Glad to see Chrissy’s long nightmare is over.
Between Friday and today I did the bulk of my holiday gift shopping without leaving the comfort of my broken down,padding worn-through computer chair which I have been hinting to DW and two of my daughters to replace for a nice leather high-back number with arm rests. We’ll see if it works. I’m not really counting on it.
Do not attempt to assign any rhyme or reason to the links today. I’ve bookmarked so much it’s all over the place. I’ll just holler ‘Geronimo’ and take a leap of faith.

I did a bunch of research and found that Fisher Price had designed a line of frames that were really meant for 5 year old faces … not just scaled down adult frames in cute kid colors, but actually designed for the way their faces are at that age. Like, they don’t have so much nose as adults. It took a while to locate a place that had them, but my daughter was delighted with the pink ones that were so cute and comfortable and oh golly I can see better too.

She also needed orthotics in her shoes. I remember telling a friend, “I’m afraid to let the kid out of my sight. She’s got $300 worth of plastic on her face and another $300 in her shoes!” She did forget her glasses once and we frantically backtracked to every place we’d been that busy day. Last stop was our first stop … Dairy Queen. The owner saw us come in and grinning widely, held her glasses up and waved them. He had a kid with glasses too.

I am avoiding all news article about the sleazebag, but I will read this one. I think it will be more healthy for me to just ignore Terry for the next 4 years. We have enough problems with the Republican Party of Virginia to keep my blood pressure up without adding the Cliinton’s mule into the mix. Seriously, the GOP in Virginia is about to go through a “civil war” worse than the national one, I believe.
