Being involved in the holistic health movement has me skirting too worlds. I meet a lot of liberals and some of the websites have been hijacked by the left. You would be amazed at how many are supported by Soros’ TIDES foundation. He uses these “causes” to launder donations to for their political causes. The EWG and Organic Consumers Org are a couple of them.
But I believe Jeff Smith, who is behind the GMO movement is an honest man.He is not making a fortune and is trying hard to educate people about GMO’s. I have heard him speak and he seems very sincere and passionate and is not a kook like some of the others I hear.
Other countries require GMO to be labeled. We need truth in labeling here.
BTW-GMO soy is a bigger threat than corn since it is almost all GMO. This could be a reason so many of us are developing gluten intolerance and allergies.

IKWYM about alternative and lefties. I began seeing a Clinical Ecologist (MD licensed by AAEM) in 1984. I’d suffered for 17 years from bizarre, sometimes incapacitating health problems, but been told repeatedly by many, many doctors that it was all in my head. Environmental Medicine saved my life.

Kelly-There are a lot of us out there. In fact, I believe we were the start of the enviromental movement. Same with the women’s lib movement. We just all left it when the whackos took it over. Sierra Club founder left his own org, John Coleman is now advocating against the weather channel that he founded,etc.
But one of my disappointments is how the right always mocks nutrition and health. Rush is the worst. When he goes off about healthy eating, I just want to smack him. His new tea sounds like real junk, I don’t care if supposedly tastes good. Just more sugar water that people do not need.
I wish we could get one conservative woman to start to talk about nutrition. I don’t mean MANDATE it like Mooschelle wants to do. I mean just encourage people to make wiser choices.
And isn’t it interesting that with all of her talk about nutrition, she does not even mention GMO’s? Hmmm could it be that the former head of Monsanto and Obo buttie is now heading the FDA?

The holistic health folk are very upset with the Won. They thought he was going to help them, and this is spawning a movement called the Canary Party. I am taking part in this group, which is full of former Obots now supporting Ron Paul. The GOP has got to get on the stick and entice these people into the fold.

My father died last year. The past couple of years, he could not get to the polls. This made me happy because he would only vote for “d’s”. Damn, now my father is cancelling my vote again!
One of the goals of the IL teaparty is to fight against voter fraud. Since about 98% of IL counties are still Red, we know
where to concentrate our efforts. But we need people who are wiling to take on the black panthers hanging out in front of the polls with their batons.
Last night we had a great tea party meeting about how the IL pension system has destroyed our state. It was so eyeopening. Do you know you can teach ceramics in IL and retire with an 100k pension!
PP-We need an IL blog. You should run it. I think there are enough tea party members who would support it that you could also make it a for profit. We need to educate the public about what is going here before it is too late.

I could try,if you gave me an idea about what to blog about,other than the fact our state government is corrupt to the core,we have the worst credit rating in the country,the highest rate of businesses leaving the state thanks to onerous taxes and we’re the only state without a concealed carry law.Keep in mind that technically speaking,I’m stump-stupid so I couldn’t do the fabulous graphics Chrissy knows how to do.

Maybe Chrissie could do an extension of this page. Call it the ILLannoyed Connection “getting America well, one sick state at a time”. Since we are without a doubt the sickest state, if we get Illinois healthy again, we can do it everywhere. I could even add some input about personal wellness.
Who knows, it might eventually spread to other states.
I know there are folks in the IL teaparty who would like to open up communications. We have lots of Tea groups around the state and a couple of statewide info sites, but there is nothing like this, where people can come in and vent and banter. Your Grudge report is brilliant and I think people would love it. I do not think it would be hard to get sponsorship and donations to keep the blog going and you and Chrissy could get paid for your time at last.
Just think, we could spread non GMO (government made opinions) around the country!
