They’re on notice

Read/print/download Bauer Letter @ http://www.wnd.com/files/2012/09/BauerLetter.pdf

The referenced letter is from Larry Klayman to Robert Bauer explaining why Democrat Party or state elections officials who certify Obama’s eligibility for the 2012 election could become the targets of election-fraud charges.

Klayman is a former U.S. Justice Department attorney who founded the government watchdog Judicial Watch and later Freedom Watch. Bauer is the General Counsel to the Democratic National Committee.

The letter details how said officials cannot certify Obama’s eligibility for sure and that the law doesn’t allow them to make assumptions.

Copies went to the Democratic National Committee Executive Committee, Nancy Pelosi, State Democratic Party Chairs, State Secretaries of State, State Attorneys General, and the Commission on Presidential Debates.

I’ve been waiting for this!

Actor John Cusack:

Obama accepted the Nobel Peace Prize while sending 30,000 more troops to a ten-year-old conflict. Why? We’ll never fully know.

Under Obama do we continue to call the thousands of mercenaries in Afghanistan “general contractors” now that Bush is gone? No, we don’t talk about them… not a story anymore.

Do we prosecute felonies like torture or spying on Americans? No, time to “move on.”

Drones bomb Pakistani villages across the border at an unprecedented rate. Is it legal? Does anyone care?

The American dream, home ownership, education, the opportunity to get a good job if you applied yourself … and on and on. Yeah, what happened to that? It’s gone.

I don’t know how to bring myself to vote for a constitutional law professor, or even a constitutional realist, who throws away due process and claims the authority that the executive branch can assassinate American citizens. I just don’t know if I can bring myself to do it.

If you want to make a protest vote against Romney, go ahead, but I would think we’d be better putting our energies into local and state politics — occupy Wall Street and organizations and movements outside the system, not national politics, not personalities. Not stadium rock politics. Not brands.

Source: The above is from “Interview with Law Professor Jonathan Turley About Obama Administration’s War On the Constitution” by John Cusack – Aug 20, 2012. I added the emphasis. I disagree with just about every political position Cusack stated in his article. You’d think someone so far left of center would be firmly in Obama’s base. Not any more! Media: Obama is egotistical, selfish, dull – Sep 3, 2012

http://www.politico.com/news/stories/0912/80598.html

Excerpts: As the Democratic National Convention gets under way, five major media outlets lobbed high-profile bombs at Obama.

  • The New York Times ran a front-page piece Monday with the unmistakable subtext that Obama is a hyper-competitive egotist who often is not as good as he thinks he is.
  • The Washington Post noted the continued controversy over Obama’s “you didn’t build that” line, and how the clumsy remark continues to leave him vulnerable to criticism that he doesn’t understand free enterprise.
  • The Huffington Post argued that, for all his promises of a new kind of politics, Obama has “played the same old game.”
  • The Wall Street Journal weighed in with a piece that portrayed Obama as stingy with fundraising — and vocal support — for fellow Democratic candidates. “We really do believe a high tide raises all boats,” Obama campaign manager Jim Messina told the Journal, explaining how Obama’s success would help others win.
  • And POLITICO landed with an against-the-grain portrait of Obama as a conventional president — “relentlessly familiar” in his governing style, politically uncreative and culturally uninspiring.

The convergence of skeptical pieces, all of which suggest Obama has failed to live up to the mythic expectations he set for himself in 2008, signal that Obama may be facing unprecedented media headwinds just as the nation’s voters are really tuning in to the 2012 campaign.

Elizabeth Warren DNC speech: Charlotte star, Massachusetts underdog – Sep 3, 2012

http://www.politico.com/news/stories/0912/80607.html

Excerpt: Elizabeth Warren will take the stage in Charlotte on Wednesday night feted as one of the Democratic Party’s brightest stars, a heroine of the progressive left and potential presidential material. Back in Massachusetts, to the amazement of many in her party, Warren enters the fall home stretch against Republican Sen. Scott Brown behind in polls, trailing among independents and even failing to lock down her own party.

I think this is a very appropriate Labor Day tribute to the Laziest President Ever.

Found funny political book in kids’ section!

I like to read what my grandkids are reading, but Madam President by Lane Smith took me by surprise. It appears to be a cute picture book about a little girl who imagines what it’s like to be president. Page one isn’t remarkable; she’s in bed reading a book called The Presidents and saying, “A president has many duties.”

But pages two and three made me laugh out loud. First, “there are executive orders to give”; she’s sitting at the breakfast table saying, “More waffles, please.” Then there are “daily briefs to review”; she’s brushing her teeth while looking over her schedule for the day. “Waffles” is checked off. As she leaves for school with her brown bag lunch, it says, “one lunch to approve.”

Come on!!!!!!!!!!!!! ROFLLL … I quick checked the publication date. 2008. Then I noticed the outfit the girl wears looks a WHOLE lot like the see-through number Barbra Streisand shocked viewers with on Oscar night umpteen years ago.

In November 2007, Hillary Clinton countered Barack Obama’s big Oprah coup by trotting out her own legendary diva, Barbra Streisand. “Madame President of the United States,” Barbra mused. “It’s an extraordinary thought. We truly are in a momentous time, where a woman’s potential has no limitations.” In June 2008, Barbra (who had been a guest at the Clinton White House) jumped ship and started fundraising for Obama.

Page four, with the president’s disdainful use of the military for a photo op, just confirmed my suspicion that the author-illustrator was an ardent Hillary supporter who was totally p.o.d about how she got treated in 2008.

Another clue shows up on the cabinet page, where all the toys playing the roles are things you’d find in a kids’ room … except Texas. Texas? And it’s not like the author couldn’t have come up with a normal toy for Secretary of State. The Secretary of the Interior is really clever … one of those Visible Man model kits, where you can see all the bones and organs inside.

If I still had the slightest lingering doubt about what this book was really all about (which I didn’t), this page would’ve killed it.

I can’t help wondering if he has a CLUE why the troops don’t like him. This video is called “out of touch” but I think that is a gross understatement.

President Sandman

Matthew 7:24-27 – Therefore everyone who hears these words of mine and puts them into practice is like a wise man who built his house on the rock. The rain came down, the streams rose, and the winds blew and beat against that house; yet it did not fall, because it had its foundation on the rock. But everyone who hears these words of mine and does not put them into practice is like a foolish man who built his house on sand. The rain came down, the streams rose, and the winds blew and beat against that house, and it fell with a great crash.

Obama sent form letters to bereaved military families

Words fail me. He uses them for campaign props and takes credit for their achievements. But he’s too damn lazy to even sign bereavement letters to their families with his own damn pen? This makes me want to vomit. Literally. I can taste the bile.

During his time in office, President Bush sent personal letters to the families of every one of the more than 4,000 troops who died in Iraq and Afghanistan. He met privately with more than 500 families of troops killed in action and spent personal time with more than 950 wounded veterans.

After the Fort Hood shooting, while the sitting Commander-in-Chief and his wife kicked back at Camp David, George and Laura went to Ford Hood and met privately with the wounded and bereaved. There were no reporters. No look at us moments. The only reason we know is because some of the folks they met with chose to share their photos on the internet.
