A VIDEO REVIEW OF LAST NIGHT’S CIRCUS

Full confession: I was up late trying to watch the canine and equine performance and didn’t quite make it. There’s so much to cover I’m going to break it into two parts. Most of you have seen some or all of the debate, others may have a life and actually missed it. This is the entire nearly three hour show for the truly masochistic and a lot of short segments with highlights broken down into very short soundbites. If you only have a short time to browse I urge you to watch the exchange between The Donald and Carly Fiorina, who was absolutely amazing. Her comment on Iran and Planned Parenthood was the absolute best.

Why do we need Planned Parenthood?

The fact is … we don’t. The TRUTH about why Democrats are such ardent supporters of Planned Parenthood is that the organization donates big bucks to Democrat campaign coffers.

Feb 27, 2014: Planned Parenthood will soon announce a campaign offensive that includes spending over $16 million in the upcoming midterm elections in 14 different states. This $16 million comes on top of the $2.4 million the organization already spent on Democrat Terry McAuliffe’s successful run for Virginia governor in 2013

Pro-Life vs Pro-Abortion

I don’t believe there is such a thing as “pro-choice.”  How can you be “tolerant” of evil?  Sometimes I hear, “If you don’t believe in abortion, don’t have one. But don’t interfere with my right to do so.”  Ooooookay.  How about this?  “If you don’t believe in slavery, don’t own one. But don’t interfere with my right to do so.”  Hmmm?

Ben Carson’s 7 Principles for Alternatives to ObamaCare

Carson’s 7 Principles:

  1.     Our health is the most personal and important thing we possess, therefore its care must be under our control.
  2.     Centralization and bureaucracy are the antithesis of personalization, and only discourage choice and innovation.
  3.     Large-scale change should not be imposed from above. Instead, we must have the freedom to choose what is best for our families and build on proven successes.
  4.     Advancing technology and innovation can reduce costs and increase efficiency but every individual must always own and control their personal medical information.
  5.     States should have maximum flexibility to design the programs that serve their citizens.
  6.     Employers and individuals purchasing health insurance must always be free to buy coverage and benefits consistent with their moral and religious beliefs.
  7.     Physicians are the backbone of our healthcare system and deserve to practice in an environment free of unnecessary, frivolous and costly lawsuits.

The American Legacy PAC says that these principles will be developed into an alternative plan to Obamacare later this year.

OBAMACARE updates

December 19, 2013: U.S. District Court Judge Emmet G. Sullivan ruled against Priests for Life in their lawsuit against the HHS abortion mandate. In other words, in his opinion, our First Amendment right to freedom of religion is subject to the government’s approval. Since a different District Court Judge ruled the OTHER way on this matter, it’s virtually a done deal that the issue will go to the United States Supreme Court. December 19, 2013: The White House announced it will grant a “hardship exemption” for people who have had their prior coverage canceled and believe that Obamacare’s offerings are unaffordable. Note: This isn’t insurance. It’s just an exemption from the FINE for not having insurance. But, oh goodie, Obama is encouraging health insurers to make up bare bones options for these people … which the guy in this video says aren’t affordable either.

So … those people we have heard about? The ones with cancer, MS and other devastating illness who WERE getting the care they wanted but have had their health insurance plans eliminated by Obamacrat Decree? THOSE people are STILL SCREWED … and the individual health insurance market is in chaos.

Gosnell trial update

If you’ve eaten recently, don’t read this stuff. It is truly nauseating.

Gosnell’s janitor told the jury how aborting women were told to deliver their babies into the toilets. These toilets backed up one-two times a week and he said when he opened the outside clean out pipe, fetal parts such as babies’ arms would come spilling out.

Johnson said he scooped up body parts with shovel and put them in a bag that was dumped in the basement. Gosnell kept a cat to deal with the rats that were attracted to the decaying flesh. The cat pooped all over the clinic.

One of the murders Kermit Gosnell is being tried for is 41-year-old Karnamaya Mongar who died of an anesthesia overdose during an abortion on November 20, 2009.

The drugs were administered by someone who was not licensed to do so. The State Board of Medicine says Gosnell had unlicensed employees administer Demerol, Promethazine and Diazepam to patients, as well as do vaginal exams.

When it was discovered that Mongar had slipped into a coma, the clinic called an ambulance. Firefighters and paramedics arrived but were unable to transport the woman to an emergency room until after they had used bolt cutters to open an emergency door.

Family of Woman Gosnell Killed in Abortion Weeps at Murder Trial

On Mother’s Day,1972, fifteen poor women, all in their second trimester of pregnancy, were bused from Chicago to Gosnell’s clinic where Gosnell inserted coils of plastic razors coated in gel into their wombs.

After several hours at body temperature, the gel was supposed to melt, allowing the razors to spring open and slice the fetuses to death. Nine of the fifteen suffered serious complications. One of them needed a hysterectomy. None had been told that the abortion method Gosnell chose to use on them was experimental.

Pro-abortion advocates claim this atrocity was the direct result of abortion being illegal. But it is clear that the real culprit was Kermit Gosnell who, once he could legally engage in butchery, moved from secretly maiming and killing on Sundays only to legally engaging in such butchery on a full time basis.
