Obama Plans Visit to Kenya in July
HE’S GOING HOME FOR A SHORT VISIT
I SUPPOSE DRESSING MORE THAN SEMI-CASUAL WOULD BE OUT OF THE QUESTION
The summit is part of Obama’s goal to increase business ties between the United States and Muslim countries, first announced in his Cairo speech in 2009.
Kenya is hosting the summit this year, which in past years has been hosted by Turkey, The United Arab Emirates, Malaysia, and Morocco.
According to the announcement, Obama’s trip will “continue our efforts to work with countries in sub-Saharan Africa, including Kenya, to accelerate economic growth, strengthen democratic institutions, and improve security.”
