President ‘Present’ By Kimberley A. Strassel – March 18, 2011
One knock on Barack Obama in the 2008 election was his record as an Illinois state senator, where he repeatedly ducked tough issues by voting “present.” It seems old habits die hard.
If you’d like to know where the leader of the free world stands on those NCAA rankings, just turn on ESPN. (“I think Kansas has more firepower,” he explained as he filled out his bracket.) Wondering what the commander in chief thinks about gun laws? Don’t worry—he’s in favor of those already on the books, according to a recent op-ed.

Herman Cain was on O’Reilly last night, but not with Bill, with Juan Williams, which just cracks me up – I’ve always like Juan, but filling in for O’Reilly? So strange!
Here’s the video:

It’s a short interview, and you’ll hear a lot of repition of talking points, but the thing I like is that Cain can speak coherently and is unflappable in interviews. I really, really like Herman Cain. I’d say he’s my top choice right now.

Cain is certainly very intelligent and well-spoken. (I’m tempted to say he’s clean and articulate and nice-looking and doesn’t have a Negro dialect unless he wants one, but I won’t.) AND he knows how to run a successful business, unlike the dupnik in the White House who has zero private sector experience and probably couldn’t run so much as a newspaper stand to save his life.

Gotta love Bidenisms. And not just run a successful business – turn it around!! We need someone to turn this ship around and I feel like he can do it. And a mathematics major to boot! (swoon)

So now “Uncle Tom” means a middle-class black person whose parents are married to each other? Sheesh…

They also call them “porch negroes” which I understand is a seriously major insult.

That’s a new one to me. I need to get out more.
