Oldest daughter had to work at the hospital yesterday, so her family is coming over this afternoon for pizza and to exchange gifts. Big Sis works at a restaurant and has to work at 5:00. She needs to put gas in her car and pay for insurance. Her parents make them work for what they want. RJ detassels corn and puts it in a savings account that he can’t withdraw from without mom’s signature. I’m so proud that our kids are raising our grandchildren with a sense of responsibility and respect. I think that’s the greatest gift they could ever give me. Maybe we did something right.

Sometimes it gets ugly. For instance, when one peasant of a flight attendant failed to serve the food Jackson Lee requested, the congresswoman went wild. “Don’t you know who I am?” she reportedly shrieked. “I’m Congresswoman Sheila Jackson Lee. Where is my seafood meal? I know it was ordered!”

CBO: At Least 4.5M Anchor Babies in U.S.
THE UNITED STATES AND CANADA ARE THE ONLY COUNTRIES IN THE WORLD THAT ALLOW BABIES BORN THERE FULL CITIZENSHIP. THE SOLE REASON IS THAT DEMOCRATS NEED MORE PEOPLE UNDER THEIR CONTROL. THIS MUST STOP.
According to the CBO, there are 4.5 million anchor babies in the U.S. under the age of 18-years-old. This estimate does not include the potentially millions of anchor babies who are older than 18-years-old.
Should President Trump’s administration not enact major reforms to end illegal immigration — including constructing a border wall and ending birthright citizenship — the CBO estimates that at least another 600,000 anchor babies will be born to illegal alien parents in the next 10 years.
Former Senate Majority Leader Harry Reid (D-NV) once opposed birthright citizenship, saying in 1993 that “no sane country” would reward illegal aliens with U.S. citizenship for their children.

This bill amends the Immigration and Nationality Act to consider a person born in the United States “subject to the jurisdiction” of the United States for citizenship at birth purposes if the person is born in the United States of parents, one of whom is: (1) a U.S. citizen or national, (2) a lawful permanent resident alien whose residence is in the United States, or (3) an alien performing active service in the U.S. Armed Forces.
This Act shall not be construed to affect the citizenship or nationality status of any person born before the date of its enactment.
White House to remove historic Jackson Magnolia
The Jackson Magnolia that’s been in place behind the White House since the 1800s will be cut down, according to a report.
“The overall architecture and structure of the tree is greatly compromised and the tree is completely dependent on the artificial support,” documents obtained by the cable news outlet read. “Without the extensive cabling system, the tree would have fallen years ago.
The historic tree was planted after Andrew Jackson’s inauguration in 1829. Jackson’s wife, Rachel, died after he was elected in 1828, and according to CNN, the former president wanted to plant a sprout from his wife’s favorite magnolia tree from their farm in Tennessee.
Former first lady Michelle Obama took a seedling from the iconic tree in 2009 and brought it to the Department of Agriculture, where it could grow at the agency’s garden, and former President Barack Obama gifted a seedling from the tree to the people of Cuba in 2016.
Though the tree will be removed, another Jackson Magnolia will reportedly be planted there.

Conservative commentator Ben Shapiro reported an obscene tweet O’Donnell posted about him last week that said “Suck my d___ Ben,” according to Fox News.
Shapiro reported the “harassment” to Twitter to see if the social media giant would take action against a liberal. Twitter initially declined to delete the tweet, but then reversed course.
O’Donnell said she deleted her tweet to Shapiro after Twitter locked her account. She tweeted the notice she received from Twitter that she was in violation of company rules for “abusive behavior.”

President Donald Trump wants Americans to think he re-invented Christmas.
But critics counter that Trump is promoting a version of the holidays that excludes members of other religions, and that his crusade to bring back Christmas is part of a larger attempt by the president to define America as a country for white Christians alone.

Wishing people “merry Christmas” instead of “happy holidays,” is thus in line with Trump’s decision to ban citizens of Muslim-majority countries from entering the United States, critics say. It fits neatly with his refusal to condemn white supremacists when they march against diversity, and with his condemnation of athletes who protest police brutality against black men.
With this in mind, the fight to end the war on Christmas is exclusionary politics at its most flagrant.

Black Unemployment Rate Lowest in 17 Years

According to the Bureau of Labor Statistics (BLS), the unemployment rate for black Americans is the lowest it has been since the year 2000, 17 years ago.
- In November, the national unemployment rate for black Americans, ages 16 and over, was 7.3%.
- The last time it was 7.3% was in the year 2000, during the months September, October and November.
- During the Bush and Obama years (2001 -2016), the black unemployment rate fluctuated between 7.7% and a high of 16.8%.

Joe Biden’s bizarre disconnect regarding his scandal-ridden former boss.
On December 13, former vice president, Joe Biden, appeared on CBS with the hosts of “This Morning” where he peddled his new book and showered his former boss with praise. During the course of the interview, he was asked about his relationship with Obama and responded with the following;
“I’ve served with eight presidents and I’ve gotten to know four of them very well. I’ve never met any president that has more character, more integrity, and more backbone than this guy does.” Then he went completely off the rails when he absurdly added; “And eight years, not a hint — not a hint — of a scandal.”
What was perhaps even more outrageous than the statement itself was the fact that none of This Morning’s hosts challenged the veracity of that statement and allowed it to pass without a scintilla of scrutiny, exposing yet again an extreme bias existing within elements of the establishment media.

NFL Cancels Final ‘Sunday Night Football’ Game Of Season
The NFL announced Tuesday that the final “Sunday Night Football” game of the season has been canceled, according to CNN. The league had yet to announce who would play during the primetime game next Sunday, but with the chance that none of the matchups would have playoff implications for one or both of the teams, they opted not to schedule the game.
The other problem the league faced was broadcasting a game on New Year’s Eve, which would invite lower number of viewers traditionally on that night. Instead, fans can settle in for seven games at kick-off at 1 p.m. eastern Sunday and a total of 9 games starting at 4:25 p.m. eastern time.
In a season plagued with lower ratings due to the national anthem protests, the league’s decision was not surprising
