    Hee hee, Pete. There’s a wonderful cartoon with talk balloons coming out of the White House that say, “Mr. President, you’re supposed to extend all your fingers when you salute, not just the middle one.” and “Are you sure?”

    Has anyone else read Cashill’s new book? I found his theories about the birth certificate very compelling.

    Basically, he boils it down to two possible scenarios that share the same fundamental element. I.e., Barack Obama Sr. was a hired beard, not the biological dad. In both, Jr. was born in the U.S. which, frankly, I’d prefer, given the constitutional crisis his not being native-born would bring on.

    I think one of them is almost certain to be true and either explains other well established facts like the one I couldn’t make sense of — i.e., Ann was definitely living in Seattle, Washington only two weeks after Jr. supposed birth date.

    I’ve given birth 3 times. Trust me on this … no freakin’ way does a newly delivered mom get on a plane, cross the freaking Pacific Ocean, set up an apartment and register for college classes within two weeks of the baby’s birth!

    It makes even less sense that she gave birth in Kenya and then did all that, so I think Cashill’s probably got it pegged. The whole Ann and Barack love affair was a fraud, a PR package put together by her parents to protect Ann and her son from scandal and then perpetuated by Jr and his handler to promote his political career.

    Obama is attempting to require any corporation who applies for a contract with the government to disclose their political contributions. Apparently, however, unions and organizations such as Planned Parenthood would be exempt from this requirement.

    I have been telling my family for 2 years that we need a mother in the White House, to say “no, absolutely not. We are not going to do that. Stop even thinking about it.” I loved Sarah Palin’s facebook post yesterday. My brain read “Turn off that darn TV and get to work on that homework – right now!”
