2015_03 27 Apple CEO slams religious freedom act

Catholic Vote had this to say about the Leftist uproar over Indiana’s religious freedom law:

“What irks LGBT activists so much about this new Indiana law is that it strips them of the right to impose their agenda on religious individuals.”

IMHO, the activist gay Left is playing right into Anti-Christ’s hands attacking our freedom of religion. It will just make it that much easier for the Muslim Mahdi to force Islam on everyone … and you know what that will mean for the LGBTs!

Darn those “technical” wars

PV at Barry University - ISIS club

Project Veritas just released an undercover video showing Barry University (Florida) officials sanctioning a pro-ISIS club with the stated goal of sending material support to ISIS. The officials also helpfully suggested the club not include “ISIS” in the name, “because technically our country is at war with ISIS.”

Muslim eschatology and Obama’s foreign policy

I keep seeing and hearing people who are completely clueless how any American president can behave the way Obama does.

For example, retired General Barry McCaffrey called the Bergdahl-Gitmo prisoner swap “incomprehensible” because the White House knew within days of Bergdahl’s disappearance that he had deliberately deserted to join the Taliban.

Gen. Barry McCaffrey: WH Comments on Bergdahl Are ‘Incomprehensible,’ They Knew What Happened

But if you look at Obama’s behavior from the viewpoint of Muslim End Times prophecies, then everything he has done makes total sense.

Muslim eschatology predicts the rise of a global ruler who will convert all people to Islam. Muslims call him Imam Mahdi. One of the pre-requisites for Mahdi’s rise to power is the destruction of the “little Satan” – Israel – and the “great Satan” – the United States. President Obama has just been doing his part to help.

A year ago, when President Obama held a press conference in the Rose Garden to celebrate the return of the “captured” Bowe Bergdahl, he treated Ma and Pa Bergdahl like visiting royalty.

According to Allen West [http://allenbwest.com/2014/06/bombshell-first-words-bergdahls-father-white-house-arabic/], Pa Bergdahl’s first words at the White House were “bism allah alrahman alraheem”, which is an Arabic phrase from the Qu’ran that means “in the name of Allah the most gracious and most merciful.”  Pa Bergdahl also wore a Muslim-style beard, but the lapdog press insisted he was a “devout Presbyterian.”  (Suuuuuuuuuuuure he is.)

Last week, Bowe Bergdahl was charged with “desertion with intent to avoid hazardous or important service” (Article 85, UCMJ) and “misbehavior before the enemy” (Article 99, UCMJ). He will face a military court on April 22nd in San Antonio, Texas.

In the summer of 2014, DAESH (aka, ISIS, ISIL) attacked and captured the village of Dabiq, not because it has any military significance, but because Muhammad predicted the Day of Judgment will come only after the Muslims defeat Rome at al-`Amaq or Dabiq, two places close to the Syrian border with Turkey. Taking Dabiq from Sunni Muslims was viewed as an important step toward bringing about the rise of Imam Mahdi.  http://www.businessinsider.com/isis-is-making-strategic-decisions-in-syria-based-on-ancient-islamic-prophecy-of-the-end-time-2014-10

The President-In-Name-Only just uncorked another steaming pile of Blame Bush Buffet.

2015_03 16 BHO blames ISIS on Bush

Remember when Obamacrats said we didn’t need troops in Iraq because there was no al Qaeda in Iraq? This would be after the Left said Bush didn’t attack al Qaeda in Iraq because he didn’t want to undercut his reasons for invading Iraq, but before they said it was Bush’s invasion that led to al Qaeda being in Iraq.

ISIS wasn’t the result of the invasion of Iraq. It was the result of Obama’s retreat from Iraq. And it is something that Bush and a whole lot of other smart people WARNED WOULD HAPPEN if we pulled our troops out of Iraq too soon.

Below is the full VICE News interview. I didn’t watch it, but you’re welcome to do so. I suggest you keep a barf bag handy; I hear he talks about his Jobs for Terrorists plan at the end.

President Barack Obama Speaks With VICE News

BHO and Jihadi John

Remember when BHO sneered at FOX News, calling it “not a real news organization”? Have any of you ever even heard of VICE News or Shane Smith before? I guess this is a step up from his interview with that Froot Loops YouTube sensation. At least VICE News has the word “news” in the name, right? Almost like how FOX News does. Speaking of FOX … I googled VICE News and found out that Rupert Murdoch’s corporation 21st Century Fox owns 5% of Vice Media of which VICE News is a division. ::snork::

Daesh: Cultural and Ethnic Cleansers

They’re proud of their campaign to destroy the religious and cultural history of the Iraqi people, saying they draw their inspiration from early Islamic history and their strict interpretation of Islamic law.

