DAILY PRAYER: Dear Lord, We ask you for the wisdom to know what You want us to say, the courage to speak when what You want said may be unpopular, and the serenity to keep our pie holes shut when now is not Your time. In Jesus’ Name, we pray. Amen.

ELECTION INTEGRITY: Thanks to years of work by Judicial Watch, more than five million ineligible voter registrations have been removed from the rolls in California, Colorado, Kentucky, New York, North Carolina, Ohio, and Pennsylvania. Other voter roll clean-up lawsuits by Judicial Watch continue in Illinois, Oregon, and California.

FIGHT: [9:10] – “Fight is the backstage story of bloodsport politics in its rawest form—the clawing, backstabbing, and rabble-rousing that drove Donald Trump into the White House and Democrats into the wilderness. At every turn, the combatants went for the jugular, whether they were facing down rivals in the other party or their own.”

IGNORANCE: Grandpa is rolling in his grave that his offspring think Trump is a fascist. Grandpa also knew how to spell “fascist.” But hey, kudos for the cute reference to Harry Potter.

J6 COMMITTEE: Biden gave them all a presidential pardon. If they did everything right, why did they need to be pardoned?

JOBS: During Biden’s years, the jobs reports were consistently lower than the predictions. Then, later on, they had to revise their reported numbers down even more, because they had inflated the reports. The opposite is now true. The newest March jobs report exceeded expectations by more than 50%. And they didn’t even need to fudge the numbers to do it.

SCOTUS: The Supremes have granted Trump permission to continue withholding $250 million in Department of Education grants that would fund diversity, equity, and inclusion (DEI) programs.

GRAMMY NOTES: My heart breaks for this little one. My mother couldn’t get 3 seats together on a flight, so decided I (age 11) should sit alone with a stranger while she enjoyed the company of her favorite child (age 21). The stranger spilled boiling hot coffee on me and said nothing except to demand a refill from the attendant. I am 70 now and this memory still hurts. I can’t imagine how this little girl felt, riding all alone in the BAGGAGE CAR! I can only hope she had a kind attendant like the one who put cold water on my burned leg and helped me feel better.

STOCK MARKET: Trump’s tariffs are causing a temporary dip in the stock market. If tariffs are so bad, why aren’t they upset about all these nations that impose them on our products? In other news, Trump’s plan is already working as intended. Israel, India, the EU, Japan, Vietnam, and Cambodia all plan to drop tariffs if Trump agrees to do the same.

Hers was in a grove of trees, taking longer than usual; since we didn’t hear any jingling, we figured he was squatting over a difficult poo. Then we caught sight of him moving through a shaft of street light. He was tiptoeing so wouldn’t jingle. 🙂

This week at DOGE

DOGE: The savings live tracker is a very welcome change from the anxiety-inducing Debt Clock!

MARCH 28, 2025: Over the last 3 days, agencies terminated 121 wasteful contracts saving We The Taxpayers $156 million. These included a $1.6 Million DEI contract for “strategies for implementing ‘social emotional’ learning” and a $143,000 DOT contract for “social media support services.”

MARCH 31, 2025: A 2023 IG report (title page above) pointed out that nearly $5 Billion in COVID era funds remained unused. Nobody did anything about it. DOGE recently recovered $1.4 Billion and it to the Treasury general account. The team is moving urgently to get the rest.

MARCH 31, 2025: Today, agencies canceled 109 wasteful contracts, saving We the Taxpayers $420 million. One of these was a $2.7 Million Commerce Department contract for “marketing consulting services outreach and engagement support services.”

EPA: CLICK https://x.com/epaleezeldin/status/1906776086412767560 [2:10] to hear how much money the Biden administration wasted on one extraordinarily stupid project. CLICK the Wikipedia link below to read about the man the museum lionized.

USIP: Each year, the United States Institute of Peace (USIP) receives $55 Million in congressional (taxpayer) funds. According to DOGE, they would sweep millions of this money into a private endowment over which there was no congressional oversight). Trump vowed to dismantle the agency and sent DOGE in. A private accountant to whom USIP had paid $2,232,500 attempted to delete over 1 Terabyte of accounting data after DOGE entered the building. DOGE has recovered the data which allowed them to learn how much waste and fraud they wanted to hide. Among these was $13 Million spent on private events and travel.

