This is my first time reading it. So funny how little people have changed, you know?

Exactly. That’s why I get a kick out of the science-groupies out there who like to talk about how far humans have “evolved.” Really? In what way? You read Beowulf or Gilgamesh or Odyssey or the OT and the ONE THING that jumps out at you is that men and women are exactly the same as they ever were, and if there is any difference at all, it’s that we have lost about 30% of the wisdom we once had. It’s humbling.
