Shams is a very brave woman who has already been called a traitor to the Arab people many times for her views. In this video, the interviewer insists that the USA and UK can be no better, and that we “caused the catastrophes of the (Arab) peoples.” She points out that Arabs have been slaughtering each other for 1400 years. America has been around for less than 300. How is it that we are responsible for all their catastrophes? The lady makes a good point. I hope she survives the next few months. PLUMBING THE JOURNALISTIC SEWER
You’ve probably heard about it by now. You may have even seen parts of it. Last night’s debate was as pathetic a display of moderator arrogance and outright venality as has ever been my fortune to witness. I don’t even think they had everything planned, it’s just when they started they couldn’t help themselves. I may do a separate post with the entire debacle broken down into pieces. The view from high atop Obama’s nose
During a discussion with a Christian author, President Obama asked, “How do you reconcile the idea of faith being really important to you and you caring a lot about taking faith seriously with the fact that, at least in our democracy and our civic discourse, it seems as if folks who take religion the most seriously sometimes are also those who are suspicious of those not like them?”
The author, who clearly knows that opening up God’s saving love to all mankind (not just Jews) was at the heart of Jesus’ ministry and mission, correctly replied that those “turning in on themselves — and God knows, arming themselves” against an “imagined other,” are not “taking their Christianity seriously.”
Not much has changed in Obama’s attitude toward “those not like [him]”, has it? In 2008, he famously dismissed small town, right-wing Christians as xenophobic bigots too.
This is rich coming from a man who has spent his entire presidency advancing the spread of xenophobic, bigoted, Muslim terrorists.
One can also see how famously open-minded and loving Obama’s followers are towards those who oppose abortion and gay marriage. Ditto anyone who supports the Constitution and restrained government. Ditto anyone who supports the right of Israel to exist in peace. Ditto anyone who supports any political candidate who isn’t like Obama. I don’t really need /sarc tags here, right?
Oh wait. Doesn’t that mean that Obama is a bigot and a xenophobe? The fact is that Obama’s lassez-faire attitude only applies to sin.
If God hates it, Obama is all for it.
This is not surprising coming from someone for whom “god” is a concept rather than a foundational absolute, a haloed reflection of his own image rather than the great I AM who created all that is.
Does Obama even listen to his verbal content, or are his mellifluous tones sufficient to lull him into a self-congratulatory trance?

Vox: Medical Tests Prove Barack Obama DNA “No More Than 12.5% Pussy” Despite Putin’s Claim
Vox [Gruntington Post Parody] – Wild claims by Russian President Vladimir Putin, who stated on Russian TV that Obama was “100% pussy,” have been disproven by hard science.
Medical tests using a DNA sample voluntarily surrendered by the President, were processed by the George Washington University Hospital, and the results were published on the WhiteHouse.gov website as a PDF file image showing text in various incongruous fonts assembled haphazardly on a green, official-looking background, just like the previous versions of President Obama’s very convincing birth certificates.
The results, signed off by GWU senior research scientist, R.U. Cirrus, indicated that the President was “almost completely human,” with a break-down including East African, Southeast Asian, Irish-German Communist and a curious trace heritage of Chicago alley-cat, “probably Sphinx-tabby mutt.”
Several anti-science Republicans in the US House of Representatives immediately called into question the results, despite the bomb-proof conclusions. Ben Carson, who isn’t even a politician, stated in a Fox panel: “I really think that President Putin was speaking figuratively…” but he was immediately shouted down by Juan Williams, who is a senior and respected scientific voice in the journalistic community. He argued that Putin’s remarks were “typical of ignorant white Christian terrorists on the wrong side of history.”
