I don’t plan to post a lot of links today.There’s really no point.But you know what always happens.
When Barry managed to get himself re-elected by using every brain-dead moron with a pulse in this country,we knew it would be bad.The only surprising thing is how he turned so quickly from pretending to care to the all-out assault on our liberties and our way of life.He doesn’t give a damn about governing–never did.It’s all about getting even with those who have acheived and inflicting as much pain on his political opponents as possible.There are a few in the democrat party who are against what he’s doing,but they dare not speak up against the black jesus.I don’t doubt he’s reminded them of this in private conversations.
I could not bear to watch his presser Monday or his dog and pony show signing his imperial edict surrounded by a nice array of children of every color.Little did these kids or their gullible parents realize he’s already spent every penny they’ll ever earn.I have a number of videos to post,but none include him.As usual,I’ll add a few comments along the way.
Hoot:I had a similar incident to yours that happened to me when my youngest was a baby back in 1980.After working a 12 hour day driving my laundry truck I had to stop by the store for some milk and formula for her.I ended up in line at the checkout behind a black couple with a cart full of groceries.Of course,they paid with food stamps.They also had a 12 pack of beer and two cartons of cigarettes they had to pay cash for.He reached in his pocket and pulled out a large roll of bills and peeled off a $100 bill to pay.
I tapped him on the shoulder and said: “Excuse me,sir.You pay for your groceries with food stamps and have the unmitigated gall to pay for your cigarettes with a hundred dollar bill?”
“That’s the way the game is played,white boy.”
“That’s why so many of you niggers are being shot.” (political correctness hadn’t been invented yet)
He took a step back toward me and I promised him if he touched me he was going to have a very bad day.He turned around and walked out laughing.The cashier told me under her breath they do that all the time and thanked me for saying something about it.
Perhaps I handled it badly,but I’d had a belly full of people taking and never even appreciating what they have.I would submit to you that the law-abiding people of this country are in the same position over having one of our most important constitutional rights being usurped by a dictator-wannabe who has never done a thing to earn or deserve the riches the brain-dead in this land have handed him.

I love the NRA ad; it clobbers the nail squarely on the head. My kid doesn’t go to school, thank God, but if she did, I’d sooner have her at one with armed guards than in one of those pathetic utopian “gun-free zone” indoctrination centers.

I suspect some teachers and admins are ccw at our local high school. Armed guards are a deterrent but as Columbine shows, not necessarily effective. We do have a sheriff on full-time duty at the school but with the largesse of the school and the sprawling layout someone could cause a whole bunch of blood spilling if started at opposite end from where sherrif is; especially if two attacking as one could be keeping track of whereabouts of sheriff. The best deterrent is knowledge that at least half of the teachers conceal carry and no one knows which ones. Just think, Sandy Hook would not have turned into a MASS murder if teachers had been armed.

Plainclothes cops might help too. However, knowing that some of the teachers have concealed weapons would certainly be a very good thing. This gun-free zone crap is worse than worthless; it’s an open invitation to psychos.

Your story and Pete’s reminds me of an epiphany I had when my kids were both in diapers. I was reading an article in the Trib, called the “Neediest Families Christmas fund”. Each day they would highlight the woes of a particular family and encourage us chumps to help them out.
As I read them, I would get madder and madder. One in particular stood out.
A woman who had 8 kids under 10 was moaning that she could not afford diapers for all her little babies. There was no father(s) around for these kids of course.
In those days, we could not afford disposable diapers. I would swish mine in the toilet and then wash them, just like grandma did. The disposables were a luxury for when we traveled. Here I was, washing diapers in the toilet, and I was supposed to pay for the diapers for a woman who had no business having so many kids she could not afford.
This was one of the main reasons I became a Reagan democrat and never looked back.

Entitlements are killing us. Most people have no idea what a large part of the federal budget they represent. I’m always amazed at how many people think defense spending consumes most of the budget, when it’s really a pretty small percentage, compared with what we spend on entitlements.
Back in the days when food stamps were actual coupons, rather than an EBT card, it used to make me crazy when I saw a teenager walk into the grocery store, buy a liter bottle of Coke, pay for it with a $20 food coupon, and receive $19 cash in change, which he could then go spend on anything he liked. It made me want to scream.

It is snowing here tonight after 3 days of rain and I don’t know how, but it is sticking to wet grass and roads and cars and puddles, even. There was actual thunder and lightning with all the snow, too! I have never seen a thunder storm of snow before. Does that happen often?

I love snow too, GP — the more the better. We started the winter with one of the most beautiful blizzards ever, and I got my hopes up that it was going to be a really nice snowy winter… well, maybe it still will. It’s only January, and in Wisconsin that means we still have three months of winter to go. In theory, at least.

Who is the biggest hurdle for this regime? The military of course. They are respected by most Americans and glorified by us “bitter clingers”.
Dear leader cannot have that. He needs them to acheive his goals. That is why there has been a constant drumbeat to discredit the military:
Abu Graib was the start
Then we had the Fort Hood massacre-you know, just workplace violence
Next we have a respected general being taken down by a floosy who just happens to be writing a story-yeah right.
Mooch is out there pretending to support military families.
“Progressives” are being given high ranking jobs, while the conservatives are forced into retirement.
And I would wager, the new recruits are going to be coming heavily from the left, including lots of muslim brothers.
This is all part of a plan to make all of us no longer have faith in the military, and have a military that is willing to take on honest Americans. They need a military that is sworn to listen to all the mandates of dear leader, and not to uphold the Constitution.
We need to pray that a leader will emerge from the tea party ranks who can get the truth out there, before it is too late.
This is really getting scary.
