      This is a great idea, but sadly, this would be seen as a victory for the Taliban. I would not put it past barry to do this though. If this happens, all those lives would have been in vain. Of course, barry will still get to say that HE got Osama.

        Little known fact:the Pentagon told him they could have gotten him 4 months earlier with an air strike.Bam turned it down because he needed a corpse to hold up and gloat about his ‘victory.’I predict we will be reminded of this ad nauseum between now and November.

            You know all this hooplah over the new release, “Act of Valor” gives me an uneasy feeling. I have no doubt it is an awesome tribute to the seals and really, really good. I mean, Rush raved off-and-on it for almost three hours, but some little whisper is telling me it is a set up to get people to want to go see the OBL movie coming out and the viewers will already be primed from this movie. It looks to me, with the timing, maybe they are paving the way. Remember these thugs are experts at pschy ops and mindforming. Just wondering. Who made this movie. Maybe it isn’t Hollywood and I can be reassured.

      I think EVERY college student should take a one year sabbatical to do volunteer work in our communities. All those professors would have no one to pay their overblown salaries and the institutions would have a tuition slashing war that would make college affordable again.
      Imagine, a whole year with no college sports!

        Don’t mind a year of volunteer if it is not mandatory and one is not penalized for choosing not put the year aside. I tend to go from have them out and working at sixteen, full time with a very very low wage. By the time they are twenty they are begging to go to school/college and wouldn’t even think of partying away the education.

      PP-I know that others may not be as interested in the happenings in Chi Town as we are, but it is good you keep the Chicago news coming. People need to see what is going to be the scenerio for the whole county, as the machine goes nationwide.
      That said, I actually have to credit little rahm for daring to take on the teachers union. But he also needs to target the parents. Chicago public schools suck because there is little parenting going on at home. Until the black community addresses this, and gets tough on the school behavoir of these kids, nothing will improve. Stop pandering to these punks. If they do not toe the line, 3 strikes and kick them out. Make them beg their way back into school by signing a code of conduct. Enforce dress codes. Make school only available to those who want to learn. Kick out the thugs, gang bangers and drug dealers so that those who want an education can have a safer atmosphere. As a former teacher, I can tell you, there is little time to teach when you spend the whole class on disciplining. This has got to change.

        I recall when students reflected respect for their teachers that they were taught at home.Thanks to LBJ’s ‘great society’ that version of home largely is gone now along with the discipline.

      I agree. We need to crack down on sharia law or it will permeate our culture. This is what happened in Europe. They are waking up, but it make be too late. Read “While Europe Slept”. The Scandinavians opened their doors and welcomed these people, who have moved into whole neighborhoods where the police dare not go.
      They are trying to do this all over America. They start by buying a large house where they can have “gatherings”. The neighbors try to fight it, but get turned down by their city councils after threats of lawsuits by the deep pockets of these “mosques”. Next thing you know, the call to prayer is waking everyone up.Then people put up the for sale signs, and the houses are snapped up, and viola. A whole new community is born. One of the hotbeds of breeding terrorists is a community on Chicago’s south side called Bridgeview. It once had a small, peaceful moslem community. It was suddenly given outside money to build a mosque. The original moslem Iman was driven off because he was not teaching “acceptably” aka, he was not radical enough.

      When I heard Rush bring this up, I thought this is exactly why we do not want Romney. I wanted to throw something when I heard McCain say he did not want to criticize barry! We want someone who has the kahunas to get in barry’s face and call him on all the lies. We want someone who is going to play offense, not be afraid to offend.
