On Sunday’s “Face the Nation,” Hillary Clinton’s former campaign chairman John Podesta was interviewed by CBS host Nancy Cordes.

When Cordes asked him how the Russians knew to focus on Michigan and Wisconsin and Hillary didn’t, Podesta was visibly flustered.

Donald Trump visited Wisconsin several times during the election. Hillary Clinton only went there AFTER the election to peddle her book of excuses ‘What Happened’.

The ever-classy (not) WaPo had this to say about Trump’s visit to Florida: He “followed a tried-and-true playbook for responding to crises, as he has a mass shooting in Las Vegas and a hurricane in Texas: leaning on praise of the responders — casting their response in hyperbolic terms — while making quick and choreographed stops that do not draw protesters or detractors or large crowds.”

Tucker Carlson Tonight: February 16

The FBI failed to properly investigate the Florida shooter after numerous warnings. Maybe they were too busy trying to impeach Trump to do their jobs.

This is the fourth mass shooting where the FBI had files on the murderers beforehand. The others were Army Maj. Nidal Hassan who committed the 2009 Fort Hood shootings, the Tsarnaev brothers who committed the 2013 Boston Marathon bombings, and Omar Mateen who committed the2016 Pulse nightclub shootings.

The 3 Types of People Who Secretly Enjoy Being Miserable

#1. Martyr

C.S. Lewis said you could tell this sort of person a mile off. They live for others; you can tell the others by their hunted looks. When these people are not appreciated as much as they wish, or even worse, when someone tells them to stop being such  busybodies, they get to enjoy feeling hurt and wounded.

#2. Drama Queen

This person is always more talented, more sensitive, more spiritual, more intuitive, more artistic, more athletic, more whatever than everyone else. When they are underappreciated for their genius, they get to enjoy feeling lonely and misunderstood.

#3. Skeptic

This is the old-fashioned “glass is half empty” person. They always see what is wrong, what is missing, or what doesn’t or won’t work. These people are basically driven by fear; being critical makes them they feel safe.

Four types of people

What if you are NOT one of these people, but you KNOW people who are?

Can you change them? Not really. Mostly, they like being miserable. However, you can try to understand their foibles and love them unconditionally. It helps to remember (a) they are probably blind to their faults and (b) love isn’t something you feel, but something you do. (Read 1 Corinthians 13.)

And what if you ARE one of these people and you WANT to change?

  1. If you’re a Faux Martyr, back off and do something for yourself. You’re not indispensable. Chill out. Go on a retreat. Learn how to truly listen and be alone with God.
  2. If you’re a Drama Queen, get off the stage and do stuff that’s ordinary. You don’t have to be a tragedian to be worth something. God loves you just as you are. Your self-dramatization doesn’t impress him — and that’s okay.
  3. If you’re a Skeptic, have more trust in God. He loves you. Don’t be so afraid to find the good He puts in your life.

On Thursday, AP rushed to publish an unconfirmed story that made right-wingers look bad. It was retweeted more than 41,000 times.

On Friday, the office of special counsel Robert Mueller announced that a grand jury has indicted 13 Russian nationals and 3 Russian entities with conspiracy to defraud the United States.

  • Three defendants are charged with conspiracy to commit wire fraud and bank fraud. Five defendants are charged with aggravated identity theft.
  • The indictments show the Russians’ efforts did not impact the results of the 2016 presidential election.

KEY POINTS:

  • Mueller’s investigation (some would call it a “witch hunt”) showed that there was NO COLLUSION between the Trump campaign and Russia.
  • Mueller’s investigation showed that, despite the long and loud accusations made by Democrats and their lapdogs in the FAKE MEDIA, Russia did NOT HACK the 2016 presidential election.

The Left wants to legitimize disrespect for the flag and for Christianity. They want to ignore the rule of law at the border and silence protests against Islamic ideas that are antithetical to every good thing the West stands for.

They should look to Europe where all these things have been accomplished.

  • When European women are molested in the public square, European leaders advise them to behave more modestly lest immigrants get the wrong idea.
  • When Islamic knives come out and Islamic bombs go off, European police rush to harass those who question the dictates of the Koran.

The degradation of our culture is almost entirely a leftist achievement. Over the last fifty years, it’s the Left that has assaulted every moral norm and disdained every religious and cultural restraint.

Another Piece of Obama’s Legacy Bites the Dust

In 2009, Sarah Palin was roundly ridiculed by mainstream media’s pundits for coining the term “Death Panels” to describe Obamacare’s Independent Payment Advisory Board (IPAB).

But what else would you call a panel of 15 president-appointed people who, with virtually no congressional oversight, were empowered to make major changes to Medicare in the name of keeping costs “under control”?

The IPAB provision was buried in the monstrosity known as Obamacare. It was so radioactively unpopular with the American people that no members were ever appointed to it and no meetings ever occurred. Yet it continued to exist on the books … until last week.

One of the provisions in the recently passed federal budget was the official elimination of the IPAB provision. Good riddance!
