I honestly think that the GOP big shots were as much to blame as the IRS. I heard from a lot of misguided people that were not going to vote because they did not like the way Romney was “foisted” upon them. I didn’t like it either, but I still voted.
That GOP disdain for tea party types reared its ugly head again today here in VA. The current establishment GOP lt. gov. Bill Bolling made rude, condescending remarks about the new GOP nominee for his position. Something along the lines about how he had not worked 30 years to build the GOP to see it destroyed with one convention that nominated all tea party types. Everyone knew Bolling was going to sabotage this slate. He thought the nomination for Gov. should have been his for the taking, but bowed out when he realized there was no way to beat Cuccinelli at a convention, as opposed to a primary. Bolling announced about a week ago that he has started a new PAC to combat the “right wing takeover” called the “Mainstream PAC.” Those jerks are going to fight just as hard against Cuccinelli, Jackson, and Obenshain as the Democrats.

I agree. It still does not make sense that obo won. I know a lot of people who changed or did not vote for him the second time. I do not know anyone who went for Obama the second time and McCain the first.

I heard there were something like 70,000 reports of voter irregularities, including multiple cases of GOP poll watchers being literally locked out of their station, and these were in places where they used those easy-to-hack machines. As for Obozo getting 100% of the vote, please. Even dictators don’t get 100% with nobody running against them! Yet I heard not one peep about investigating. I remember all too well the hanging chads and the Gore-acle refusing to concede until SCOTUS had to step in. I’ve seen Lefties complain recently that Bush “stole” that election. And that was ONE DISTRICT. This is when I gave up on America. S’far as I’m concerned, they took my vote, they took my freedom. The rest of this stuff … IRS, AP, etc. … those are symptoms.

Oddly, the kitties didn’t pay that much attention to the foxes — birds are what really interest them. My husband runs a welfare state for birds, so we always have lots and lots of little feathered visitors. They keep the cats fascinated for hours!

WASHINGTON (The Borowitz Report)—President Obama used his weekly radio address on Saturday to reassure the American people that he has “played no role whatsoever” in the U.S. government over the past four years.
“Right now, many of you are angry at the government, and no one is angrier than I am,” he said. “Quite frankly, I am glad that I have had no involvement in such an organization.”
The President’s outrage only increased, he said, when he “recently became aware of a part of that government called the Department of Justice.”
“The more I learn about the activities of these individuals, the more certain I am that I would not want to be associated with them,” he said. “They sound like bad news.”
Mr. Obama closed his address by indicating that beginning next week he would enforce what he called a “zero tolerance policy on governing.”
“If I find that any members of my Administration have had any intimate knowledge of, or involvement in, the workings of the United States government, they will be dealt with accordingly,” he said.
