Rick Scott Refuses To Appear On Debate Stage Because Charlie Crist Has An Illegal Electronic Fan
Florida Republican Governor Rick Scott temporarily refused to debate Democrat Charlie Crist Wednesday night after accusing Crist of using an illegal electronic fan under his podium.
As you can see, the two candidates who have been invited to speak at this debate right now are not stepping up on the stage,” said the moderator. “Ladies and gentlemen we have an extremely peculiar situation right now.”
Rick Scott is “also in the building” but “will not be participating in this debate.”
Scott cited a rule that “there should be no fan,” according to the moderator.
Scott eventually appeared on stage, after he was booed in absentia by the crowd. Scott failed to adequately explain away the controversy.
The debate rule appears to have been a prohibition against electronic devices, like the kind used for cheating, and there was no specific “no fan” rule.
I can’t stand it.
Yes,having fans was against the rules, but since when did democrats ever concern themselves with rules? The way scott handled it made him look petty and juvenile. He was leading the polling ,but this may cost him as the media will now hammer him mercilessly as they always do to republicans.

BREAKING: Obama to Send National Guard to Liberia to Fight Ebola
” alt=”” />
<img src="
President Barack Obama is expected to issue an executive order Thursday paving the way for the deployment of National Guard forces to Liberia to help contain the Ebola outbreak there, sources told NBC News.
The sources said that eight engineers and logistical specialists from the Guard, both active-duty and reservists, would probably be included in the first deployment. They are expected to help build 17 Ebola treatment centers, with 100 beds apiece. The sources said that no decision had been made.
Apparently he’s not satisfied he’s put enough servicemen at risk yet.

Black Voters in Ferguson Turn Against the Democratic Party

It’s been two months since Michael Brown was shot by police officer Darren Wilson, and while protests continue, some in the African American community are now channeling their anger into political action—and not for the usual party.
“Just because they’ve got the D next to their name, that don’t mean nothing,” Darren Seals told the Washington Post. “The world is watching us right now. It’s time to send a message of our power.”

Well, I believe I was wrong. There were two patients in The Dentist. When WC leaves, then returns, he asks the assistance, “Are there any patients?” Assistant replies, “Miss Mason.” I had mistakenly presumed the assistant referred to another, unseen patient, but watching it again, I got the joke. WC has completely forgotten that Miss Mason is in the chair.
So, that writhing actress would actually be Elise Cavanna, who was only in three films, all with WC. Still, she was great in this physical comedy, akin to Zazu Pitts.

Good to know! Elise was a very tall actress, apparently. Sometimes, she was credited simply as “tall woman.” And she was in a short titled: “Big Dame Hunting.”

Democrat Blues: Seeing Red Everywhere……
Republicans have single-party control in 23 states:

And More to Come
Midterm elections present problems for Democrats. The party’s most loyal voting blocs—young voters and minorities, in particular—tend to vote at lower rates than in presidential years. This year, President Barack Obama’s falling approval rating could drag down Democratic candidates for state legislative seats. And thanks to the GOP’s widespread success in 2010, Republicans were able to redraw many states’ legislative maps after that year’s census, gerrymandering themselves into solid and consistent majorities.

Liberal Judge Tosses Out Texas Voter ID Law…Appeals Court Says…

U.S. District Judge Nelva Gonzales Ramos in Corpus Christi, determined that Texas’ Voter ID law was unconstitutional and similar to a poll tax designed to dissuade minorities from voting, in spite of the fact that any Texas citizen could obtain a state issued ID for just $3.
New Orleans-based 5th Circuit Court of Appeals on Tuesday reinstated the law for the November election. The 5th Circuit did not rule on the merits of the law; instead, it determined it’s too late to change the rules for the upcoming election. Early voting starts Oct. 20.

Houston Mayor Backs Off From Subpoenas to Pastors

MILITANT CARPET MUNCHER ANNISE PARKER
“It’s not about what did you preach on last Sunday,” she said. “It should have been clarified, it will be clarified.” City Attorney David Feldman had an odd admission of his own: that he had not reviewed the subpoenas before they were issued. “When I looked at it I felt it was overly broad, I would not have worded it that way myself,” said Feldman. “It’s unfortunate that it has been construed as some effort to infringe upon religious liberty.”
Make no mistake…she’s not backing off harassing white Christians, she just thinks she needs to “narrow the scope” of the subpoenas.
Do you think for a second they would ask a black church for the text of their sermons?Seriously.

This is exactly how things went down in Ithaca some years ago. The Lefties running the town created a ridiculous noise ordinance to use as a political whip to control public speech.
They only person they arrested was a minister sharing the Bible’s teaching about homosexuality on the Commons. The city spent something like $100,000 fighting and LOST when noise experts demonstrated that cell phones and leather shoes hitting pavement violated the ordinance.
Fast forward a few months and another minister gets arrested in the same place for doing the same thing. But this time he has a copy of the court’s decision. So what, say the cops, and haul him off. Thousands more Ithaca tax payer dollars later and the case is dropped. Then the mayor actually SAYS OUT LOUD that it was all a big MISUNDERSTANDING. “We never meant to deprive anyone of their 1st amendment rights.”
Oh yes you totally did too.

Hold Your Nose to Vote But For Goodness Sake, Don’t Stay Home
There are way too many conservatives expressing dissatisfaction with the GOP candidates running next month and in the possible lineup in 2016. They say before they vote for a RINO, they’d rather stay home.
There was a time when I would have admired their principled position but not this year. It is vitally important that the Republicans take over the Senate because the sad fact is that President Obama would never have been able to wreak havoc on this country without the hundreds of Democrat minions in Congress.

Catholic teaching says that when only bad choices are possible, the most moral choice is the least bad one.
Since refusing to choose is in itself a choice, people cannot claim the high moral ground by boycotting the polls.
Because Catholics are sometimes faced with elections where all the candidates are tolerant of abortion, the Church issued a teaching that the most moral choice was to vote for the least pro-abortion person. In other words, refusing to vote is the greatest evil.
That being said, I did refuse to fill in one circle on my absentee ballot this week because it was for the D candidate who was running unopposed. To me, this seemed the least of the evils.

Top House Dem to Party Allies: Help Our Campaigns
It is frustrating that the cavalry that has always been there doesn’t seem to be there,” Rep. Steve Israel, D-N.Y., told reporters. “My point is that we still have 20 days, and that’s an eternity for outside groups to mount up the cavalry and get them to the hill.”
Though he named no specific groups, Israel’s remarks were a rare public rebuke by a leader of his party’s own supporters. They also seemed designed to prod Democrats’ environmental, women’s rights, labor and other liberal backers to step up their activity in time for the Nov. 4 voting.
A spokeswoman for the National Republican Congressional Committee contested Israel’s comments.
“Democrats aren’t losing because of outside groups,” said Andrea Bozek. She added, “They’re losing because their policies are not popular.”
