  • 2008: Candidate Obama promised he would take no vacations if he was elected.

  • 2015: President Obama has spent more than $70 million taxpayer dollars on vacations.

ONE example: On July 18, 2015, Obama and his daughters took Air Force One to New York for an outing. The plane trip alone cost taxpayers $309,000. The additional costs for security are classified, so we can’t know what that added to the total bill.

NEXT YEAR, he plans to travel the globe to … get this … BRAG about his foreign policy “successes.” Not promote peace or whatever else … just brag. Or probably to be more accurate … to cram in every minute of taxpayer-funded, narcissistic pleasure he can before he’s forced to move out of the White House.

I suppose I’d be weeping tears of joy too if I had managed to secure an agreement that extorts billions of dollars from the United States of America. Especially when the representatives from the United States were so eager to be extorted.

That sucking sound you’re hearing? It’s your hard-earned money being drained from your pocket and sent overseas to countries “impacted by Climate Change.”

Unlike the San Bernardino terror attack, where President Obama waited five days to address the nation, Barry tripped all over himself to make a speech about this “historic” and ultimately useless pact.

“Today, thanks to strong, principled, American leadership, that’s the world that we’ll leave to our children — a world that is safer and more secure, more prosperous, and more free. And that is our most important mission in our short time here on this Earth.”

No pact cobbled together in Paris will ever alter the weather any more than the Kellogg-Briand Pact managed to alter humankind into being pacifist and tame as fluffy bunnies.

Since the creation of man, there have been those who sought to be as gods. Those who presumed that there is no greater being than man. Therefore, man is capable of altering creation because there is no Creator, no God, no Eternal. Only man.

It is the height of hubris.

This poetic verse could well serve as an accurate description of the apparent scientific absurdity associated with the climate alarmist movement of today. A case in point is illustrated in negotiations currently wrapping up at the United Nations climate conference in Paris (COP21), where despite much data and many observations to the contrary, delegates are holding fast to the assertion that human emissions of carbon dioxide are causing dangerous climate change.

Even Greenies Admit Paris Climate Talks Were A Total Waste Of Time

No binding commitments have been made; all the countries in the world (apart from Britain) are free to emit as much carbon dioxide as they choose; the only thing everyone has agreed on is that they really, really care about global CO2 levels and that one day, maybe tomorrow, maybe mañana, they might do something about it. In other words, the 150 leaders and 40,000 delegates really would have been better off staying at home.

That’s the pessimistic view.

The more optimistic view is that it was worth it just so we could all enjoy the wailings and lamentations of disappointed greenies, throwing their toys out of the pram.

James Hansen is a former NASA scientist who testified to Congress back in 1988 about global warming being caused by a greenhouse effect. He is considered one of the leading experts on the matter and has become a strong activist attempting to push for the world to address the issue head-on. One of the stipulations in the deal is setting a target that the global temperature increase does not exceed 2 degrees Celsius.

We need serious people for serious problems

Stilton Jarlsberg had a thoughtful commentary about finding the middle ground between Obama’s head in the sand policies and the exploding head diatribes of Donald Trump.

“There is room – and necessity – for our nation to find the middle ground between Barack Hussein Obama’s denials and Donald Trump’s bellicose bombast. It is time – indeed, well past time – for all of this to be dealt with seriously, by serious people.

“A personal sidebar: today, I had lunch in a McDonald’s which is very near a large mosque in our neighborhood. It wasn’t crowded inside, and I took note of the other people who were there. The staffers behind the counter were happily speaking to each other in Spanish. A woman wearing a headscarf was eating and looking at a video on her computer (I admit it – I looked to see if it was a “how to” on building “clocks,” but it appeared to be a soap opera). Nearby, two Asian men chatted in what I presume was Chinese. And the McDonald’s itself was nicely decorated for Christmas (by name) and, despite being next door to a mosque, advertising the distinctly non-Halal McRib.

“As we were leaving, I held the door for a young mother wearing a head scarf as she entered while Mrs. Jarlsberg helped guide the woman’s baby stroller through the door. The woman smiled and thanked us.

“There’s no big punchline to this story, other than that everyone was getting along just fine. At a McDonald’s. And it made me wish that we could all take a deep breath and turn down the nonsensical rhetoric a bit on both sides. Not closing our eyes to very real dangers; just remembering that keeping our eyes open should have rewards which go beyond surveillance.”

Without them, he’d be just a community-organizing Chicago street hustler with a white education. He is a rare case of someone who has had everything in life handed to him through the sacrifice of others while he has done virtually nothing but reap the benefits. He has shown his gratitude to everyone who sacrificed for him by turning and farting in their faces… with one exception: his Iranian-born Rasputin, committed muslim and slumlord, Valerie Jarrett.

His army of media whores fell passionately in love with him when he read the keynote speech at the Democrat convention in 2004. I hadn’t seen a reaction to a speech like that since David Brinkley fairly shot a wad in his trousers over Mario Cuomo’s speech at a similar venue years earlier. The media whores hoisted the young biracial Kenyan posing as an American on their shoulders and carried him to the presidency, never allowing anyone to broadcast any hint of what and who he really was.
The Republican nominee even accomodated him by turning on his own VP running mate and allowing him to walk into the presidency where the palace guards stood, protecting him from any criticism whatever.

But all the media could not save him from losing first the House, then four years later the Senate, as the concerned citizens of America watched him ignore the constitution and set himself up as the arbiter of all things.