SOCIAL SECURITY: DOGE has been cleaning out the data base. The graphic shows the people over 120 years who had been correctly marked as deceased as of March 31. Two million more to go.

APRIL 2, 2025: Today, agencies terminated 80 wasteful contracts, saving We the Taxpayers another $139.1 Million. One of these was $2.1 Million State Department management consulting contract for a “senior advisor” in the Democratic Republic of Congo.

VETERAN AFFAIRS: Until recently, the VA was paying ~$380,000/month for minor website modifications. That contract has not been renewed and the same work is now being performed by one internal VA software engineer who needs about ten hours per week to keep the website up-to-date.

APRIL 2, 2025: Today, agencies cancelled 47 wasteful contracts, saving We the Taxpayers another $30.2 million. One of these was a $3.4 million State Department management consulting contract for “aviation advisors” in Kenya.

LABOR DEPARTMENT: On April 3, Acting Secretary Sonderling announced the cancellation of wasteful DEI contracts that will save We the Taxpayers $15 million. Among these were:

  1. $6.7 Million for the California State Library to “enhance equitable library programs”;
  2. $1.5 Million for the Connecticut State Library system to “integrate social justice, diversity, equity, and inclusion” into their daily work;
  3. $400,000 for the University of Tennessee to study “LGBTQ+ library users’ metadata”;
  4. $265,000 for Queens College in New York to research “why BIPOC teens” read Japanese comic books;
  5. $250, 000 to erect “LGBTQ+ historical markers” across Ohio;
  6. $140,000 for the University of South Carolina to create “safe spaces for LGBTQIA+ individuals” in libraries; and,
  7. $105,000 to California Association of Museums to address “systemic racism” in museums.

APRIL 4, 2025: The DOGE IT team just saved We the Taxpayers $1 million per year by converting 14,000 magnetic tapes (70 yr old technology for information storage) to permanent, modern digital records.

Tariffs

Trump’s tariffs are causing a temporary dip in the stock market. If tariffs are so bad, why aren’t they upset about all these nations that impose them on our products? In other news, Trump’s plan is already working as intended. Israel, India, the EU, Japan, Vietnam, and Cambodia all plan to drop tariffs if Trump agrees to do the same.

Liz Wheeler posted the following on X –

Maybe just maybe you’ve been propagandized about tariffs by the same uniparty elitists who imposed deadly open borders on you.

If your reaction to tariffs is “oh no, it’s basically a tax, stuff is gonna get more expensive” — then buckle up.

Here’s the truth about tariffs.

At the onset of “global free trade” we were told three things:

  1. Trading with China, NAFTA, & globalization would promote “democracy” around the world.
  2. Products would be cheaper.
  3. Life would be better.

Well, the first thing sure didn’t happen. The communist Chinese are as despotically authoritarian & inhumane as ever. And look at the EU crackdown on speech, or our own govt weaponized against us—sheesh.

Products did get cheaper—what at what cost?

We were promised that our qualify of life would be improved by cheap products— but did it? Nope. The opposite happened.

In fact, millions of Americans lost their jobs. To be specific, between 2000 and 2017, 5.5 million American manufacturing jobs left the country.

That means millions of Americans—mostly men—were suddenly out of work.

And what happened? What happens when the jobs are gone? When men want to provide for their families but can’t? When men lose the dignity of work?

As we soon found out, many of these men turned to drugs—drugs that are readily available in this country thanks to the “free trade” politicians who deliberately left our borders open & then turned a blind eye to the trafficking of deadly fentanyl across our border from the very countries—China, Mexico, Canada—we were supposed to benefit from trading with.

Between 1999 and 2021, more than 640,000 Americans died from an opioid overdose.

Why?

Because entire communities — places like where Vice President JD Vance is from — were hollowed out as their manufacturing jobs were shipped overseas. And then the same countries who stole our jobs sent fentanyl across our borders to kill us.

