The good, in this case, is that Miss Isabel and Miss Olivia are here for the day. DW is fixing them breakfast and we have a nice lunch planned. The family are going to be scattered for Easter but the following Sunday they’re all coming here for dinner and some together time. At this point in life, family is all that matters and all I have to live for.

A lawsuit that was purportedly filed by the man who shot former Rep. Gabby Giffords (D-Ariz.) claiming emotional and psychological distress is a hoax, according to 12 News.

A quick Google search reveals more than $100 million in travel costs for the Obamas, well more than half for personal use, all billed to the US taxpayer.
This is the problem with socialism: the corruption at the top. The Castros are worth close to a billion while their subjects starve. In Cuba you’ve got to bring your own toilet paper to the hospital with you.
The Obamas are multimillionaires, and they’ve only ever been in public service. So where’d the money come from?
Socialism … no, scratch that, let’s call it what it is, Communism … is always predicated on Other People’s Money. I propose we make everyone at a Bernie Sanders rally empty their wallets and return 30% of their money to them, “donating” 50% to the bums down the street and shaving 20% off the top for “administrative costs.” There’s yer “socialism,” bubba, how d’you like it?

I finally read a blog post about our growing income inequality that I wasn’t too stupid to understand. Let me see if I can paraphrase it.
As we all know, our national debt has exploded (doubled) under Obama, in order to expand his welfare state. This debt has been funded by a continuing series of Quantitative Easing (printing funny money), until Congress literally abolished the Debt Ceiling altogether … spend as much as y’all want, without repercussions or oversight.
But how does this “money” get printed? The Fed (NOT a Government Agency) adds a zero in some computer ledger, and buys bonds and stocks from Wall Street bankers, thus introducing a larger pool of capital.
Thus: Obama’s policies directly enrich Wall Street bankers. These funds never trickle down to Joe’s Hardware.
Once again, under Communism some animals are more equal than others. But as long as Jugears can give a speech decrying income inequality, it’s all good.

Coupla things on that: (a) the party Repubs are horrified by Trump, and are already making plans to override the will of the voters by Imperial Decree; and (b) what makes Trump more loathesome than Hillary or Bernie? His serial infidelity? His infantile tweets? His broad condemnation of all things Muslim? His past behavior, which is often inconsistent with his positions today?
None of those things affect me. On the other hand, Bernie’s and Hillary’s Communism will reach directly into my wallet and emprison me if I refuse to pay for Rosalita’s fifth abortion. But TRUMP is the most loathesome creature on the planet?
In his most recent column at WND, the always excellent Joseph Farah mentions five things he’s certain Trump will do:
*Seal the border, build a wall and enforce immigration laws. This is without a doubt one of the most important priorities for America’s safety and security. If we don’t do this, we will cease to be a sovereign, self-governing republic in the next generation.
*If the Republican Congress sends Trump a bill repealing Obamacare, he will sign it.
*If the Republican Congress sends Trump a budget that cuts spending, taxes and regulation, he will sign it.
*If the Republican Congress gets serious about freezing the debt and balancing the budget, Trump will approve.

Which of these can we disagree with?
Ace has finally slipped a cog in his hatred of Trump, and is burning down his site to appease the GOPe. But I’d caution against joining the Burn-Trump-in-Effigy parade. We eventually see all forces aligned against the Republican nominee whomever it may be. Hillary’s a candidate for the Presidency after committing Nixonian crimes times ten. There are always double standards, and Republicans shouldn’t allow themselves to be co-opted by the Kool Kids Kommie Klub (KKKK).
