Lies My President Told Me [6:27]
If you don’t know how each of these is a lie, google.
For the record, I think his 2008 statement was mega stupid. People need vacations if they’re going to stay sharp. I think he said it, not because he intended to work 24-7, but because the Left was making a big hairy deal out of how many days Dubya had spent at his ranch in Texas.
Biiiiig difference, folks, is that once the ranch was established as a presidential retreat (comms, security), it didn’t cost anything extra for him to go there. But when Obama goes on vacation, they have to pull out all the stops every single time … security scouting, renting facilities for his family and his entire team, flying his motorcade vehicles to and from, setting up the comms a president has to have. Then, there are all the times that Her Highness has decided she can’t deal with flying on the same plane as him, so she demands a separate flight … which we pay for.
As for golf … Dubya quit playing golf because we were at war and he didn’t feel right about bereaved family members seeing him on the links. The Left scorned this decision, because “big deal, who cares if he does or doesn’t play golf?” But now that Obama plays as often as possible … sometimes causing tremendous inconvenience to others* … the Left swoons about how great golf is for helping a president relax from the stresses of his big, important job.
*One of Obama’s games forced a couple to rearrange their wedding plans. Another forced military members to abandon their families on Christmas day. What can I conclude from this except that he is both a liar and a self-centered bastard?

Every time we try to talk about the rights of the unborn, the Left throws up the “wah wah you don’t care about the mother’s life” argument.
Wrong. We would care … if it were an issue. The thing is … it’s not.
First of all, such procedures are surpassingly rare.
Secondly, even these few may have been done for spurious reasons. In 1992, a group of Ireland’s top gynecologists wrote:
“We affirm that there are no medical circumstances justifying direct abortion, that is, no circumstances in which the life of a mother may only be saved by directly terminating the life of her unborn child.”
There is firm data to support their position.
One should understand that treatment to save the life of the mother that results in the death of the child as an expected but not intended side effect is not a direct abortion.
The simplest example of this is the removal of an ectopic pregnancy. In this situation, the baby begins to develop in the woman’s fallopian tube and has to be removed or the tube will rupture and cause the death of the woman.
The ethical distinction in the removal of an ectopic pregnancy is that the aim of the operation is to save the mother. In direct abortion, the aim of the operation is to kill the baby.

First, a note…there will be no post tomorrow. I finally talked my BFF and fishing partner into taking tomorrow off. We haven’t been out more than a few times the past few years because of his work schedule and his wife and grown son like to go out in the boat as well. My beloved child bride and my family threw me a surprise birthday party (haven’t had one since I was twelve) and I promised RJ I’d get him out before school started. He said he’s never caught a catfish before, so we’re taking him on the river, where we know some good spots. Hopefully,we’ll have some luck. The reason I’m excited is I’ve never had an opportunity to do anything with just him. It’s always at a football or baseball game or a family function with a lot of people around.
My dad died when I was three and my granddad didn’t fish. I would sometimes wait all summer for one of mom’s boyfriends to take me carp fishing once. I never had a son and there are only so many opportunities to make memories while children are still young. Hopefully it will be a day he’ll remember as going fishing with grandpa. There is no price for that I would not pay.
OK… on with the dose.
There’s a lot of speculation about the Butcher’s e-mail servers containing top secret information and how she could wind up in jail. I have not taken a drink in more than 20 years, but I vow if it did happen, I’d get a bottle of Bacardi rum and proceed to get properly shitfaced. She’s the democrat nominee, so nothing will happen. It never does to the Clintons. An ordinary person (or a republican) would already be wearing an orange jumpsuit.

The Kentucky Department of Juvenile Justice is requiring that volunteers sign a document promising to never tell inmates that homosexuality is “sinful.”
Those who refuse are no longer permitted to volunteer.
One long-time, now former volunteer says the new regulations define anything less than affirmation of homosexuality as hateful and derogatory speech.
This includes Bible passages.
The American Pastors Network President Sam Rohrer said, “Pastors and all Americans must wake up to the reality of expanding efforts to cleanse our nation of all moral truth. When pastors and all Christians…are forced by government agents to renounce sharing the very reality of sin, they are in fact being prohibited from sharing the healing and life-changing potential of redemption.”

