Good grief. I grew up poor, and all we had was sack lunches (except for hot dog day when some of the moms would sell hot dogs at school for a quarter).
We all survived on sack lunches, and our parents did not buy the PBJ with food stamps.
Let people pack their own kids lunches-or teach the kids to do it for themselves like I did.

I agree. My school had no cafeteria, and everyone brought a lunch from home. Rich, poor, it made no difference. No one went hungry. If one kid forgot to bring his/her lunch, other kids would donate part of theirs. It was a very good system. We ought to bring it back.

Another good thing is that the same ladies have been working on election day to check the voters in since Moses was in the bullrushes. They live in the precinct and know everybody, so it would be hard to pull a fast one on them. I’m still glad we have the new law, though. I can’t believe it hasn’t always been the law everywhere.

It is not your precinct that is the problem. It is always the cities, run by libs where the corruption occurs.
You will never convince me that they had a 98% voter turnout in Chicago, but only 20% in my republican county. The votes were rerouted.
It’s not who votes that counts, it’s who counts the votes.

You are so right. My precinct is like Mayberry RFD and Aunt Bea is the head of the poll workers. But 3 miles down the road in the urban area is a whole other story.
But one good thing here – all the state and local computers are somehow tied in together for things like birth certificates, death certificates, car titles, etc. So it is very unlikely that a dead person votes here unless they got buried in the back yard and no one of authority knows about it.

The most important factoid in that article is that the WONDERFUL CANADIAN SINGLE PAYER HEALTH CARE system failed repeatedly with what was a SIMPLE problem.
1. The doctor who stitched up the original wound LEFT the knife blade in his back.
2. When the man went back, because the area was hurting him, they blew him off with “Oh you just have nerve damage.”
3. His GIRLFRIEND figured out he had a piece of knife embedded in his back. Not a doctor or a nurse or any other member of the Government Healthcare System.
4. Yo, fools. METAL shows up clearly on x-ray. That’s why airport security uses them to look for, you know, WEAPONS in your luggage.
5. The man had been searched more than once with a metal detector and it ALWAYS WENT OFF over his old knife wound … the same place that itched and hurt him.
Wow … aren’t we GLAD we have ObamaCare forcing us all into that single payer system we Did Not Want?

My friend was transferred to Toronto and had to jump through hoops to get into their healthcare system. She was later dx’d with cancer there, and said it was like some kind of third world experience. They were way behind on diagnositics, treatment times, and then of course, there is the long waits. She finally went back to AZ, where they still had a place and was treated there. And to make a long story short, she did not even have cancer!
