The plan was to cease posting anything political so as not to offend anyone, Heaven forbid. There will be no mention of the presidential shenanigans, but there are a few other things of note. I’m planning a very special tutorial, probably for tomorrow. Just thought somebody could use a chuckle on a cold, rainy day.

Lawsuit: Flint Mayor Diverted Water-Crisis Money To Her Political PAC

THEY JUST CAN’T HELP THEMSELVES.THEY SEE POLITICAL OFFICE AS A LICENSE TO STEAL.HEY,THE GOVERNOR IS A REPUBLICAN…AND HE’S WHITE! LET’S BLAME HIM FOR EVERYTHING.
The former city administrator of Flint, Michigan, filed a federal lawsuit against the current mayor’s office, claiming she was fired after raising concerns about donors being directed away from a charity for victims of the city’s water crisis and toward a fund sharing a name with the mayor’s campaign fund.
In the suit filed Monday, fired administrator Natasha Henderson claims that in February 2016, Flint’s current mayor, Karen Weaver, directed a former city employee and a city volunteer to stop directing potential donors to a charity called Safe Water/Safe Homes. That charity was run by the Community Foundation of Greater Flint and had been approved by the city for water-crisis donations.
Instead, the lawsuit claims city employee Maxine Murray was directed by Weaver to begin directing donations to “Karenabout Flint.” According to the lawsuit, Murray came to Henderson “in tears” and in fear of “going to jail.”

Game I play: Guess the Race. Sure ’nuff, litigious fired employee Natasha Henderson is of dusky hue.
In Obama’s America, a specific aggrieved minority always has a lawsuit or two percolating. It’s all so predictable.

Iran Deal Lies Have Consequences

RHODES ADMITTED THEY PURPOSELY LIED TO THE MEDIA BECAUSE THEY KNEW THEY WERE TOO LAZY TO CHECK THE FACTS.
Does the fact that the White House lied to the American people when it was selling the Iran nuclear deal to the media, Congress and the public matter? That’s the question that a lot of the reactions to the astonishing New York Times Magazine profile of Deputy National Security Advisor Ben Rhodes by David Samuels haven’t fully addressed. But once we finish discussing Rhodes’ shameless self-promotion and the question of how the press did its job (or let Rhodes do its job for them), it will be time to get back to the heart of the matter: the ultimate consequences of a nuclear pact that ensured that Iran would eventually get its bomb and how the West — even if has wiser leaders than President Obama down the road — won’t be able to do much about it.

“As the President has said, the United States has a special responsibility to continue to lead in pursuit of that objective as we are the only nation to have used a nuclear weapon,” Rhodes said.
According to a statement released by Deputy National Security Adviser Ben Rhodes, the president will make a historic visit to the site of the world’s first nuclear bombing, where he’ll discuss his vision of a future world free from nuclear weapons.

I seem to remember Bill Whittle recently saying PJTV was shutting down its entire TV branch. They gave it a good long run, but I guess they couldn’t generate the funds to keep it going.
Air America, Al Gore’s thing, rumors are The Blaze is struggling … it must be tough to attract enough followers to fill the seats in a dedicated political media arena. Which makes me appreciate the guys like Rush who have been able to still keep it viable after all these years.

WONDER IF THEY’LL HAVE BOOTS WITH THE CURLY TOES?
Facing legal and political heat, including from lawmakers, the Army is accommodating Singh and several other soldiers whose Sikh faith sets unique grooming and clothing requirements. The beginning of Singh’s military service marks a victory for Sikhs.
AS WITH THE 3% OF THE MUSLIM POPULATION GET THEIR ASSES KISSED,NOW WE’RE INCLUDING EVEN SMALLER GROUPS AS GETTING PREFERENTIAL TREATMENT.

“The plan was to cease posting anything political so as not to offend anyone,Heaven forbid.”
This, from the guy who runs descriptions of “jungle apes” assaulting police cars . Pete, I’m not offended by the politics, I’m offended by the gratuitous insults, and your last post was way over the line.
But look at which posts draw the most comments — it’s always the political ones. Clearly this is what’s on everyone’s mind right now, and you do the blog a disservice by refusing to participate in our nation’s Number One source of discussion.
I know you and Chrissy are no Trump fans. It’s probably obvious I am, but I honestly would love Cruz as President and would happily vote for him. I’m not as hardcore as you guys, and I’ll be the first to admit Trump’s tomfoolery is inventing a whole new way to run for President which may not be everyone’s cuppa tea.
Let’s keep having policy discussions, e.g. I just read Cruz may restart his campaign if he takes Nebraska today!?! Wow, that’s YUUGE news.
I can’t speak for the entire civilized world, just the 38% that I dominate. But I think as long as everyone preserves some sense of humor about all this and treats opposing viewpoints with a modicum of respect, we should be just fine.
Now, let’s gather ’round the campfire for two choruses of “Kumbayah.” And SCOTT WALKER 2024!! (Soros should be dead by then …)

Sorry, the blog left out a “snicker” and winky-face after “police cars” when I posted, it makes it sound a lot more intense without that. Just know I was kidding around (sort of …). I love your posts, and if I weren’t trapped in 1978 I’d figure out a way to insert a little heart or something.
