Honestly … my one thought about NOW speaking up here is that they think Bachmann hasn’t got a snowball’s chance in hell.

Incurious. Unprepared. Dangerous. Once again, the Ann Coulter Rule of What Leftists are Doing proves out. (Ann’s rule is “It’s easy to know what they’re up to. Just look at whatever they’re accusing us of.”)

If anyone is Gardiner, it’s the well-dressed, simple-minded boob in the White House. NOT Sarah Palin!

Excellent, Chrissy. I don’t think that I ever saw that Newsweek article and it is just as well because I probably would have been angry for weeks. I’m ready to turn my anger into action for something positive. I’m chomping at the bit.

I had not read it until today to get some cut lines. It raised my BP, you betcha. Not as much as Obama’s Dover photo stunt though. I swear, if that horrible ass does NOT quit dissing the military, I am going to STROKE OUT.

I love that the media is so pro-woman, don’t you?
p.s. Has anyone seen “Being There”? Is it worth watching?

I’ve seen it – watched it in a film class and then again on Netflix. I really liked it. It’s a slowish sort of film, and it’s a Peter Sellers that you probably haven’t seen before in a movie.

“Being There” is my all time favorite movie. I saw it when it first came out and laugh every time I think about it. Not too long ago I got my kids to watch it and they did not get it. Oh, how I have failed them, if they don’t think it not only funny but profound! How could I have done this to them???? That’s it. I am going to make them watch it again and again until they laugh and get the point of the tale. They are going to watch until they fall in love with Chauncey!!!

Okay, you guys talked me into it — it is now in my netflix queue!

Now a gut-wretching decision. I am coming out of the closet. Right here. Up front and personal. Please don’t hate me. Here goes: I can’t stand the plastic look Sarah Palin has taken on. Is that her natural face or has she been doing the botox or similar? I want someone that is comfortable in their own skin (or as in Biden’s case, “own hair”).
I will not be offended if, for the protection of your friend, SP, you delete this comment after it is posted. I would get that.

Does she really look like that? Different from what she used to look like? (I haven’t seen any recent pictures of her so I really don’t know.)

Yep, to me she does. In 2008 she looked so natural and now she looks plastic.

Well, that is not something that I have noticed, but I will pay more attention now that you have mentioned it. Actually, I thought I was noticing a few more wrinkles in her photos, and it made me feel a bit better about mine! But you may be right – I don’t know. Her hair style changes so often that she does look different to me a lot.

Hmmmm. Not seeing it, but I’ll be looking. Shame on you if you thought we weren’t allowed to speak openly about SP. Where do you think you are_ HB? Any hoot, are you talking about the pictures above, or in general. and, that’s the worst pic of Bachman I’ve seen to date.

Well, I agree that it’s not a good picture of Bachmann, but even at her worst MB looks better than I do at my best. I could say the same of Sarah. I haven’t noticed her (Sarah) looking different now than she did in 2008, but then I’m not the most observant person either, and since I don’t have TV I only see what people post here and on other blogs.
