The jury was told Gosnell kept the remains of at least 47 dead babies in odd places at his clinic, including cat food jars.
A reporter asked White House spokesman Jay Carney if President Barack Obama has any comment on the trial. Carney said, “The president is aware of it. The president does not and cannot take a position on an ongoing trial, so I won’t as well.”
Riiight. Cuz we all know how careful Obama is not to insert himself inappropriately into other people’s legal issues.
Remember that time his friend Henry Gates was seen breaking into a house and refused to produce identification ro prove it was his own house to which he’d forgotten the key? The cops followed procedure and arrested him.
The next day, President Obama admitted he didn’t know all the facts, then proceeded to tar and feather the Cambridge police as racists who had “acted stupidly.” What were those cops supposed to do? Let a man who merely claimed to be the homeowner and became abusive when asked to present identification continue breaking into the house? Sheesh.
