Ok, Moron Party Crashers. It is a private party. Sure you have to have tickets but only people meeting two criteria get in, 1) have a ticket AND 2) be a supporter of the campaigner. You DO NOT have rights as citizens to go to whatever party you want. Hey, I am having a party next week for my kid’s birthday — you don’t have a “right” to come so stay home! Parties, even if fundraisers, are private events and that is that. In fact, at my birthday bash I can say you can’t come because you are black. Or because you are a shrieking beotch. Or because you are a Communist. I could invite you and when you show up, if I don’t like who you are and are not who I thought you were, I CAN uninvite you! Of course I would not bar you for merely being black because I am not a racist and besides Allen and Herman are invited. (This in no way is intended as a racial slur.)

Dana Loesch was great in her “I Am Brietbart” tshirt. I wish we had someone like her locally, fighting for women. She really put her stamp on the “women’s lib” movement.
I got to chat with Lt. Gov. Kleefisch! We exchanged a little fellow cancer survivor anecdotes. She is so funny!

Joe Walsh did not show up, something to do with working on the secret service scandal.
It was a blustery day, and the turnout was disappointing, but it was heartening that there are still many of us who are not backing down. As usual, everyone was polite, the signs were all kosher, so there will be no fodder for the anti tea party propagandists. Not a spec of debris was left behind.
Take that you occupoopers. There poor cops had nothing to do.
And there was virtually NO press. What a surprise. I bet it did not even make the news or the papers, even though there were a couple of hundred of us. When Cindy Sheehan had a rally with a couple of dozen, the press was there in droves.
The most disappointing was when musician Bert Cattoni gave sang the Star Spangled Banner, almost everyone who was walking by kept walking! It broke my heart that they would not take a minute out of their day to pay tribute to our flag, especially those who were walking right under it! We saw you! Shame on you! You do not even deserve to live in this country, you ungrateful mindless prigs.
Bert Cattoni left us with his rendition of “I Still Believe”.

“Reporting” does not describe what ABC did here. “Sneering at contemptuously” is closer to the mark. Right from the get go, with the host’s introduction to what the Buffett Rule “really means”, it’s all DNC talking points presented as straight fact against the GOP’s talking points presented as “what the Tea Party says.” They never even mentioned more than half the points I’ve made in my blogs on this issue. ARGH!

The Republican:dog::Democrat:cat analogy is seriously flawed. Cats are independent, self-cleaning, and very low maintenance. I have six of them at the moment (because my kids are always rescuing strays) and six cats are less work than one dog. Unlike cats, dogs are very dependent and needy. They have to be bathed and groomed, they have to be taken out for walks on a regular basis so they take care of their personal needs, and if you live in the city, you have to carry a plastic bag when you walk them so you can pick up their poop. Anyone who thinks dogs are “self-sufficient” (as the graphic claims) has never owned one. Dogs have many wonderful qualities, but self-sufficiency is not one of them. If I have to be gone for a few days, the cats can take care of themselves just fine while I’m away. Try leaving a dog alone in the house for a week and see what happens.

I recently figured out how to save big bucks on saline. I have an eye problem that requires me to flush with saline about once every two hours, round the clock. I wake up in the night with burning eyes and have to put cream around my eyes before bed to protect the delicate skin from the crap that leaks out in my tears or I get red and sore, like a sunburn.
Anyway, I go through a LOT of saline and it’s gotten more and more expensive, causing me to ponder if the pre-mix packets of salts I buy for my NeilMed nasal irrigator (good for allergies!) would be a safe, inexpensive substitute. I did the math and the cost differential is more than $3 a bottle! I reuse the saline bottles, squirting hydrogen peroxide inside before refilling to keep it sterile and using filtered water warmed to room temperature.
I just used up the first me-mixed bottle on my eyes and they feel fine. Well, not fine so much as no different from when I used the expensive saline.

Chrissy, can you send me some information about the nasal irrigator? My teenager has seasonal allergies and I’m looking for something that will help her. Although allergies of all kinds run in my family, I was the lucky one who didn’t get them, so I know nothing about how to deal with them. I was hoping my kids would be lucky as well, but my youngest is one of the unlucky ones. She really suffers when her allergies flare up, and it gets her depressed, almost despondent at times. Any info you can send me will be appreciated.

Detoxing the liver helps so much with allergies. I helped my young cousin get rid of all most all of hers (except cats). Also, iodine helps.
Chrissie, I would be happy to send you a sample of our skin care line to see if it helps with your dry eyes. Also, fish oil helps alot.
I use to have really dry eyes too, even got stys. The fish oil, and iodine has put an end to it.

Use capsules. Do not use liquid forms. It goes rancid quickly when it hits the air, and temp changes, and has a short shelf life. Also make sure it is guaranteed mercury free, or you will end up with more toxins. Fish oil will also protect you from sunburn when it is injested. The skin is just a reflection of what is happening inside. Get your insides healthy and your skin will glow.

Ingest. Make sure it is pure and mercury free, though. Otherwise you create a whole new set of problems. Also, fish oil is best taken a capsule 5x/day vs in twosies or a handful. Taken reg. will also help lower borderline blood pressure. Chrissy, olive oil around your eyes. Or warm beeswax between two fingers and pat on gently. Rotating these two protects and heals the skin. Both stand up to the salt in tears.

I had great response from Usana’s Hepasil. It is a combo of tumeric, alpha lipoic acid, NAC, and milk thistle. It is gentle which is good because if you detox to fast, you can get into trouble. My girlfriend was having terrible itching for months, after just a few days with hepasil, it is gone. Usana also has a great 5 day digestive tract detox called RESET. It helps with carbo craving too. After cancer treatments, I really wanted to get the toxins out. I tried a lot of different products, including brands I could only get from my chiro. I would change one thing. When finished, slice the hoop and cast off instead. Can always duct tape hoop for next rug. Some hoops can just be pulled apart at some point, if look closely. I like that it only uses maybe 15 shirts. To crochet one with same material uses about thirty-forty! I was impressed with the cleverness of this idea.
