That video of the “peaceful protest” at the capitol in Madison is revolting. Can you imagine the media reaction if tea partiers had ever behaved that way? When is Øbama going to lecture his union pals on civility?
I am SO glad my kid doesn’t go to school. I don’t know how many of those protesters are teachers (I’m guessing most of them are rent-a-mob types who responded to an ad on Craigslist), but I wouldn’t want to take a chance on my daughter being stuck in a classroom with a teacher who behaved the way those clowns are behaving.

I definitely think rent-a-mob, in fact I recognized some of the street theater from “peace” marches. I’m not sure those “police” or “firefighters” who showed up were real either.

I agree. Soon the legislators who actually want to go to work will have to hire a private security firm to escort them through the angry violent mobs. I hope their life insurance is paid up.

It’s very quiet at my house. Yesterday, if I forced it, I could produce a croak, but today I have lost my voice completely. My husband called from CA, couldn’t understand my whispering, and told me to beep once for “yes”, twice for “no.” In nearly 40 years of marriage, it’s the only conversation I ever had with him where he did all the talking. 😎

Hope you feel better soon, FtN! Hot tea with Honey and Lemon always brought my voice back when I lost it from singing for too long without proper technique. When I’m sick, a Celestone Injection does the trick, being an RN, you probably know that already. 🙂
