The culture of death prevails

Culture of Death

When Jennifer Jorgensen of Long Island, New York, veered into on-coming traffic, she hit Robert and Mary Kelly’s car head-on and killed them both.

Jorgensen was intoxicated, speeding and not wearing a seatbelt.

She was also eight months pregnant. The crash forced the premature birth of her daughter, who died as a result of her injuries six days later.

Jorgensen has been acquitted of all charges regarding the three people she killed with her reckless behavior.

Jorgensen’s unborn daughter was deemed “not a person” at the time of the accident, so meh.

The pro-aborts are all slappy-go-happy about this, cuz we wouldn’t want anyone persecuting pregnant ladies who get drunk and take drugs, then go for a drive, would we?

Cuz that would be like so totalitarian and you know unfair! Unlike banning large size servings of soda and toys in Happy Meals cuz they’re like so bad for your health!

I cannot find a single word explaining why Jorgensen was cleared in the vehicular manslaughter of the Kellys.

I’m feeling super cynical at the moment so my speculations are running toward 74-year old wrinkly people don’t matter. Or maybe they had Christian bumper stickers or something.

Damn this bugs me.

In other news to make your stomach acids churn, a pregnant 13-year-old girl told her abortion nurse she was having second thoughts. The nurse told her she should be brave and abort for her mom’s sake and for Jesus.  The abortionist said that calmed the girl and she had the procedure.

NO to Assisted Suicide

ASSISTED SUICIDE no

Assisted suicide is legal in four states: Oregon, Washington, Vermont, and Montana. A fifth, California, will soon implement its own recently signed suicide law.

Patients Rights Action Fund

Democrats generally favor this allegedly “compassionate” law, but now J.J. Hanson, a former aide to former Democratic New York Governors Eliot Spitzer and David Paterson, is taking a strong stand against it.

Hanson, who suffers from Grade 4 Glioblastoma, has founded Patient Rights Action Fund to “inform both Republicans and Democrats, and then allow them to arrive at their own conclusion” about assisted suicide.

“We have found that when citizens on both sides of the political spectrum understand the realities of assisted suicide, they oppose the issue,” he explained.

“Assisted suicide diminishes the focus on patients choosing to fight and survive a terminal diagnosis,” Hanson said. “It reinforces the implicit and explicit message from doctors, insurers, and government that people living with a ‘terminal’ prognosis or disability may be better off dead.”

“Patients with strong support systems facing this type of illness already face significant emotional and cost challenges. Those challenges only multiply for the poor, elderly, or those without access to health care options.”

Crusaders for Life Bring Joy to Sad Abortion Rally

This video is a guaranteed grin maker! It is worth your while to go to YouTube and read the text under the video. It adds a lot to the video, but it is pretty long, so I won’t reproduce it here.

According to LifeNews, the videos of the event posted by pro-abort protesters did not acknowledge the pro-life counter-protest. I took their word for it. The last thing I want to do today is watch anything published by a group called Feminists United to Resist Inequality and Exploitation (FURIE).  I did not make that up.  I have to wonder if they have a sister group named HARPIE (Hags Against Reproducing People something something)?

Fury Harpy

In Greek mythology, the Furies were three sisters, named Alecto, Tisiphone, and Magaera. They were born from the drops of Urano’s blood as they struck the earth, produced by his severed member, after he was castrated by his son, Cronus. Their role was to plague evil-doers, especially those that had sinned against family members, and those that had broken oaths. They would torment those souls, driving them to the gates of the underworld. They were fierce-looking women, depicted with wings, snakes in the hair, and monstrous bodies. http://www.greekmythology.biz/3.html

In Greek and Roman mythology, Harpies were female monsters in the form of a bird with a human face. They stole food from their victims and carried evildoers (especially those who had killed family members) to the Furies. Their name means “snatchers.” https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Harpy

Fighting for its life

Planned Parenthood Abby Johnson: I saw the baby fighting for its life!

13 week

I had to have seven amnios with my youngest child. They were all ultrasound guided, plus I could feel her inside, and it was clear from the very first procedure that she did not like that needle coming into her personal space one little bit.

The amnios were about 2 weeks apart. Each time I went for an appointment, my unborn daughter would become agitated earlier and earlier in the appointment. Outside odors get into the amniotic fluid where the baby can taste and smell them and the smells in that office were unlike anything I normally experienced.

It was clear to me that she hated the needle and that she learned what smells, and maybe sounds, meant it would be coming in soon. By the last amnio, my daughter was kicking and rolling before they even started prepping me.

She was so agitated, the doctor had a hard time safely getting samples during the last few procedures. Finally, they resorted to shoving on the top of her head to make her curl up tighter in my womb, then while the nurse held her there, the doctor stuck the needle into the small space below the nurse’s hand to get the sample he needed.

“We almost lost everything.”

