New Hampshire Primary Thread

The early returns from Dixville Notch, NH:
With 100% of the votes tallied (9)
Sanders-4 votes
Kasich-3 votes
Trump-2 votes

Sanders is expected to handily defeat The Bitch. This is his back yard. What remains to be seen is how wide his appeal is outside the liberal armpit of the Northeast. On the Republican side, Trump is still the heavy favorite. The real battle is reported to be for second place between Rubio, Kasich, and…wait for it…Jeb! The South Carolina contest is next week and the country should have a little better feel about how deep the shit we’re going to be in by then.

New Hampshire Reporter Asks Hillary: How Is a Socialist Beating You?

    Here’s the transcript:

Reporter: As you’re closing the gap here in New Hampshire, we all know anything can happen, but how is it that a socialist could even be within striking distance of you, let alone beating you?

Hillary Clinton: (laughter) Well, I don’t know what’s going to happen tomorrow, I’m just going to keep working as hard as I can…

Lib Rag HuffPo: Black Kindergarteners Face Racism From White People in America…

They learn this garbage at home. They have no chance whatever of having a productive life. Raised without a father with multiple siblings by different sires, being taught to lie, cheat, steal anything you can because the deck is stacked against them. Get what you can when you can and keep voting for the people who keep you in misery because you’re told to hate white folk.

Critics pounce on Lynch’s campaign donations

THERE IS NO WAY AN OBAMA FLUNKIE WANTS TO BE RESPONSIBLE FOR PUTTING CONTROL OF THE WHITE HOUSE IN JEOPARDY. HILLARY WILL NEVER BE PROSECUTED AND SHE KNOWS IT.
Critics of the Obama administration say Attorney General Loretta Lynch should be disqualified from overseeing the investigation into Hillary Clinton’s email server because of the more than $10,000 she has given to Democrats in recent years.
According to data compiled by the Center for Responsive Politics, Lynch contributed a total of $10,700 to Democratic candidates between 2004 and 2008.

    FROM THE EARL:
Of course. But only if Obama refuses to enforce the law. Which he’s already shown a willingness to do, whenever it suits him politically. Having an indebted Hillary in the WH to clean cover up after him seems like it would fit the agenda. Maybe he even gets to pick her VP. Someone to bring out the black voters and keep a eye on the doings in DC.

Later, he could release the dirt on Hillary – causing her impeachment and his hand picked successor then becomes President…Deval Patrick? Kamela Harris? Reggie Love? Jay Z?

Damn. I’m creeping myself out now.

Bill on Campaign Trail: ‘Sometimes I Wish We Weren’t Married’

WHAT DIFFERENCE, AT THIS POINT, DOES IT MAKE?
“Sometimes when I am on a stage like this, I wish that we weren’t married, then I could say what I really think,” Bill Clinton said before introducing his wife at a rally. “I don’t mean that in a negative way. I am happy.”
SHE COVERED MY ASS MANY TIMES WHEN I WAS GETTIN’ A GROOVE ON, SO I HAVE TO STAY WITH HER. AS LONG AS I DON’T HAVE TO HAVE SEX WITH HER.

Job seekers have reason to be optimistic about their 2016 prospects, expert says

THE TROUBLE IS FINDING PEOPLE WITH THE NECESSARY SKILLS WHO WANT TO WORK. A LOT OF EMPLOYERS HIRE AND FIND OUT ALL THE EMPLOYEE WANTS IS A PAYCHECK. THE WORK PART,NOT SO MUCH.
Currently there are more jobs available than job seekers. According to the U.S. Department of Labor, the current unemployment rate is trending downward, a positive sign for all us — it was 4.9% in January, down from 5% the previous month.

In some parts of our country, we have unemployment rates as low as 2%. New York City’s unemployment rate, as of November 2015, was hovering at 4.8%. Outside of the oil and gas industry and those who service that industry, every head of human resources and recruiting I speak with is hiring for 2016.

    • There are certainly jobs available, but not for twits with degrees in gender theory or the history of patriarchal oppression. Every time I need someone to repair a broken appliance in my house, I get put at the end of a long waiting list because there are never enough repairmen available to meet the demand. “Well, let’s see… how about two weeks from next Friday? Will there be someone at home then?” It’s maddening. (Yes, I’m in a bad mood. In the past few days both the dryer and the furnace gave up the ghost, so I’ve got laundry piled up to the ceiling and I’m freezing to death. At any minute I expect my car to die, or one of my grandcats to get multiple sclerosis.)

      • Ouch! Yeah, I’d expect the car to go next. Last night, I had to make a house call to my sister in Castle Rock. She had 2 serious problems develop on her Jeep at exactly the same time. Totally unrelated. The night before a trip. Got ’em both fixed by 11pm, but man, what are the odds?

        Sorry about your appliance woes!

        • Well, we did manage to get the furnace fixed — which is a miracle, because it’s thirty years old, the company that made it is no longer in business, and it’s impossible to get replacement parts for it. But by amazing good luck, or divine providence, or something, the furnace guy just happened to have the part we needed lurking in a dusty corner of his storage shed. I’m just hoping and praying that nothing else will break down. Right now I have to go to my daughter’s house to do my laundry — thank heaven I have a daughter who lives nearby and has a dryer that works.

You Go, Girls! People Magazine Gushes Over Hillary, Chelsea, and Charlotte

People magazine interviewed Hillary Clinton and Chelsea Clinton in the latest issue (February 15) for a “Campaign Trail Scrapbook” and reporter Sandra Sobieraj Westfall brought the usual syrup. On the table of contents, over a picture of Chelsea resting her head on Hillary’s shoulder, they aid “As voting begins, Hillary and Chelsea Clinton reveal the personal side to this year’s raucous race to the White House.”

    Bernie and Hillary’s America

Watching last Thursday’s debate between Democratic presidential candidates Hillary Clinton and Sen. Bernie Sanders, one might have thought a Republican had been in the White House for nearly eight years.

Hearing their complaints about the economy (bad), discrimination (rampant), health care (too many without it), unemployment (too many not working, or working at low-paying jobs), it appeared hope had died and change is all we have left in our pockets
