for life” babies (2010):

  • 72% of the U.S. population was White.
    • 36.8% of aborted babies were White.
  • 15% of the U.S. population was Hispanic.
    • 21.0% of aborted babies were Hispanic.
  • 13% of the U.S. population was Black.
    • 35.7% of aborted babies were Black.

Margaret Sanger must be so proud!

The dirty secrets behind “safe, legal and rare”

LIME 5 was published in April 1996. I read it years ago and had thought it was out of print. I just stumbled on this at WND and wanted to let you know it is still available. It is based on original research done by Crutcher and his team that exposes the filthy secrets inside the politically-protected abortion industry.

Keep in mind that this was based on research done prior to 1996. If you’d read this, the only thing that would have surprised you about Dr. Gosnell’s horror show is that it finally got exposed and he actually got convicted and sent to prison.

2013_12 LIME 5 still available

If you don’t need your consciousness raised about this issue, you might want to give this book a pass. I had to skip some stuff, because it was so difficult. And I’ve never gotten some of the images out of my mind. E.g., one abortion survivor told Crutcher how the abortionist who sucked her tiny child out of her womb did so while eating a tuna fish sandwich.

However, if you’ve got someone in your life who thinks Gosnell was an aberration and Democrats are pro-woman, this might be just what you need to kill the kool-aid.

Mother Teresa spoke for God. Belgium is standing up tall for Satan.

An incredible story about Mother Teresa [4:05]

December 12, 2013: The Belgian Senate voted 50-17 today IN FAVOR of a bill that would allow EUTHANASIA FOR CHILDREN. The bill now goes to the House of Representatives for final approval before being sent to the King to be signed into law.

Most political observers are predicting the passage of the bill.

In 2002, Belgium legalized euthanasia on request for those 18 and over. Since then, the number of deaths by euthanasia has sky-rocketed and people in hospitals are increasingly being killed without their consent or the consent of their families.

Studies have demonstrated that:

  • 32% of euthanasia deaths in the Flemish region of Belgium had been done without an explicit request;
  • 45% of euthanasia deaths involving nurses in Belgium were without a specific request;
  • 47.2% of euthanasia deaths in Belgium were not officially reported (which is required by the law);
  • and elderly Belgians are becoming increasingly afraid of being hospitalized.

Keep it or kill it? What about adoption?!

I do NOT understand a woman who is hugely and obviously pregnant deciding to have her fully-formed, healthy, unborn baby murdered. I really don’t. Please watch this to the end. It’s only 3 minutes.