April 3, 2014: Hillary Clinton talks about her accomplishments as Obama’s Secretary of State
New York Times columnist Thomas Friedman asked Clinton, “When you look at your time as Secretary of State, what are you most proud of, and what do you feel was unfinished, maybe love to have another crack at someday?”
TRANSCRIPT HILLARY: “Look, I really see my role as Secretary, in fact leadership in general in a democracy, as a relay race. When you run the best race you can run, you hand off the baton. Some of what hasn’t been finished may go on to be finished, so when President Obama asked me to be Secretary of State I agreed.
IF HILLARY HAD BEEN HONEST: I was Obama’s Secretary of State.
TRANSCRIPT HILLARY: “We had the worst economic crisis since the Great Depression, we had two wars. We had continuing threats from all kinds of corners around the world that we had to deal with. So it was a perilous time frankly.
IF HILLARY HAD BEEN HONEST: There were lots of problems at home and around the world, as per usual.
TRANSCRIPT HILLARY: “What he said to me was, ‘Look, I have to be dealing with the economic crisis, I want you to go out and represent us around the world.’ And it was a good division of labor because we needed to make it clear to the rest of the world, that we were going to get our house in order. IF HILLARY HAD BEEN HONEST: As Secretary of State, I represented the Obama administration around the world, because that’s what the Secretary of State is supposed to do.

IF HILLARY HAD BEEN HONEST: While I was President Obama’s Secretary of State, Russia invaded the Ukraine and we did nothing; 4 Americans, including an ambassador, were slaughtered and we both lied about it; Syria “crossed the red line” and and we did nothing; Iran continued to work on developing nuclear weapons and we did nothing; China got feisty with its neighbors and we did nothing; North Korea threatened South Korea and Japan and we did nothing; Venezuela cracked down on democracy protestors and we did nothing; Muslim extremism increased and spread globally and we did nothing.
TRANSCRIPT HILLARY: “I think we really restored American leadership in the best sense. That, once again — people began to rely on us as setting the values, setting the standards. I just don’t want to lose that because we have a dysfunctional political situation in Washington. Then of course, a lot of particulars, but I am finishing my book so you’ll be able to read all about it.”
IF HILLARY HAD BEEN HONEST: Obama and I managed to make America into a laughing stock around the world. Our friends don’t trust us any more. Our enemies take what they want, knowing we won’t do a thing to stop them. The only values and standards we set were the ones marked “Destroy America” and for that I’m really proud, because taking down the free and independent United States of America is what Progressives have been working toward for the past 100 years.

The Times of India – In a breathtaking spectacle, Goddess Kali was projected on the Empire State Building in New York.
Artist Andrew Jones designed the portrait of the goddess to make the point that Mother Nature now more than ever needs a fierce avatar to fight the dangers of pollution and extinction, Firstpost.com reported.
Uh huh. I know what Maa Kali is. Patron Goddess of the Thuggee Cult. Goddess of time, destruction and death.

Last night St. Louis Post-Dispatch reporter Paul Hampel was covering the anniversary protests in Ferguson, Missouri.
Paul was right in the mix of looting and violence when a group of protesters beat, stomped and robbed him.
He posted this right before the beating.

Hampel said he was taking photos and videos of break-ins along West Florissant Avenue shortly before he was attacked. Suddenly, he said, he was rushed from behind.
“I got swarmed, beaten down really bad,” he said.
The attackers punched him in the face, hit him in the head at least three times and kicked him in the back of the head when he was on the ground, Hampel said.
The attackers took his phone and wallet and left.

Activists: Man Who Shot At Cops Not To Blame, Police Shouldn’t Have Used ‘Plain Clothes Officers’
The activist group Organization of Black Struggle defended the actions of Tyrone Harris — the man who opened fire upon and was then shot by police officers in Ferguson, Mo. on Sunday night — by shifting the initial blame back upon the police department.
“It was a poor decision to use plain clothes officers in a protest setting,” Kayla Reid, a field organizer for the group, said on Monday. “It made it difficult for people to identify police officers, which is essential to the safety of community members.”

The Black Lives Matter protester, Search4Swag, was the man shooting video here. He started screaming for help for the man on the ground. The man on the ground allegedly fired on police, who fired back, striking him. The police secured him with handcuffs and called for ambulance, and that’s when this guy comes into the picture, trying to make a video claiming they are just leaving the man there to bleed out.
You can see the black officer tell him to step back and stop getting in the way of the crime scene. He is interfering with their investigation and their ability to make sure the scene is secure.
He was arrested but later released. Naturally, this is now evidence of the ‘evil police’. The suspect who was shot is in the hospital in critical condition.
