The difference in this election

The Democrat rant is “Romney and Ryan want to change Medicare as we know it!” As if that would be a Very Bad Thing! But we only have eleven more years before Medicare is bankrupt.

In my opinion, the truly Very Bad Thing is what Democrats are doing and plan to continue doing, which is to steal from Medicare-as-it-is and so hasten its demise and thereby push even more Americans into a single, one-size-fits-nobody, nationalized health plan.

Obama’s Campaign of Lies Reaches Despicable Low – August 8, 2012

http://news.investors.com/article/621512/201208081856/obama-has-no-shame-.htm

Unable to run on his record, President Hope-and-Change has built a campaign based entirely on lies about Mitt Romney.

The latest reaches a historic, despicable low.

A new Obama ad features a man named Joe Soptic claiming that Mitt Romney killed his wife.

The basis for his argument is that after Bain Capital closed his steel plant, Soptic lost his job and his insurance, and then his wife died of cancer.

Even it any of this were true, trying to blame Romney for his wife’s death defies credulity.

But it isn’t true.

1999: Romney left Bain in February to take over the Olympics.

2001: Bain closed the steel plant and Joe Soptic lost his job. Soptic’s wife still had her own job WITH INSURANCE at that time. She only lost her coverage LATER when she left that job.

2006: Soptic’s wife’s cancer was symptom-free and only discovered when she was hospitalized for pneumonia.

Even Obama-philes are rolling their eyes over this “Romney killed my wife” ad. CNN’s Wolf Blitzer called it “pretty outrageous” and HuffPo’s Sam Stein said it went “too far.”

The Obama campaign has refused to denounce the ad.

But why should Obama stop the lies when most in the press won’t call him on it and repeating lies keeps the focus on Romney and off Obama’s dreadful record as president?

Hope and Change be damned. Obama is nothing more nor less than an utterly shameless politician who will do or say anything to keep his job.

THE THURSDAY GRUDGE

Posted by Pistol Pete

I was down to my very last nerve yesterday and its still badly frayed.Hopefully you guys can come up with some different links because I’m going to concentrate on just a few.Lots of videos and some ranting too.

I was watching Fox and they had on Andrea Saul, representing the Romney campaign. They played that awful ad and her remark was if they’d lived in Massachusetts they’d have had healthcare.I came out of my chair literally screaming,”WHAT THE F#*$% ARE YOU DOING??YOU’RE BLOWING IT!!!

DW rushed in fearing I was going into cardiac arrest.Mitt better wake up and realize he’s not in Massachusetts anymore. You don’t compromise with these people. This bastard thrives when he’s in the middle of a slash-and-burn campaign, the dirtier the better. If Romney keeps throwing jabs Obama’s character assassins will cut him to pieces with straight razors while the media cheers them on.This campaign is supposed to be about Obummer’s record, but thats hard to do when only one side plays by the rules. We saw how that worked out with McLame.By the way,it turns out Saul came from the McCain campaign. If that’s the kind of people he has working for him,it doesn’t look too good.

Later on Hannity,Ann Coulter was on and she saw exactly what I did.I’m posting video in the reply section. She was fuming!

Then I saw another clip on Steponme Cutter, who was on CNN smugly grinning and denying the White Hut had anything to do with Joe Septic and Priorites USA .”That would be illegal,” she smiled. An audio clip was unearthed from a few months ago where she had a teleconference call with the same union hack.I went to bed numb, hoping for a better tomorrow. This day really stunk.

Barack Obama and his cronies in the Democratic Party, in the big unions and in the mainstream media are evil.

Period.

Real Men pick up the check

A city spokesman said local taxpayers shouldn’t have to subsidize the cost of an event that is purely for fundraising and is not open to the public except for payment. If the Obama bill continues to be unpaid, they will send it to an outside contractor for collections.

President Narcissus

Not only did thousands of ordinary citizens get shut out of a public park on a hot August day, but the nearby town of Westport is expecting they’ll get stuck for all the extra overtime required to protect the fifty swanky guests coming to the fundraiser.

Not even in the same ball park

Remember yesterday’s “dorky poll” that I showed was badly skewed?

August 2, 2012: Pew “If the election were today” poll of Registered Voters

Obama 51% vs. Romney 41% vs. Not Reported 8%

http://www.people-press.org/2012/08/02/romneys-personal-image-remains-negative/

Compare it with this one.

Friday, August 3, 2012: Rasmussen “If the election were today” poll of Likely Voters

Romney 47% vs. Obama 43% vs. Other 5% vs. Undecided 5%

http://www.rasmussenreports.com/public_content/politics/obama_administration/daily_presidential_tracking_poll

These polls both have MOEs in the 3-4 point range. Let’s just suppose both are off by the maximum.

Pew: Obama + 10 becomes Obama +6

Rasmussen: Romney +4 becomes Tied.

They’re not even in the same ballpark. Obviously, I think Rasmussen is closer to the truth.
