Out of every national tragedy there are always those who go above and beyond in committing acts of individual heroism. Just as assuredly, there are those who seek personal or political gain from the pain of others, like maggots on road kill.

Never Forget

Sixteen years ago, just a blink in the millennia of time, but a day that changed many of us forever. We’d never heard of Usama Bin Laden or Al Quaeda. Our intelligence agencies knew who was behind it almost instantaneously, but had done nothing. Imagine if George W. Bush had taken the measures necessary to stop these Muslim scum from boarding a plane. It would have given the media yet another excuse to heap raw sewage on the man they never forgave for foiling their blatant attempt to steal a presidential election. After the slaughter of 3,000 Americans, they pretended to put the country ahead of politics for almost a week before the antagonism began anew.

When the BP oil spill happened, he refused to suspend the Wilson Act, which would have allowed ships under foreign flags to enter American waters with the equipment and experience to keep the oil slick from reaching landfall. He steadfastly refused to grant the Gulf governors permission to do ANYTHING for TWO LONG MONTHS until it made landfall and destroyed hundreds of businesses and put thousands out of work. He did this to have an excuse to declare a moratorium on oil exploration in the region.

Deadly ice storms in Kentucky… tornadoes in Oklahoma and Missouri… nothing. Not even a mention. Those states didn’t vote for him, so to hell with them. Superstorm Sandy was nothing for him but an opportunity to be seen with Governor Krispy Kreme, strictly for P.R. After Katrina he concentrated his efforts on defending Ray “School Bus” Nagin for his felony incompetence handling the disaster that befell New Orleans. Thousands fled to Houston, where some are likely still in those FEMA trailers. Such are the results of electing a myth, someone’s fantasy of a man who was the most completely unqualified to do anything in modern history. The tragedy is he’ll never go away and the media whores will never speak what they know is true about him.

At least 32 looters are arrested across Florida during Irma crime spree

Thieves prompt SWAT standoff after robbing a store for GUNS while others are caught on camera breaking into a sports shop.

Two groups of looters were caught on camera Sunday ransacking two separate sporting goods stores in hurricane-hit South Florida.

At least eight people were filmed by an ABC crew breaking into Simon’s Sportswear in Fort Lauderdale, Florida.

In midtown Miami, a local reporter watched as at least a dozen looters undertook what appeared to be a well-coordinated theft of a sporting goods shop.  No one in either group has been identified.

A Broward County sheriff’s deputy shot a teenager and arrested another after they allegedly broke in to a home in the affluent suburb of Weston.

Fort Lauderdale police announced the arrest of two 28-year-old men who are alleged to have broken into six homes late Saturday night.

A utility company near Orlando is reporting that residents are complaining of looters posing as utility workers who rob homeowners at gunpoint.

The Object of War

The object of war is to kill people and break things.
Barack Obama was no more qualified to lead fighting men than I would be to be in a Miss America pageant. He hated the troops, as most democrats do. Personal hubris and an overinflated ego would not permit him to listen to the military people who have actually faced live fire. He thought he was the smartest person in any room he walked into. Turning our military into a social justice experiment cost many good people their lives. When soldiers were prosecuted for doing their jobs it makes them hesitate before pulling a trigger. That can get them killed, just the same as the policemen Obama also despised.
Others can confirm more positively than I how grateful our forces were when Trump was elected. He was a business man and not a politician. He was also smart enough to listen to the generals he chose to lead. He wants to win. Afghanistan has become a mess, much like Iraq became after Obama announced he was running away, wasting billions of taxpayer dollars and thousands of lives, and handing the country over to the bloody bastards from ISIS, which he seemed to have much adoration for.
Trump went before the nation yesterday and made it perfectly clear what our goal was.

I’m glad the professor freely admits that transgenders are disabled. This allows me to skip the first obvious point, so I can move on to the other two obvious points.

I.e., the Nazi eugenics program involved MURDERING disabled people, while Trump merely says (correctly) that they do not belong in the military where it MATTERS that all the bodies be as close to perfect as possible.

But, please, dear professor, continue talking.  I’m sure other parents would benefit from learning what kind of “education” their kids would get at Clemson.

Washington creates the Purple Heart

On this day in 1782, in Newburgh, New York, General George Washington, the commander in chief of the Continental Army, creates the “Badge for Military Merit,” a decoration consisting of a purple, heart-shaped piece of silk, edged with a narrow binding of silver, with the word Merit stitched across the face in silver. The badge was to be presented to soldiers for “any singularly meritorious action” and permitted its wearer to pass guards and sentinels without challenge. The honoree’s name and regiment were also to be inscribed in a “Book of Merit.”
Washington’s “Purple Heart” was awarded to only three known soldiers during the Revolutionary War: Elijah Churchill, William Brown and Daniel Bissell, Jr. The “Book of Merit” was lost, and the decoration was largely forgotten until 1927, when General Charles P. Summerall, the U.S. Army chief of staff, sent an unsuccessful draft bill to Congress to “revive the Badge of Military Merit.” In 1931, Summerall’s successor, General Douglas MacArthur, took up the cause, hoping to reinstate the medal in time for the bicentennial of George Washington’s birth. On February 22, 1932, Washington’s 200th birthday, the U.S. War Department announced the creation of the “Order of the Purple Heart.”

For more than two centuries our fighting forces have defended our country, often at the cost of a limb or a life.The purple heart is a meager token awarded for their sacrifice. Almost every one of them earned it.