ABORTION Mother Teresa - profoundly anti woman

Now, 16 years later, we are blessed with four children that we love so much and a love between my husband and I that will last a lifetime. We look back on that time quite often when we almost lost our son because of fear of our future. We almost lost everything.

Even now, with the hustle and bustle of a big and busy family, in between basketball practices and swim team, when I’m cooking dinner in the kitchen and the kids are playing games in the living room, my husband will walk up behind me and put his arms around me and whisper in my ear, “Thank you for being the strong one. Thank you for choosing life even in my weakest moment. Thank you for choosing us.”

And I look up to God and thank Him for the blessings he has given us.

Circle the BAD Catholic

2015_05 26 Rubio on religious rights

Pelosi said she thought Rubio’s statement was “unfortunate” … not because it isn’t true, but because it’s “polarizing.” Whatever that means.  And to prove how very correct and Catholic she is, she mentioned how she had been raised Catholic and had raised a Catholic family. Then she added, “I don’t even think that Pope Francis would subscribe to what Marco Rubio just said.”

Uhhhhhhhhhh … no.

In June 2014, Pope Francis said that ensuring people’s right to live their religious values is increasingly difficult in the modern world “where weak thinking — this is a sickness — lowers the level of ethics in general and, in the name of a false understanding of tolerance, ends up persecuting those who defend the truth about the human person and its ethical consequences.”

Oh wait … “a false understanding of tolerance” … THAT’S what “polarizing” is about.

In March 2014, Pope Francis presented President Obama with a copy of his apostolic exhortation Evangelii Gaudium (“The Joy of the Gospel”), which criticizes some public figures who attempt to marginalize the pro-life message by presenting it as “ideological, obscurantist, and conservative.”

Pelosi is a long-time supporter of abortion and says she supports Hillary Clinton’s 2016 bid for the White House. Clinton recently opined that it isn’t enough for abortion to be legal.  “Religious beliefs” about abortion also “have to be changed.”

House Passes Pain-Capable Abortion Ban

The House of Representatives approved a bill that bans abortions after 20-weeks of pregnancy.

2015_05 13 HR 36 Pain Capable vote

A poll done by the uber liberal Huffington Post found that Americans support the pain-capable ban by an almost 2-1 margin.  If the Senate approves the bill, President Obama has said he will veto it. Clearly, he does not care what Americans want.

OBAMA supports dismemberment abortion

Before the vote, Dr. Maureen Condic, who is Associate Professor of Neurobiology and Adjunct Professor of Pediatrics at the University of Utah School of Medicine, testified that the unborn child is capable of reacting to pain as early as 8-10 weeks. This is when most abortions in America take place.

ABORTION dismemberment

“Two years ago today, Pennsylvania abortion doctor Kermit Gosnell was convicted of murder, conspiracy to kill and involuntary manslaughter and sentenced to life imprisonment. Even though the news of Gosnell’s child slaughter was largely suppressed by the mainstream media, many of my colleagues may remember that Dr. Gosnell operated a large Philadelphia abortion clinic where women died and countless babies were dismembered or chemically destroyed often by having their spinal cords snipped—all gruesome procedures causing excruciating pain to the victim. The Pain Capable Unborn Child Protection Act is needed now more than ever because there are Gosnells all over America, dismembering and decapitating pain-capable babies for profit.” -Congressman Chris Smith

“If you stand with the defenseless, with the voiceless, you have to stand with little babies. Don’t talk to me about cruelty in our bill — when you look at little babies being dismembered, feeling excruciating pain, if we can’t stand to defend these children, what do we stand for in this institution?” –Congressman Sean Duffy

The Racist Evil on the Left

Booker T Washington quote

Between 1890 and 1915, Washington was the dominant leader in the African-American community. He mobilized a nationwide coalition of middle-class blacks, church leaders, and white philanthropists and politicians, with a long-term goal of building the community’s economic strength and pride by a focus on self-help and schooling. Washington was on close terms with national Republican Party leaders.

Black militants in the North opposed his policies and set up the NAACP which took over leadership after Washington’s death. The NAACP opposes anything that is not approved by far left Democrats. This frequently puts it at odds with the same “colored people” it claims to represent. For example, the NAACP is rabidly pro-abortion, despite the fact that more black babies are killed than are born. It also supports gun control laws that leave law abiding citizens vulnerable to armed and violent criminals, while opposing successful school voucher programs which are popular with poor black parents.

Allen West liberals divide us

Black unemployment

Those of you following my “Satan’s Century” blogs will note that the rise of the NAACP as primary leader in the black community coincides with what I believe was the beginning of the time period God granted to Satan to try and destroy His church.  The black churches were such a strong part of their community identity that Planned Parenthood founder and flaming racist Margaret Sanger targeted black ministers for conversion to her cause.  Two of the worst race-baiting, hate-mongering, pro-abortion, black leaders of today – Al Sharpton and Jesse Jackson Jr. – are both Baptist ministers.
