Remember Bart Stupak? He and a small group of pro-life democrats didn’t want to vote for Obamacare because of federal abortion funding. It would not have passed without them. Had he stuck to his principles, he would have gotten tens of millions in donations from grateful Americans. In the end, he caved and this disaster passed. And the next election cycle he was summarily booted out of office along with all of the others. All the democrats who voted for O-care got something in return. Which led me to the conclusion there are no moderate democrats. They just have different price tags.

An American Airlines flight attendant has been removed from duty after a shocking video emerged showing him challenging a passenger to a fight after allegedly hitting a woman in the head with a metal stroller during boarding.
‘They just involuntarily escorted the mother and her kids off the flight and let the flight attendant back on, who tried to fight other passengers. The mom asked for an apology and the AA official declined.’

Our twin boys were tiny when we had to take them back to the hospital for some kind of check.
We decided, since we were out, we’d stop for some food at a French restaurant (owned by an old family friend; Milady once worked there). We each had a sleepy little newborn in one arm, using our free hands together to tear the baguette.
A woman saw us and asked how old the boys were. We said, four days.
And she looked at us as if to say, why aren’t you lunatics locked up?
Them boys be all growed up now, though. The one who lives down in Big City needs to get married to his pregnant girlfriend VERY SOON!

When we were taking #1 home from the hospital, we stopped Friendly for a meal. I got that same look from two gently used older ladies who asked how old the baby was. LOL I assured them we were going right home, but that I just didn’t want to COOK when I got there. 🙂

When my firstborn (now 38 years old) was a newborn I took her everywhere. Wish I had a dollar for every old biddy who glared daggers at me and/or scolded me for taking such a small baby outside — in the middle of winter, no less (she born in December). I was lucky not to get a call from Child Protective Services.

I’ve read more and seen LOTS of conflicting reports about what happened before the video starts, most of which put the blame on the mother for refusing to stow her stroller and on the male passenger for sticking his nose in when he hadn’t seen what happened in the first place. People who were sitting across the aisle from the woman said it was her fault. I’m wondering why it was allowed past baggage, if it’s not allowed on board and wouldn’t fit in the space allotted for carry on.
