CRIME: Federal agents busted a major sex-trafficking scheme with operations based in the suburbs of Boston and Washington D.C. CATHOLIC: Pope Benedict XVI “responds” to Pope Francis’ recent decision that homosexual couples can get their kids baptized and that trans people can serve as godparents … even when there is no evidence of a commitment to abide by the teachings of the Catholic Church. Francis wants to be “pastoral” (or something), but IMO he’s heaping condemnation on sinners by encouraging them to participate in Catholic Sacraments while openly living in sin. The Catholic Rite of Baptism includes a solemn promise by the parents and the godparents to be actively involved in raising the child within the Catholic Church. If active gays and trannies want to get the kids sprinkled, they can go to one of the many leftist Protestant denoms that cater to them and avoid making vows they have zero intention of keeping.
GERMANY: For fifty years, a day care center in the town of Tangerhütte in Northern Germany has been named for Anne Frank. After some immigrants complained, the local administrators decided to remove the name of the famous Jewish victim of Nazism. The announcement sparked a firestorm of controversy that, at this writing, is not resolved.
MICHIGAN: When the local government of Green Charter Township voted to allow a ChiCom factory to be built in their jurisdiction, the townspeople said, “Hell no.” An emergency recall election saw all five of the pro-commies booted from office; the first thing the new board did was get the locks changed.
MINNESOTA: The state’s Supreme Court tossed out a lawsuit claiming that Trump should be barred from the primary ballot, because he allegedly violated the 14th amendment. However, the judge noted that this dismissal would not prevent the petitioners from bringing forth the same claim again for the general election ballot.
NEW YORK: In June 2022, New York passed a law targeting pro-life pregnancy centers for investigation. The Sisters of Life Sisters challenged that law, and this week a judge ruled the government had no right to demand the religious community’s sensitive internal documents.
SCIENCE: Logan Brown, a woman who identifies as a man, authored a new children’s book called “In My Daddy’s Belly.” This book teaches kids that men can get pregnant and give birth. Logan was the same trans activist who appeared pregnant on the cover of Glamour Magazine.
VIRGINIA: Photographer Bob Updegrove has won a settlement over the state’s attempt to fine him for even stating that he will not photograph same-sex “weddings.” The state law threatened fines up to $50,000, and then $100,000 per additional violation. The settlement grants him his First Amendment right to publish communications regarding his religious beliefs on his website and to choose or deny clients according to his religious beliefs.

On the plus side, the African bishops who took part in the synod in Rome last month held the line on the Church’s teaching on marriage as “a union between a man and a woman.” Cameroon Archbishop Andrew Nkea Fuanya of Bemenda said anything that departs from that teaching as “witchcraft.” Fuanya also said the pressure from the African bishops resulted in documents being “moderated” with “certain words that were very political” taken out.
HOUSE OVERSIGHT: Yesterday, the committee issued subpoenas for FAUXTUS’ son, Hunter, and brother, James. The committee also seeks to interview Hunter’s wife, Melissa, and James’ wife, Sara.

LOCKDOWNS: A recent survey by the American Psychological Association (APA) found we are still grappling with the mental and physical stressors the lockdowns caused. Chronic stress can cause inflammation, breaking down the immune system and raising the risk of all sorts of ailments, including stroke and heart disease. The APA’s CEO says, “To move toward posttraumatic growth, we must first identify and understand the psychological wounds that remain.”
UNVAXXXED: The Daily Mail reports there has been an uptick in women seeking sperm donations from men who claim to have not gotten the ‘rona jab. The CDC claims there is zero evidence that the shots affect fertility. The post-jab drops in birth rates suggest otherwise.
VAXXX: A study entitled “Assessment of Myocardial 18F-FDG Uptake at PET/CT in Asymptomatic SARS-CoV-2–vaccinated and Nonvaccinated Patients” appeared in Radiology on September 19, 2023. In it, researchers report that the myocardial abnormalities seen in symptomatic vaxxxed heart patients show up in asymptomatic vaxxxed (1 to 180 post jabs) but not in asymptomatic non-vaxxxed individuals. The study looked at 18F-FDG uptake which indicates significantly increased risk for multiple myocardial abnormalities.
COVID-19: Their lies and bad policies did an enormous amount of damage, yet now they want us to forgive and forget. These are the same people demanding that modern People of Pallor who have never owned a single slave hand over “reparation” payments to People of Color who have never been enslaved. Even worse, they demand we live in perpetual shame for having been born with less melanin than they have, yet somehow manage to excuse their grotesque hatred as “not” racist. So no. I will not forget the economic and emotional damage they wrought. I will forgive, but only because God commands it and also because I refuse to become like them. But forget? Nope. Not ever. Especially not on election days!
DISINFORMATION: During the first year of the pandemic, about 1/3 of parents reported their babies had missed their vaccinations. The CDC reports that in that same year, approximately 1,389 babies died from SIDS.
IRONY: Australia’s state media (Australian Broadcasting Company) published a sneering condemnation of Elon Musk’s X … then posted it on X … where it has not been censored. It’s almost like X allows free speech. The article called X a “haven for hate” that is full of “right-wing extremists.” I used to belong to a watercolor group on Facebook, until the moderator announced she was quitting X, because of all the “right-wing hate.” I was like, fine, sweetie, you do you, but I’m out of here.

