Yeah,it’s been a couple days since I’ve posted.Been busy.Seems our social security alone will cover our monthly bills but not leave enough for food,gas and medicine.An unforeseen expense would be disastrous.So I went back to delivering papers,toting my oxygen tank in the back seat.Its really not so bad,just getting used to being up and out the door by 1:30 AM seven days a week.I’m getting invoices from cardiologists,pulmonologists,the hospital and our family doctor looking for some payment on my bills.The hospital had helped us apply to the feds as a hardship case,since I had no insurance and applied for Medicaid coverage.About a month ago they phoned us saying they needed a copy of my last check stub,a copy of my life insurance policy and the cashout value,and a copy of DW’s policy even though hers is a term policy with no cash value.We have not heard anything since and I’m not optimistic I’ll be granted any relief.I didn’t sneak into the country illegally and our families haven’t lived in subsidized housing,eating government cheese and talking on a government cell phone without ever holding a job or even bothering to look for one for the last four generations.I guess,in short,I’m too white to get any consideration.
The news the last few days has just been a source of outrage and frustration as we find how deep the corruption runs in this regime.There is plenty more I plan to rant on,and I shall.Trust me.

I told my husband a few years ago when I read that Apple had surpassed Exxon in market capital to be the largest U.S. company that they were going to start feeling all sorts of govt. heat for all sorts of real and imagined transgressions. But when it comes to answering for this Politburo-style intrusion on private citizens, Lois Lerner suddenly discovers the Bill of Rights.
She’s taking the Fifth Amendment.
For those who voted for Obama, the Fifth Amendment is:
