D.C. Clothesline – After U.S. State Department Spokeswoman Marie Harf announced that the long-term strategy in the fight against ISIS was to create jobs for potential jihadists, countless terrorists began filling out applications. Here are a few examples (along with a blank application for potential jihadists on the job hunt). Please, keep in mind this is satire, ok?

Post-Mortem Plan for Democrats: Honor Ted Kennedy, Tell Bigger Lies, Be Even More Irony-Retarded
In the wake of the crushing defeats the Democrat Party suffered in the 2014 elections, the Democrat National Committee recently held a “lessons learned” meeting that is variously being described as a “post-mortem” or an “autopsy on the rotting corpse” of what’s left of the Party. It is being reported that the leadership has decided that they need to focus on the people they lost in recent elections, particularly white, middle-class Americans. However, I think it is more useful to look at what Democrats actually do rather than what they say they are going to do. The two are never the same, obviously. Such is the case with professional liars. So, I have taken a look at the Chairwoman’s Twitter feed and discovered that they are taking a 3-prong approach:
1 – Exalt the Legendary Dead White Heroes of the Party, like Ted Kennedy.
2 – Tell even bigger lies about Barack Obama’sdestructionimpact on the country.
3 – Project even more Democrat’s character flaws onto Republicans, no matter how retarded it gets.
You can tell this is going to work, right out of the box. Obviously, those white people who didn’t vote Democrat are racist woman-abusers, so appeal to them by focusing on white Democrat woman-abusers, like Teddy! That’ll bring them around! Tomorrow, we’ll focus on Joe Biden. That’ll work!

In the “Tell Bigger Lies” department, Debbie has 3 charts to lay upon us right away, and they’re not new, but they are real whoppers in the non-truth sense. Have a look.

Debunking this chart is beyond the scope of this rant, but assuming that the percentages shown are technically accurate, this chart tells two HUGE lies. First, it implies that “the deficit” is going down. It is not. The Public debt is now over $18 trillion, which is something like 102% of our GDP. That’s horrendously bad. The data for 2009 doesn’t look bad as a percentage, but it means we spent an EXTRA $2 TRILLION we didn’t have that year alone, and now in 2014, that measly 2.8% that looks so good means that HALF the money we’re spending every year – half a trillion dollars – is borrowed. It has never been that bad before.

The data in this jobs chart is likewise rendered meaningless because the data has been so heavily manipulated and redefined. As just one example, consider that full-time, good-paying jobs have been stagnant or decreased over this time. Most of the jobs that have expanded have been part-time jobs, and any full-time job increases are the result of a petroleum boom that has happened DESPITE the efforts of this administration. They still take credit for those, however.

This is a fun chart. Did you notice that wind producing countries, like the UK members, are not even listed on it? But nations who don’t bother with wind production, like China, and those who have given up on it because it’s not sustainable, like Spain, ARE shown? That’s pretty funny, Debbie!

This last tweet is actually my favorite, because it showcases the total lack of self-awareness that characterizes the modern Democrat, in general, and Debbie Wasserman-Schultz, in particular. What party, do you think, is infamous for demanding absolute internal discipline when it comes to NEVER criticizing one of their own, no matter how outrageously stupid and untruthful the statement? Hint: It’s not the Republicans. How about the efforts to impeach G.W. Bush by Congressional Democrats? Did any Democrats stand up to criticize Nancy Pelosi when she said “Bush is an incompetent leader. In fact, he’s not a leader…. He’s a person who has no judgment, no experience and no knowledge of the subjects that he has to decide upon.”? You stay classy, Debbie. And good luck in 2016.

Watch This Woman

Of all the quasi-governmental agencies wreaking havoc in the world, the very most dangerous, and most driven, may be the United Nations Framework Convention on Climate Change. This agency is chaired by a Costa Rican diplomat named Christiana Figueres who is getting a lot of attention recently for her extraordinary admission that “Climate Science” has very little to do with climate and everything to do with global economic control. She’s also gaining a lot of attention for being one of the most “visibly evil” looking people on the planet, in the words of blogger Dave Blount. See for yourself. But appearances aside, her group is gaining enormous momentum in its bid to reshape the economy of the World, which in case you’ve been living under a rock and need some ‘splaining, means destroying our economy, in particular. We need to keep an eye on her ‘progress.’

I note also that when you Google her name, you see an embarrassing graphic posted on some website called ‘PoliNation.’ She must hate that, but I really like those guys.

Are All Democrats ‘Irony-Retarded’?
Much has been made of the fact that President Obama’s Executive Amnesty adventure was most enthusiastically condemned by none other than himself. In months and years past, the President stated many times, publicly, that such an action would be illegal. Until, apparently, he changed his mind and signed such an order. That patently illegal action is very likely dead now that it’s been halted by a federal judge. Executive Amnesty is not the first occasion the present-day Barack Obama has found himself in stark disagreement with the younger Senator Obama. His miraculously changing views on the ethics of the federal deficit come to mind. But the President has nothing on other high-ranking Democrat Party officials, like former Chairman Howard Dean, who just recently came under fire for criticizing Wisconsin Governor Scott Walker’s credentials to run for President, because he has no college degree. It comes as no surprise to anyone that Dean has praised the credentials of plenty of Democrats who lacked much more than a college degree, some who lacked even a verifiable birth certificate. While this is merely a bit of hypocrisy, the result is ironic when, as Walker pointed out, we end up with Harvard-educated politicians who are still morons. Dean’s successor, Debbie Wassermann Schultz is likewise a legend for her rhetorical gymnastics and amusing contradictory positions.
But the current reigning champ of world-class irony-blindness has to be our Vice-President, Joe Biden, pictured below while still a US Senator and chairman of the Senate Judiciary Committee deliberating, in 1991, the nomination of Judge Clarence Thomas to the US Supreme Court. Those extremely painful hearings were responsible for putting the entire nation on high alert about sexual harassment in the workplace. Chairman Joe, at the time, was very comfortable establishing that the slightest action by a male co-worker that made a woman uncomfortable, even without any physical contact of any kind, should be dealt with in the harshest of ways.

Later in 1993, while still a senator, Joe said: “No man has a right to touch a woman without her consent, and that’s what we’ve got to get across.” Later, in 2000 while discussing the Violence Against Women Act, he said, according to the Washington Examiner:
“There is no circumstance under which a man has a right to touch a woman without her consent other than self-defense. We are changing the attitudes of America about what constitutes appropriate behavior on the part of a man with a woman.”
Since that time, Vice President Joe Biden has proven to be a man on a mission to disprove all that, and to perpetrate as much sexual discomfort on women as is possible for one man. Who can forget this?

Or this?

Or this?

And, how irony-retarded do you have to be to accuse Republicans of a “War on Women” while this is going on all over the world, and Democrats actively dismantle our ability to do anything about it?

How do Democrats respond to the subjugation of women under Islam? By excusing it, of course. Just when does a little irony-retardedness become a criminal act? I believe we’ve achieved that reality for some time now.

Meanwhile in Brussels

Truth Revolt – The United Nation’s top climate change official Christiana Figueres announced this week that the group is actively working to “intentionally transform” the world’s economic development model, a task she called the “most difficult” one the group has ever undertaken.
“This is probably the most difficult task we have ever given ourselves, which is to intentionally transform the economic development model, for the first time in human history,” UNFCCC Executive Secretary Figueres stated at a press conference in Brussels Tuesday.
Figueres is optimistic that a new international treaty, the so-called “Lima draft”—which she hopes will be adopted at climate change conference in Paris at the end of the year—will be yet another step to the “transformation” of the world’s economic model. The new treaty, she pointed out, was one of four parts of the process of economic reordering.
Ummmmmm. Is it just me, of are these guys not even hiding their evil plan for world domination any more? What does any of this really have to do with “climate?” And by the way, I didn’t alter the image of Ms. Figueres in the above graphic in any way. She really did look exactly like that, like Bride of Dr. Evil, as she talked about seizing total control of the World’s economy.

SI Cover Model Hannah Davis Defends Photo: “Not That Naughty”
Gruntington Post – Swimsuit model Hannah Davis just appeared on NBC’s Today Show with Matt Lauer to talk about her debut on the cover of Sports Illustrated Magazine. Because her cover photo has been controversial, NBC chose to cover part of the image with a large red ribbon in the graphic they showed to their TV audience. This prompted Ms. Davis to defend the photo as “not that naughty.”
Shortly after the appearance on the Today Show, Gruntington Post reporter Gruntessa of Monte Cristo was able to ask Ms. Davis a few questions off-camera in the NBC studios.
Gruntessa: “Ms. Davis, some have speculated that your cover shot was merely selected from some behind-the-scenes shots of you while you were changing outfits. After all, you don’t seem to be anywhere close to having your bikini bottoms pulled up over your lady business.”
Hannah Davis: “What? NO! I’m completely wearing that suit! It’s not uncommon to do a little peak-a-boo with the bottoms with thumbs hooked in the straps. Everybody’s doing it now. Really. It’s not that big a deal.”
Gruntessa: “But in this case, it’s clear that an extensive amount of photoshopping was necessary to extend ‘torso smoothness’ a good 6 inches below the point where it’s believable. I’m not even talking about waxing; there’s whole realms of topographical reality that got whitewashed here. Those bottoms were pretty much down around your ankles at that point. Did the tropical breeze make it hard to maintain focus? Did you catch cold?”
Hannah Davis: “Um. I think this interview is over. My body guard is an ex-TSA agent. You might be want to hurry along there.”
Gruntessa: “Thank you , Ms. Davis! I’ll let myself out!” *actual mic drop*

Day of Remembrance for our Lost Space Explorers
NASA Chief Administrator Charles Bolden, January 28, 2015:
Today we remember and give thanks for the lives and contributions of those who gave all trying to push the boundaries of human achievement. On this solemn occasion, we pause in our normal routines and remember the STS-107 Columbia crew; the STS-51L Challenger crew; the Apollo 1 crew; Mike Adams, the first in-flight fatality of the space program as he piloted the X-15 No. 3 on a research flight; and those lost in test flights and aeronautics research throughout our history.

Surprise! – The SUN Masterfully Punks UK Feminists on Page 3
I can’t put it any better than the Stoat Weasel did this morning: (Sweasel.com is the blog of an American woman ex-patriot living in darkest England. Uncle B is her husband. I think. Bowdlerization by Grunt)
Oh, well played, Rupert Murdoch’s Sun. Well played.
To be fair, they didn’t actually say they were shutting down Page 3, but they strongly suggested such. Then they went all modest (if underthings and bikinis can be called modest) for a couple of days. And now, the [boobies] are back!
It’s been dee-lightful to watch this play out all day.
First the howling shrews of the Perpetually Offended Brigade were all like WE WON! And then they were all like, we won, I guess, but it doesn’t feel that satisfying, really. And now they’re all like WTF! WE DIDN’T WIN!?
The sweetest part? Today’s [boobies] ran under the headline CLARIFICATIONS AND CORRECTIONS. I wouldn’t have realized this if Uncle B hadn’t told me: that’s the header from the ultra-lefty Guardian‘s correction column.
Read more at the Weasel Times. Or go here to the SUN’s “Clarifications” page.