CALIFORNICATION: In another example of our culture’s decline, a San Diego middle schooler who painted his face to show school spirit at a football game has been banned forever from attending any more school sporting events. The reason cited in the paperwork: “intent to harm.”
The 13-year-old did not cause any disruptions at the game and neither he nor his parents had any idea there was a problem (however specious) until they were called on the carpet because he painted black on his face, so therefore it was a deliberately racist act.
The student told the principal he didn’t know what “blackface” was. Here’s the dictionary definition: “dark makeup worn to mimic the appearance of a Black person and especially to mock or ridicule Black people.” As in, not dark makeup worn to express one’s team spirit.
CATHOLIC: Today, I want to feature a delightful little piece of Catholic culture. Yesterday was the Feast of All Saints. CANCEL CULTURE: On Aug 6, 2021, Insider published an opinion piece by Scott Galloway entitled “Half of America has its head up its ass. It’s time for a vaccine mandate.” It was headed up with the photo above. In it he said fun, friendly stuff like, “Enough already. Federal law should require any citizen who wants to cash a government check, use public transport, or enter a place of business to show proof of vaccination.” He spent paragraphs likening the coronavirus to World War II and bemoaning the anti-science stupidity of those who didn’t trust the so-called vaccine that isn’t and never was a vaccine. Then he smugly finished with, “Our nation has been frayed, if not torn apart. A key component of our repair will be a renewed belief that there is a truth — one based not on ideology or opinion but on data and science. This vaccine is our generation’s call. Let’s answer it. Let’s get two million fellow Americans off this beach. Life is so rich.”
Now, Scott Galloway says, “I was on the board of my kids’ school during COVID. I wanted a harsher lockdown policy. In retrospect: I was wrong. The damage to kids of keeping them out of school longer was greater than the risk.” So, is he sorry about the shabby way he and so many others treated those of us who were rightly angry about the lockdowns and skeptical of the rush to inject the whole world? No. He says, “We were doing our best. But let’s give a little grace and forgiveness for the shit show that was COVID.” I don’t remember any of them giving us any grace back when we were being excluded from jobs, public spaces, and family holidays. And I have yet to have any of those who gave us crap personally offer any apology. I’ll work at forgiving, not because they deserve it, but because God requires it.
CONNECTICUT: A Sept. 12 Democrat primary election for Bridgeport’s Democrat mayoral candidate has been invalidated by a judge, who said the evidence presented was “shocking.” It’s amusing to note that they don’t just cheat us, but also each other.
COVID-19: COVID-19 has a new variant that has been named HV.1. At the moment, it is the leading variant diagnosed in the United States. It is more contagious than, but causes the same symptoms as Omicron – i.e., cough, fatigue, congestion, and runny nose. IOW, it’s a cold. None of the current COVID vaccines are effective against it. So, gosh, it’s almost like we’ll have to depend on our immune systems for this one.
EDUCATION: Caroline Andrews sent out a screenshot she said came from the College Board’s AP Classroom platform, which appears to provide practice tests. The data in the graphic above was presented in the AP test for Human Geography. It shows the birth and death rates for five countries, then asks which of these countries has the most “female empowerment.” The test counts “France” as the correct answer, because it has the lowest birth rate. (Never mind that it has the second highest death rate.)

VAXXX: The CDC has announced that, in 2022, U.S. infant death rates increased dramatically for the first time in many years. The CDC began recommending all pregnant women get the ‘rona jab as of August 1, 2021.
The increase rise was especially high for babies of white women, who had the highest rates of vaccination. Meanwhile, the same minorities who were most reluctant to get the Fauci Ouch also had the lowest increases in infant mortality.
Bacterial sepsis as a cause of death in infants also increased significantly. The COVID-19 “vaccines” have been shown to markedly decrease immune responses in children.
MICHIGAN: In 2016, the Tennes family farm was banned from selling at a farmer’s market in Lansing, because they said out loud that they agree with Catholic doctrine re: that marriage is between a man and a woman. Their six-year legal battle has ended with a district judge strongly chastising the city for violating the Catholic family’s right to religious freedom. The family says they never refused to sell to anyone at the market, but they do decline to host same sex marriages at their farm.
PHOs: Partially Hydrogenated Oils (PHOs) are oils that have had hydrogen added to make them more solid and stable at room temperature. These artificially created oils give food added texture, a more desirable taste, and a longer shelf life. They also significantly increase the incidence of heart disease, diabetes, and cancer in those who consume them. Starting Dec. 22, 2023, no products containing PHOs will be allowed on grocery store shelves.

VAXXX: A report entitled “NEURO-COVAX: An Italian Population-Based Study of Neurological Complications after COVID-19 Vaccinations” was published in Vaccines on October 21, 2023. In it, researchers described the results of their study of 19,108 adults (18+ yo) who had received two vaccine doses in Milan, Italy, during the second week of July 2021. Of these, approximately 31.2% developed neurological complications post-vaccination, including tremors, insomnia, muscle spasms, headaches, parethesia (burning, prickling, itching, or tingling of the skin), vertigo, diplopia (double vision), and sleepiness.
