Today, just one in three Americans has a favorable view of the federal government. This is the lowest level in 15 years. Republicans held the majority control of the federal government from 1997 through 2006.
Democrats have had majority control from 2007 through today. They said they were prepared to govern. They said they would do a much better job than the Republicans had. They lied.

Really. I also believe, if they’d reported the Iraq War honestly (hello, we won it!), that big big downward arrow in the Bush years would be very, very different.