In his book,”Unfit for Command” Lee Corsi documented the extreme cowardice, showmanship, and treachery of the 2004 democrat nominee for president and current climate change whack job John Forbes Kerry. He volunteered for service in Vietnam because ‘it would look good on his political resume.’ Those who served with him knew what an unmitigated fraud he was and remains to this day. They are the Swift Boat veterans that the media did their best to minimize but couldn’t, since THEY WERE THERE!
The book documents how he wrangled three Purple hearts in the short span of four months and slithered out of the service to testify at the infamous ‘Winter Soldier’ hearings and sell out the brave men he’d just run away from. One award was scooped up when he threw a grenade into a pile of rice bags and got some rice kernels in his ass. Testimony from a medic who treated him in another event said he had a tiny wooden sliver in his finger that he had to hold to keep it from falling out on its own. He had a cameraman follow him everywhere he went to record his many acts of heroism. Folks in Massachusetts nicknamed him “Liveshot.”
The only thing he ever did well was marry rich women and behave like the arrogant overbearing buffoon that he is. Being a liar and a fraud is part of being a democrat. What really galls me is how he abused the system and cheapened an award that is meant to honor those who have given a measure of themselves to serve. For that he will never be forgiven by those who know the truth.

THE FACT WE NOW HAVE A PRESIDENT WHO VALUES OUR WARRIORS’ SACRIFICE AND GIVES THEM THE FULL-THROATED SUPPORT THEY DESERVE IS A FACT I THANK ALMIGHTY GOD FOR EVERY DAY.

That is the estimate for the cost of the “transgender” military policy begun under Obama, accordign to a paper by Family Research Council.

CHRONIC FATIGUE SYNDROME: Researchers at the Stanford University School of Medicine have linked chronic fatigue syndrome to variations in 17 immune-system signaling proteins, or cytokines, whose concentrations in the blood correlate with the disease’s severity.

The findings provide evidence that inflammation is a powerful driver of this mysterious condition, whose underpinnings have eluded researchers for 35 years.

“There’s been a great deal of controversy and confusion surrounding ME/CFS — even whether it is an actual disease,” said Davis. “Our findings show clearly that it’s an inflammatory disease and provide a solid basis for a diagnostic blood test.”

Trans in military

A survey that asked, “Have you ever been a member of the armed forces?” received 6,546 “valid responses.” From that, the National Gay and Lesbian Task Force and the National Center for Transgender Equality inexplicably concluded that “approximately 15,500 transgender individuals are serving on active duty or in the Guard or Reserve forces.” IOW, 1.2 percent.

Another study, one that was sponsored by the military, estimated that “the number of transgender individuals currently serving in the active component of the U.S. military at between 1,320 and 6,630 out of a total of about 1.3 million service members.” IOW, between 0.1 and 0.5 percent.

The first number makes no sense, given that the estimated trans population in America is only around 0.3 percent.

I’m inclined to believe in the lowest end of the estimates. For one thing, the highest figure for active duty was inappropriately extrapolated from a sample that included any past service. For another, I just find it difficult to believe that the average transsexual would want the military life.

All That Matters

I absolutely 100% support President Trump’s recent announcement that trannies will be banned from military service. Period.

I tried to enlist in the Army once upon a long time ago. I never got past the first interview, because I needed allergy shots. The recruiter said a soldier who needed shots just to function was a liability in a war zone. I thought it was a very fair point.

And I thought of it again when my uniformed kids who qualified got free laser surgery.  So when the Obama administration got all fuzzy-wuzzy about trannies in the military, I was appalled.

The idea that taxpayers should foot the huge bill for all the counseling, hormones, surgery, and down time for a soldier to change genders made zero sense to me. Plus, they need hormone treatments daily! I just needed an allergy shot every other week. Sheesh.

As for the trannies who say they have been or are in the military … the nation does NOT owe you a military career.  If you’re such an overwhelmingly super duper asset that some CO is willing to put up with your gender issues, then God bless you.  Otherwise, you can and should be replaced.

When I spent 9 days in the hospital it was discovered I had severe sleep apnea. I knew there was something wrong for years but I didn’t have the medical coverage to get tested for it. Having had a quadruple bypass in 2004, I was in the cardio unit and hooked up to an EKG. It was discovered that the reason I would suffer periodic blackouts was that my heart would literally stop for from 2-8 seconds. I use a VPAP (different from a CPAP) machine now and cannot sleep without it. It is difficult for me to go more than a few hours without sleep. As such, I spend a large part of the day sleeping and have trouble sleeping at night. Such was the case today, so I figured I’d get an early start on the babbling.

It is no secret that the democrats loathe the military and sometimes go out of their way to harm them. CtH has stated here that those serving, like her warriors, were miserable under the dictates of Barack H. Obama. The mightiest fighting force in the world was reduced to an insipid social experiment. All that ended today and the results were predictable. Unlike his predecessor, Trump LISTENS to the generals who conduct the actual operations.

Just 23 Percent Of Voters Say Trans Enlistment Is Good For The Military
A Rasmussen survey taken last month found that just 23 percent of likely voters think the decision to allow openly transgender people to serve — a decision made by the Obama administration — is good for the military. Just under one-third of likely voters — 31 percent — think it’s bad for the military to allow openly transgender soldiers to serve, while another 38 percent thought it would have no impact.
President Trump defended the ban on the grounds that military policies should be oriented towards what’s best for winning wars.
“Our military must be focused on decisive and overwhelming victory and cannot be burdened with the tremendous medical costs and disruption that transgender in the military would entail,” he explained on Twitter Wednesday morning.

Combat Veteran: War Is No Place For The Gender Confused
In a tweet series, Salzman recounted his experiences in Iraq in 2006, when he was stationed at an isolated firebase in the blazing heat and experienced constant stress from the intense nature of his job.
“Everyday was Groundhog Day,” Salzman tweeted. “Wake up and do the same patrols, the same shifts, every single day. It was so damn hot. 150° in the gun trucks.”
“The stress of being out there and doing the same job every single day eats away at you,” Salzman said. “The younger guys had problems with that overtime.”