2015_03 15 Daesh destroys monastery

Previous attacks in recent weeks include the bulldozing of the 2,000-year-old city of Hatra and the Nimrud archaeological site near Mosul and destruction of cultural artefacts and antiquities in a Mosul museum and at the Nergal Gate to ancient Nineveh.

They also destroyed a 19th century Ottoman-era mosque in the central Mosul because it belonged to the wrong kind of Muslims.

ISIS and the Missing Christ by Andrew Klavan – February 22, 2015

Like everyone else who cares more about the facts than his own opinions, I’ve recently read Graeme Wood’s excellent Atlantic article “What Isis Really Wants.” [http://www.theatlantic.com/features/archive/2015/02/what-isis-really-wants/384980/] Those of you making do with excerpts and pull quotes, stop, and go read the whole thing. That it renders the president’s statements about ISIS absurd is the least of the article’s accomplishments. No one but a small coterie of leftist knuckleheads believes what Obama says on this subject anyway — though it’s unfortunate that the president himself is part of that coterie.

Among the many things in the piece that inspire thought is Wood’s reflection on the attractions of the ISIS ideology. The mass executions, the crucifixions, the enslavements, the oppressive religiosity and the war cry to a worldly disaster that will initiate the apocalypse — they are all drawing believers to the Islamic State from around the world. Wood himself felt the attraction, he says, while talking to ISIS supporters. He ends the article by quoting Orwell on the allure of Nazism:

Whereas Socialism, and even capitalism in a more grudging way, have said to people “I offer you a good time,” Hitler has said to them, “I offer you struggle, danger, and death,” and as a result a whole nation flings itself at his feet. … We ought not to underrate its emotional appeal.

We really ought not. Nor should we underestimate the need to offer young people especially something in its place. As much as I believe in capitalism as a method of economic development, a capitalist life is empty without spiritual content. Indeed, as much as I believe in individual freedom as the only worthwhile goal of any political system, individual freedom too is empty without spiritual content.

It is in that emptiness that militant Islam grows like the cancer it is.

Battered by the religious wars of the Reformation, making adjustments to a global economy and multi-cultured nations, the West has slowly become diffident in defense of its central faith. And there is some wisdom in that. Christianity is a religion, to paraphrase St. Paul, that frees us for freedom, and faith in Christ must be chosen freely to be fully realized. But to move from that position — which calls for intellectual rigor, unfettered debate and honest proselytism — to indiscriminate acceptance of all creeds as equally worthwhile is an error that does the world more harm than good.

Whenever I hear someone announce that “All religions are a path to God!” I wonder how it would work if you applied such “tolerance” to, say, medicine or science. “All medicines are a path to health! You take antibiotics, I cut the head off a chicken and dance under the full moon, really what’s the difference as long as we both believe it will make us well?” Or “All science is a path to progress! You invent an iPhone, I invent a weaponized disease, it’s all science, man, it’s all great!”

When you put it this way, it becomes clear that the idea that all religions are equally worthwhile is essentially an atheist creed. To say All religions are a path to God is really saying, No religion is a path to God. There is no God, so what difference does your religion make? When something is true, when it is factual, when it is real, it excludes other options. The world can’t be both flat and round. When you accept the roundness of it, you can no longer entertain its flatness. It’s one or the other.

If God is the Christian God of love, he is not the Allah of Isis.

The objection to this approach to religion — the generalization that says “religion” is responsible for the wars and atrocities committed in religion’s name — is absurd. People murder each other in the name of love, too, but that doesn’t mean love is murderous; it simply means there are wrong and right ways to love. There are wrong and right ways to worship too, and keeping silent about the right ways only lends credence to the wrong.

If there is a God — and, spoiler alert, there is — then like everything else that exists, there are things that are true about Him and things that are false. We who have voices better start telling the Truth without fear. Otherwise, our silence, and the emptiness that silence creates, will leave all the world to the likes of ISIS and their god — who is not God at all, by the way, but another fellow entirely.

