      Fred just doesn’t get it, either. Those polls he keeps citing as proof that things are not so bad should be sky high for the GOP, if they had any clue whatsoever. I sort of like Fred Barnes’ general disposition, but he isn’t any more clever than the rest of that clueless, dispirited bunch in the beltway.

      I saw on Twitter that they have headed back to Occupy the Park at Wall Street today. The “Official” Occupy Wall Street tweeted there more than 500 people, but other eye witnesses tweeted it was 200 tops. Here we go, from now until the election.

      This is actually a good thing, and one of the reasons I get so mad a rush when he goes off on this topic. Yearly mammograms subject women to radiation and compression that causes breast cancer. Radiation builds up. It does not go away. I have the proof because my breast is still red (with a thermograph after 4 years!).
      The problem is, the mammo machine makers (GE), who are backed by lots of Komen bucks continue to lobby for more mammos and fight insurance codes for thermography! This has nothing to do with women’s health. Follow the money- Right back to the white house where GE chair Jeffrey Immelt goes to dinner with his boss to try to kill more poor women, since they have succeeded so well with the rest of us.
      If they really wanted to save lives, they would get rid of these damned torture machines and use thermography!

        If only they were doing it to improve health care. But methinks they’re not. More likely, it’s the latest salvo in the war on blacks that Margaret Sanger et al. started way back when.

          I have to agree with you, Chrissy.

          As for mammograms, I had one many years ago (doctor kept telling me I was “high risk,” since my mother had had breast cancer) and once was enough. When something is that painful, it’s usually a pretty good indication that you shouldn’t be doing it. That’s what pain is for — to warn you that you’re doing something you shouldn’t be doing.

      The Trib use to be a republican paper. They only endorsed obama because they would lose more subscibers if they didn’t. And John Kass is the only reporter who has been exposing Obama from day one. Too bad the rest of the press rats ran up to Wasilla to see what color Sarah’s undies were instead of asking John Kass one question about the Real Barack Obama.

      That freeze frame of Biden looks so weird — he’s standing directly in front of a lady whose hair is the same color as his, so her hair looks like it’s his. It makes him look like he hasn’t gotten a haircut in months.

    Just watch this vid of Holder from the mid-1990’s — The headline is a stretch and misrepresentation. Holder is speaking to “our youth” and referring to the the Black Urban Culture, which he is referencing as his own. I was surprised at how African American Holder is in this video. Even his skin tone is darker. He is identifying with with AA. Yes, i am seeing race. Why? Because I feel he has represented himself on the national stage as NOT. That is bothersome. Why hide who you are? All I come up with is a negative AA past — New Black Panther or Black Liberation Theology ?(How come neither of these have replaced ‘black’ with African American??), Was the real reason he let the Philly Panthers off is because a trial would uncover his past association? ???????? Oh to be able to research! Wouldn’t a site called, “Beyond the Scrub” or “Scrubberected” be kool to place found data………….
