Real Men pick up the check

A city spokesman said local taxpayers shouldn’t have to subsidize the cost of an event that is purely for fundraising and is not open to the public except for payment. If the Obama bill continues to be unpaid, they will send it to an outside contractor for collections.

This is a timely post because I was invited to have lunch with Mitt Romney on Saturday at Homemades by Suzanne, but the invitation did not say he was picking up the tab. I declined, of course, because I really don’t care to even walk across the street to see Romney, free lunch or not. And I got as far away as possible when Obama was across the street a few months ago – you just know you are going to be stuck with the tab with that guy.