They helped him get reelected by savaging anyone they deemed a real threat to his power. Vote-rigging and blatant fraud also helped. The nanosecond he won the office for the second time he dropped what little facade he ever showed of caring about anything but his own authority and the benefits of the office.

It was hardly noticeable at first, but eventually some of his devotees started criticizing his ham-handed way of ruling what he saw as his serfdom. Now, even Mr. “tingle up my leg” Matthews and “kind of like a god” Thomas can be a little critical. It seems like a lover who no longer has much interest and is eyeing another to enter into an intimate relationship. Still, they are a possessive lover who will protect their old flame as long as it suits their cause.

After the disastrous address he read from the Oval Office, they felt free to say some negative things about their old flame, as if most of the country hadn’t had the revelation long ago.

Egyptian TV’s Ahmed Moussa gave a blistering rant aimed at Obama for being an ally of terrorists, calling him a liar and saying he should be put on trial and then executed by being forced to sit on an impalement rod. Yikes!

He points out that his beef is not with the American people, who he says are very respectful, but with Obama who said just days before the San Bernardino terrorist attack that there is no threat to American citizens. He called Obama a liar again and said that all allies of terrorism are liars.

So I better get some stuff posted. Obviously, most folks are talking about Barry’s pathetic little blurb last night. Anybody figured out who these “muslim sports heroes” he talked about were? Notice how quick he was to point out that, yes, these two savages were terrorists, but that doesn’t apply to other camel jockeys. It only applies to conservatives and the NRA when some wacko decides to raise some hell. If it weren’t for double standards the left would have no standards at all.

Is it any wonder that so many Americans believe Obama is a Muslim when he goes on and on defending Islam in the face of all the evidence and facts that Islam is the motivating force – the common denominator in one terrorist attack after another? When you have to spend that much time trying to convince everyone that what you see, hear and experience is not the case – it is probably not reality.

At any rate, this was your expected Obama speech: Admit no fault, defend Islam, push Gun Control, and lecture everyone on how they should think, speak and act. This tired act has just over one year left and it cannot pass fast enough. We are so over Barack Obama. The “Hope and Change” – “Obama’s gonna change it” nonsense of 2007-2008 has shown itself to be exactly that – nonsense that brought a completely unqualified Leftist Radical to power. He has made a mess of everything he has touched. A total disaster.

NOTE: Did you notice Obama couldn’t even sit at his Oval Office desk and make a normal speech? He had to have a lectern set up in front of his desk so he could use his usual, favorite teleprompters. What. A. Complete. Joke.

On Sunday evening, literally minutes after Obama’s speech, Housley expanded on that reporting, noting that agents had found “significant tips” about the “international connection possibly to training as well as money.” There was, he said, a “digital footprint” and “significant evidence with regards to the money train.”

The president attended a White House reception at 5 p.m. for Honorees Carole King, George Lucas, Seiji Ozawa, Cicely Tyson and Rita Moreno. After his 8 p.m. address, he is expected to go to the arts center for the remainder of the show. First Lady Michelle Obama will attend the Honors performance as planned. The show will be broadcast on CBS on Dec. 29.

Just to make sure everyone knows where the battle lines are drawn, Attorney General Loretta Lynch went before a Muslim group to announce that she now intends to prosecute anyone who voices anti-Muslim opinions which “edge toward violence,” whatever the heck that means.

But apparently, calls for violence are still peachy keen and totally legal as long as the persons making those calls are of the same race and political disposition as the president and his legal toady.

How else to explain the fact that Nation of Islam leader Louis Farrakhan isn’t on Lynch’s radar for his frequent exhortations that white people need to die? And remember the black marchers following Al “Freddie’s Fashion Mart” Sharpton who chanted, “What do we want? DEAD COPS! When do we want them? NOW!” Days later, two officers were shot to death in their patrol car by a man who had said that this kind of anti-cop rhetoric was his inspiration.

But is Lynch prosecuting any of those people? Absolutely not. Rather, she’s just announced that she’s kicking off a big investigation to prosecute Irving school officials and police officers who believed “See something, Say something” was a good idea when Ahmed the Suspicious Timing Device Maker flashed his “invention” all over a school then refused to talk about it.

Obama Preparing Oval Office Address in Response to Islamic State

Obama has only delivered two other televised Oval Office addresses during his presidency. In June 2010, he delivered a speech detailing the national response to the Gulf of Mexico oil spill in response to weeks of negative press coverage of his handling of the situation. In August 2010, he delivered an address to signal the end of U.S. combat operations in Iraq.

Obama will also talk about his “firm conviction” that the Islamic State will be destroyed and how Americans must hold true to their values in order to prevail over terrorism, according to the White House.

What the left will never understand is that many gun owners are veterans and many others feel this is a right secured by previous generations and will sell their liberty at a dear price. I just wonder if Obama or Clinton would send SWAT teams door-to-door to try to confiscate legally-owned firearms. It is unthinkable that they would even consider such action, but then we’re talking about Obama.

I still refuse to believe Trump will be the Republican nominee. It will either be Rubio or Cruz. Trump will run as a third party candidate just to sat his immense ego. He is a publicity whore and an opportunist, but he can play on peoples’ emotions simply because he doesn’t owe anybody anything.

President Obama already has all the laws he needs to put a stop to most gun crime. He doesn’t care, because the Left’s “gun control” agenda is not about making us safer. It is about destroying our ability to prevent the American government from becoming a dictatorship.
