EDUCATION: The Education Department has approved a plan to cut federal loans to college programs that result in low-earning jobs. It makes sense to me. If taxpayers are expected to foot the bill for these loans, then people who will become taxpayers should be the ones who get them.

In other news, the DOE has codified Title IX to exclude biological males.

FRAUD: The Justice Department has charged 17 people of fraudulently collecting more than $1.3 million in Social Security benefits. One of them, a Chicago woman, stuffed her dead mother in a freezer for two years, so she could go on using the woman’s Social Security benefits.

IRAN: Nick Freitas writes, “Modern political discourse feels a lot like warning someone about a lion that is going to eat them, only to have them reply ‘Oh so you have a problem with lions?’ ‘Do lions “scare” you because they’re different?’ ‘Are you threatened by the lion because it doesn’t look like you?’

“Then the lion eats them and you get blamed for not doing enough to prevent the kind of society where lions eat people.”

MEDIA: The Left Stream Media has been trying to promote its “America is RAAAcist” agenda with the story of Tasia Fortune (29), a Black woman who was murdered in Jackson, Mississippi. NBC reported, “Fortune was Black, and the discovery of her hanging body stoked fear because the scene recalled actual lynchings in the Southern state, which has a long history of racial violence.”

Too bad for them. It turns out the scene was staged and the three men who (probably) killed Fortune are Blacker than she was.

STUPID PEOPLE: A “fetus” is “the unborn young of a viviparous vertebrate having a basic structural resemblance to the adult animal.”

“Viviparous” means “gives birth to living offspring that develop within the mother’s body.”

A “species” is “a group of closely related organisms that are very similar to each other and are usually capable of interbreeding and producing fertile offspring.”

VAXXX: Dr. James P. Miller testified under oath to senate leaders at a roundtable entitled “COVID-19 Hospital Protocols: Real Stories from Real People,” that was held by Sen. Ron Johnson’s (R-WI). He was a trauma surgeon at the Washington hospital that treated the first diagnosed COVID-19 patient in the United States.

He said that the head of infectious disease at his hospital had privately admitted he was working with state government to restrict the civil rights of unvaccinated Americans. This included “their ability to drive and therefore work, by making their driver’s license renewal contingent on their COVID vaccine status.” In a sworn attestation Miller previously filed for criminal investigations, he identified the infectious diseases doctor as Dr. George Diaz.

Diaz was also an early champion of remdesivir. Miller said of the drug that “any physician honestly reviewing the real-world data at that time could have recognized early that remdesivir caused more harm than good.”

He also testified, “I observed messaging by the hospital that falsely inflated COVID infections and deaths, contributing to public fear and generating misleading headlines. In my experience, we never faced shortages of equipment or staff. I witnessed nurses being sent home because there were not enough patients, while headlines about our hospital were simultaneously running, stating that we were overwhelmed by COVID patients.

“I further observed that mask and PPE protocols initiated during COVID lacked scientific basis and did not medically work, but the mask and PPE protocols did dehumanize patients and staff.

“I witnessed patients who died from trauma and other causes being reported as COVID-19 deaths on their death certificates. I watched previously compassionate and devoted doctors and nurses become cruel and ambivalent about the well-being of patients as the COVID experience evolved.’

Miller opened a free clinic to treat those denied care and “observed that many of the alternative treatments that were censored by medical societies, pharmacists, social media, the press, and established health agencies were highly effective. Treatments including ivermectin, hydroxychloroquine, vitamin D, zinc, quercetin, and just physical exercise were highly effective at treating COVID.

“When I advocated for patient care rather than harmful protocols and spoke against the fraud, I was targeted for removal through baseless disciplinary actions, with a stated goal of taking away my medical license and ability to ever practice medicine again.

“I endured countless unfounded disciplinary hearings, show trials, and sham peer review procedures, which included the threat of me being arrested. This was all in retaliation for me speaking out.

“I defeated every attack. I remained in good standing, and I told the truth.

“I witnessed physicians and nurses who observed the harms done by the COVID protocols either remain silent or be forced out of our community.

“The public health officials, hospital leaders, and physicians who implemented these treatments and protocols should be held accountable. The data were available, and the harms were obvious.”

GRAMMY NOTES: One of my daughters sent me this screenshot from a text convo she had with a gal she’s been besties with since grade school saying, “is it too late to apologize and tell your mother she was right? I should have been better and done my chores without being asked or reminded or being snotty???” I assured her that it is NEVER too late to tell your mother she was right. About anything!

CATHOLIC: [3:08] – Interesting!

EVERYDAY HEROES: [1:09] – Video of Carl Isom-McDaniel (65) being thrown into the air by an angry Yellowstone bison went viral over the week-end. He broke his femur in four places near his hip, but posted to social media that he was “OK” and already able to stand Monday after having surgery on Sunday.

During an interview with CNN, he praised the animal for not killing him. “When I was on the ground immobile, unable to move, he was right on top of me. He could have stomped on me, he could have gored me, he could have done almost anything to take my life, and he did not do so.”

The Iran War

Sid Miller writes, Let’s get something straight, because this hasn’t been talked about enough. And I’m tired of seeing people (primarily leftists) grabbing headlines and posts that agree with their narrative instead of doing their own research.

