CNN reported Democrats are unhappy with their Messiah? Yup. According to this CNN report, Democrats are privately calling President Obama “detached,” “flat footed,” and “incompetent.”
I can’t help wondering what they think of Senator Harry Reid, the man THEY elected to be Senate Majority Leader, the man who has not passed a SINGLE BUDGET since Obama took office. Please to note that Congress is legally mandated to pass a budget EVERY YEAR. The House sends their budgets to the Senate where Reid apparently uses the paper for … other purposes. The House has also passed numerous “fix the VA” bills … with bipartisan support … that again Reid has refused to bring to the Senate for a vote.
Reid did manage to take a breather from screaming about the Koch Brothers, at least long enough to scream at the Washington Redskins.
Senate Democrats took time out of their busy schedules to tackle what Harry Reid says is one of the biggest issues facing America right now.
Did they figure out how to balance the budget and pay down the debt? Maybe they figured out how to scale back job-killing regulations to take on the high unemployment rate or stagnant economy? Perhaps they reached an agreement to actually secure our southern border and stem the tide of illegal immigration, drugs and terrorists?
No, they didn’t address any of those things. They sent a letter to the NFL and the Washington Redskins demanding that they change their name, because they believe it is racist towards Native Americans.
Bruce Allen, the President of the Washington Redskins organization, told Reid to get to work dealing with real issues.
The actual origin of the word (redskin) is entirely benign and reflects more positive aspects of relations between Indians and whites. Our use of “Redskins” as the name of our football team for more than 81 years has always been respectful of and shown reverence toward the proud legacy and traditions of Native Americans.
I’d bother to wonder when Democrats were going to DUMP Know-Nothing-Do-Nothing “leaders” … but they seem to be hell-bent on electing the Queen of What Difference Does It Make to take over from Mr. Detached Incompetent Flat Foot.

Those of us who are not brain dead Obamacrats know that the Republican plans were about addressing specific problems in the health insurance market that drive costs up. E.g., States (like New York) that forbid residents to buy health insurance anywhere else.
In New York, Blue Cross has a monopoly; you know what happens when one business controls a commodity, right? It should tell you something about how UNaffordable health insurance has been in New York State that we are one of the few places where ObamaCare prices are similar or a little less.
Dearest couldn’t afford health insurance before ObamaCare; we STILL can’t afford it, but now the government is going to FINE us for not having it. Thanks, Democrats. That was a Big Help. NOT.

One correction to Judge Jeanine … Barack Obama is not a lawyer. He went to law school; he USED to be a lawyer. But he is not licensed to practice anywhere NOW. Ergo, he is not a lawyer.

PPACA Section 1312(d)(3)(D) (enacted as public law 111-148) requires all members of Congress and congressional staff to get Obamacare.
(D) MEMBERS OF CONGRESS IN THE EXCHANGE-
(i) REQUIREMENT – Notwithstanding any other provision of law, after the effective date of this subtitle, the only health plans that the Federal Government may make available to Members of Congress and congressional staff with respect to their service as a Member of Congress or congressional staff shall be health plans that are:
I) created under this act; or
II) offered through an Exchange established under this Act (or an amendment made by this Act).
July-August 2013:President Obama, Members of Congress and Karen Archuleta – Obama’s appointed head the Office of Personnel Management (OPM) – meet in closed door sessions to discuss the troubling (to them) fact that under Obamacare, they would not only lose their gold-plated healthcare coverage, but they’d also lose the hefty percentage of the premiums that taxpayers kick in as “employer contributions.”
Sept 2013: OPM issued a 17-page document unilaterally overturning Section 1312(d)(3)(D) of the Obamacare LAW, so Members of Congress can stay on their cushy plans-with-benefits and not have to endure the odious high costs and rotten coverage that PPACA is forcing on the rest of us.

Senator Vitter (R-Louisiana) responded to this OPM law breaking withSenate Bill 1497: “No Exemption for Washington from Obamacare Act.” Co-sponsors of the bill include Ted Cruz, Ted Inhofe, Michael Enzi, Ron Johnson, Dean Heller, Lindsey Graham, and Mike Lee.
In order for this legislation to be brought to the floor of the Senate, it must be approved by the Senate Majority Leader.
The current Senate Majority Leader is Senator Harry Reid (D-Nevada) who routinely blocks any bill presented by Republicans, even if they’ve been passed in the House by a bi-partisan majority and are popular with the people.
Senator Reid has refused to allow Vitter’s bill to even be DISCUSSED by the Senate, never mind brought to a vote. As long as the Democrats hold a majority of the seats in the Senate, this situation will not change.
