Is He Gone Yet??

Exactly one month until we rid ourselves of the stomach virus that has sickened us for eight long, agonizing years. I tried to make a list of everything he’s done to make this country better for everybody in America, not just climate alarmists, Black Lives Matter thugs, and illegal parasites. Couldn’t think of any. It is clear, like the petulant juvenile he is, that he’ll not return the courtesy he was shown by the Bush administration, but will make things as difficult as is humanly possible. The best analogy I can come up with is it’s like a large mass of excrement you’re trying to evacuate, but it’s so big it’s extremely painful. That’s probably an inartful description, but accurate.

Obama Said to Use 1953 Law to Permanently Block New Drilling Leases in Arctic, Atlantic
Obama will invoke a provision in a 1953 law that gives him wide latitude to withdraw U.S. waters from future oil and gas leasing, said the people who spoke on condition of anonymity because the decision had not been announced
Coming in the waning days of his administration, Obama’s move — which could come as soon as Tuesday — responds to a clamor from environmental activists who have looked for a way to lock in protections before President-elect Donald Trump takes office
Although oil companies have struggled to tap resources at the top of the globe, industry leaders say they will be needed to meet the world’s energy needs. The American Petroleum Institute has called the idea of permanently withdrawing offshore waters “incredibly short-sighted.”

Report: Obama intends to transfer more Gitmo detainees before leaving office
The Bush administration brought about 780 men to Guantánamo after the Sept. 11, 2001, attacks, saying that it could hold Qaeda suspects there in indefinite wartime detention without trial — a move that the Supreme Court eventually approved — and that it could disregard the Geneva Conventions in how it treated them, which the court rejected.President George W. Bush started trying to close the prison in his second term and bequeathed 242 detainees to Mr. Obama. If the proposed transfers go through, the 41 or 42 prisoners Mr. Trump would inherit include 10 men who were charged or convicted in the military commissions and 27 who have not been charged but are deemed too dangerous to release.

Obama grants clemency to 231 inmates in one-day record
With Monday’s grants, Obama has more than doubled the number of people he has pardoned as president, according to the White House, a number that now stands at 148. He has now commuted the sentences of 1,176 people, including 395 serving life sentences.
“Today’s acts of clemency — and the mercy he has shown his 1,324 clemency recipients — exemplify his belief that America is a nation of second chances,” White House counsel Neil Eggleston wrote in a blog post.

Obama Heads to Golf Course After Receiving Reports on Berlin Attack and Russian Ambassador Death

The President and his motorcade departed the Kailua neighborhood where the First Family rents a vacation home at 10:21 a.m. Spectators on the street threw shakas and recorded photos or video on cell phones as the motorcade made the 10-minute drive to Mid-Pacific Country Club, where the President will be golfing under cloudy skies.

UN appeals for $547 million in aid to PA
UN launches appeal for $547 million to help 1.6 million Palestinian Arabs. The PA continues to spend its budget on terrorist salaries.
The United Nations on Monday launched an appeal for $547 million (524 million euros) to help 1.6 million people in the Palestinian Authority (PA) Sin 2017, AFP reports.
The PA has repeatedly asked for foreign donations in recent years, claiming it is on the verge of collapse due to a worsening financial crisis.
At the same time, while blaming Israel for the PA’s financial woes, Abbas continues to spend six percent of the PA’s annual budget to pay $4.5 million a month to jailed terrorists and another $6.5 million to their families.

Michelle Obama ready for anonymity after ‘painful’ election
“You know, there’s nowhere I can go in the world and just sit at a table and have a cup of coffee and watch the world,” Obama said in what is expected to be her final sit-down interview.
The first lady also said the recent election “was challenging for me as a citizen to watch and experience. It was painful.”
Still, she said she and the president are supporting President-elect Donald Trump’s transition because “it is important for the health of this nation that we support the commander-in-chief.”
She added that the same thing wasn’t done for her husband, but “this is what’s best for the country.”

Makes me wonder – after nearly 8 years duffing around high-end golf courses on our nickle, did he ever manage to break par? Legally, I mean.

Re: Releasing thugs … I believe that those who end up in Hell suffer in proportion to their sins. By freeing these people early, Obama will add to his weight of suffering the penalty due for any crimes they commit between getting out early and when they would have gotten out anyway.

Drilling … since when is any Executive Order or law “permanent”?! Even the Constitution can be changed.