You cannot beat an opponent you refuse to understand

I learned this as a young girl when my dad would spend hours in the living room watching game films of the team that his team was going to play next. He’d run the film forwards and backwards and forwards and backwards, studying each play and each man, learning their patterns and their strengths and weaknesses. He was a great coach. Barack Obama is a duplicitous idiot.

When a President needs on-the-job training

2014_05 07 SecState Kerry w wishbone

Below are 11 major statements that Barack Obama has made about our military in Iraq:

  1. As candidate for Illinois Senator in 2002, he said, “I don’t oppose all wars. What I am opposed to is a dumb war.” Then he proceeded to explain what a Very Bad Guy Saddam Hussein is and how much better off Iraq and the world would be if he were gone.
  2. As a U.S. Senator in early 2007, he declared himself completely opposed to President Bush’s “Surge”, saying if it were up to him, he would “do the reverse. … I think he [Bush] is wrong, and I think the American people believe he’s wrong.” The Surge was a rousing success.
  3. As a U.S. Senator in summer 2007, he wrote that the Iraq War “never should have been authorized and never should have been waged.” Obama advocated troop withdrawal “with the goal of removing all combat brigades from Iraq by March 31, 2008.” At this point, the Surge had only just begun.
  4. As candidate for U.S. President in fall 2007, he said, “If we have not gotten our troops out by the time I am President, it is the first thing I will do. I will get our troops home. We will bring an end to this war. You can take that to the bank.” It was clear at this time that the Surge was working and that more of our boots on the ground was exactly what Iraq needed to keep the peace.
  5. After taking his Oath of Office in January 2009, he stated, “We’ll begin to responsibly leave Iraq to its people.” Anybody with any sense whatsoever knew this was a Very Bad Idea that would assuredly result in a resurgence in extremist Muslim violence, but he didn’t care.
  6. At a speech at Camp Lejeune in February 2009, he told all our enemies exactly when our troops would be leaving Iraq.
  7.  On October 21, 2011, he reaffirmed his announcement of a hard date by which all our troops would be out of Iraq.
  8. At a final campaign stop before the 2012 elections, the President took credit for ending the War in Iraq. “I said I’d end the war in Iraq, I ended it,” he said.
  9. In August 2014, Obama blamed the horrific rise in violence by ISIS on George Bush.
  10. In September 2014, Obama reiterated his determination to NOT put U.S. boots on the ground.
  11. On February 11, 2015, Obama asked Congress for the authority to put U.S. boots on the ground in Iraq, because, you know, ISIS.  We had that damn war won before HE took over and pissed it all away.

The Crusades: History vs. Obama’s High Horse Pucky

2015_02 Obama names Christianity but not Islam

As we have seen many times, there is no moment so grave that our current president will not to use it to get up on his high horse, take a shot at Western civilization, and emphasize his own moral superiority. … No littler man has ever been president.” – David Gelernter

  • On Tuesday, ISIS posted a video of themselves burning a Jordanian pilot alive in a steel cage.
  • On Tuesday, President Obama condemned the murder and said it “just indicates the degree to which, whatever ideology they’re operating off of, it’s bankrupt.”
  • On Wednesday, the United Nations issued a report detailing ISIS crimes including “mass executions of boys, as well as reports of beheadings, crucifixions of children, and burying children alive.”
  • On Thursday, President Obama used his time at the National Prayer Breakfast to criticize the “terrible deeds” committed “in the name of Christ.”

Fox News: Kelly Files clip – Obama has never once condemned crimes committed “in the name of Mohammed”

Bernard Lewis, the greatest living English-language historian of Islam said, “The Crusades could more accurately be described as a limited, belated and, in the last analysis, ineffectual response to the jihad — a failed attempt to recover by a Christian holy war what had been lost to a Muslim holy war.”

Crusades Muslim vs Christian

“In his ignorant and bigoted remarks to religious leaders this week, President Obama parroted the jihadi propaganda [that blames] the cultural incompetence, practical indolence, and spiritual decay of the entire Middle East [on] Richard Coeur de Lion’s twelfth-century swordplay.” – Ralph Peters

PIG Islam

We are all descended from cavemen who broke the skulls of their enemies with rocks for fun or profit. But that hardly mitigates the crimes of a man who does the same thing today. I see no problem judging the behavior of the Islamic State and its apologists from the vantage point of the West’s high horse, because we’ve earned the right to sit in that saddle.” – Jonah Goldberg