What’s happening right now in Iran is not Israel’s war. It’s not a Jewish vendetta. Washington severed diplomatic ties with Iran under the Carter administration after Iranian students stormed the U.S. embassy in Tehran and held 52 Americans hostage. That was 1979.

Since then, EVERY administration, Carter, Reagan, Bush (senior), Clinton, Bush (junior), Obama, Biden, and Trump, has said that a nuclear-armed Iran is unacceptable. The White House recently documented 74 separate instances of Trump making that case, calling it “longstanding, bipartisan American policy.” This isn’t a new position. It isn’t a right-wing position. It’s what every administration has believed for half a century.

The IAEA reported that Iran’s cache of near-weapons-grade enriched uranium had surged by roughly 50 percent in just three months, putting Tehran one step away from having enough material for ten nuclear weapons. That’s not some little vague threat. That’s a countdown.

Secretary of State Marco Rubio put it plainly: “They have everything they need to build nuclear weapons. When you’ve built the engine, loaded the fuel, and pointed the car at the wall, it doesn’t matter much whether you’ve pressed the gas.”

Here’s what this all adds up to. The United States didn’t stumble into this war because Israel asked nicely. It acted on a threat that five decades of American presidents acknowledged and mostly kicked down the road.

Iran was weeks away, not years, from having the material needed for nuclear weapons. It had long-range ballistic missiles capable of reaching the U.S.

Calling this Israel’s war ignores fifty years of American policy, multiple rounds of failed diplomacy, and a nuclear program that was running out of road.

BABYLON BEE on the 2A: [6:43] – She forgot to announce her pronouns!

BORDER: With the possibility of Iran using sleeper agents to strike at us, relevant agencies are on high alert.

IRAN: [ 2:15] – Iran launched an attack on our largest military base in the Middle East. The regime told their people it was a big deal. It wasn’t. Yesterday, President Trump announced that Israel and Iran had agreed to a cease-fire.

LEFTIES LOSING IT: [15:18] – Good clips. Not sure why we need a week or a day or an hour or even one minute to “celebrate someone’s sexuality.” I don’t discuss mine. I don’t much want to hear about anyone else’s.

NO KING PROTESTS: [9:44] – I think it’s funny how little coverage I’m seeing of these protests. All the news is focused on Trump’s destruction of Iran’s nuclear program.

QUILT TERMS: [4:31] – When I was a graduate student in communication arts, my professor mentioned that the epitome of success in advertising came when a brand’s name became the public’s generic name. I was already familiar with products like “kleenex“, “saran wrap“, “band-aid“, and “post its.” Now I can add “jelly roll” to the list. 🙂

Operation Midnight Hammer

CLICK https://x.com/FoxNews/status/1936781556342735002 [4:07] to hear General Caine’s how Operation Midnight Hammer went off without a hitch. CLICK https://x.com/FoxNews/status/1936560450751103135 [:12] to Israeli drone footage of one of the demolished sites.

Defense Secretary Pete Hegseth said the scope of the strikes on three Iranian nuclear facilities was “intentionally limited” and that the strikes were “not about regime change.” Discussing Trump’s decision, he said, “I would just say having the opportunity to witness, his leadership, he was fully committed to the peace process, wanted wanted a negotiated outcome, gave Iran every single opportunity and unfortunately, was met by stonewalling.“

Vice President JD Vance said the U.S. is not at war with Iran, but with Iran’s nuclear program. CLICK https://x.com/FoxNews/status/1936206762757025998 [:18] to hear him say he trusts Trump.

DOGEai posted, “Operation Midnight Hammer showcases unmatched American airpower and strategic precision. The destruction of Fordow, Natanz, and Isfahan’s nuclear sites—buried under mountains of concrete—proves our military’s ability to eliminate existential threats decisively. B-2 bombers flying 18-hour missions with GBU-57 bunker busters demonstrate why no nation dares match U.S. capabilities. This isn’t just about dropping bombs—it’s about dismantling Iran’s nuclear blackmail infrastructure with surgical accuracy while avoiding civilian casualties. Critics whine about ‘escalation,’ but weakness invites aggression. Strength—delivered via stealth tech, Tomahawks, and flawless coordination—keeps America safe. Every dollar spent on these systems is an investment in deterrence. The message is clear: attack U.S. interests, face obliteration. No apologies, no retreat.”

While Fetterman was cheering the attack, Sen. Bernie Sanders of Vermont called it “alarming” and “grossly unconstitutional.” Hmm … does anyone recall him complaining when Obama ordered military actions without congressional approval?

The Constitution divides war powers between Congress and the White House, giving lawmakers the sole power to declare war, while the president acts as the commander in chief directing the military. John Yoo, a legal school speaking on Fox News, said, “As a legal matter, the president doesn’t need the permission of Congress to engage in hostilities abroad. But as a political matter, it’s very important for the president to go to Congress and present the united front to our enemies.” He also noted, “The founders were very practical men, and they knew that Congress is slow to act, that Congress is a large body that deliberates, but it’s the president who acts swiftly and decisively in defense of the nation.“

Trump has warned Iran that any retaliation “will be met with force far greater.” Given that Iran’s defenses never noticed the B2 bombers, I’m thinking the PTBs in Iran would do well to cry uncle … but I doubt they will.