Tariffs not only stop impertinent countries from taking advantage of us—which is a big deal. Tariffs will stop the flow of fentanyl into our neighborhood—which is a moral imperative. If countries don’t stop sending drugs—they get slapped with crushing tariffs.

President Trump understands leverage and knows these tariffs will force such countries to crack down.

And let’s talk about cheap products. Is the trade—pun intended—worth it? Is a lead-poisoned purse from SHEIN for two bucks worth surrendering our supply chains to foreign nations that hate us? Do you want to rely on China for antibiotics? Do you think it’s smart to rely on Taiwan for semiconductors? Think of the empty shelves in grocery stores during Covid. Our supply chains are FRAGILE. It’s a national security threat to rely on foreign countries for things our families need. Tariffs help bring back manufacturing & reliance to our own country, our own states, our own communities.

Other countries will cave. They have to. They rely on the American economy too much to refuse Trump. And they can’t wait him out—he’s President for four years.

Trump is the perfect person to use tariffs as the means to an end—an actual better quality of life, security and prosperity for the American people that we were promised by the lying elitists that Trump is now reclaiming for you.

In summary, I love tariffs. Stop freaking out. This is gonna be awesome.

DAILY PRAYER: Dear Lord, Fill our hearts with a deeper love for Your Son’s sacrifice and greater joy in His victory over death. In His Holy Name, we pray. Amen.

CATHOLIC: The fourth Sunday in Lent is known as Laetare Sunday. It is a time for joy and reflection in anticipation of Easter. It gets its name from the first word of the traditional Latin entrance verse for the Mass of the day. “Rejoice with Jerusalem and be glad for her, all you who love her; rejoice greatly with her, all you who mourn over her.” – Isaiah 66:10.

WHO ARE THEY REALLY? Dr. Bastiat writes at Ricochet – “Conservatives tend to support freedom of speech, freedom of religion, freedom to buy whatever light bulbs make you happy, and so on. Leftism tends to be based more on centralized control systems, and is more comfortable with censorship and government involvement in things like light bulbs and gas stoves. Political violence is a feature of the left, presumably because you sometimes need violence to get someone to do something that they normally wouldn’t do. Conservatives don’t need violence to get people to do whatever they want.”

DAILY PRAYER: Dear Lord, Please bless us today with the graces we need to love the people who annoy us the most. In Jesus’ Name, we pray. Amen.

BORDER: According to an arrest report, the 14-year-old victim told police he was in the sauna on board a Royal Caribbean cruise liner when the two suspects began to pleasure themselves in front of him. They then touched him and forced him to touch them; one forced the kid to perform a sex act on him while the other molested him. Both perps are illegals with ICE detainers on them; one has HIV.

CONFIRMED: Dr. Jay Bhattacharya, who was an outspoken critic of measures implemented during the COVID-19 pandemic, was confirmed yesterday by a Senate vote of 53–47 to head the National Institutes of Health (NIH). One of the 13 agencies managed by HHS, the NIH is the largest supporter of biomedical research in the world. It funds around $50 billion in scientific research via grants to hundreds of thousands of researchers at academic institutions and hospitals.

COURTS: On March 18, Maryland-based U.S. District Judge Theodore Chuang ordered Trump to put the USAID back together. Yesterday, the Fourth Circuit Court of Appeals put a hold on the order. I’m no kind of legal beagle, but I think it’s ironic that Chuang claimed that Trump’s order to end USAID violated the constitutional doctrine of separation of powers. So far as I know, USAID is/was part of Trump’s branch, not Chuang’s.

In other news, a federal judge in Alaska ruled on Tuesday that Biden’s Department of the Interior (DOI) acted unlawfully when it canceled seven oil and gas leases issued by the Trump administration for the Arctic National Wildlife Refuge (ANWR).

ELECTION INTEGRITY: Yesterday, Trump signed an executive order directing federal officials to take steps to make sure illegal immigrants and other non-citizens do not vote in federal elections.

INCITING VIOLENCE: Who are the fascists? – CLICK https://x.com/RapidResponse47/status/1904201103836672416 [:26] to hear Democrat Representative Jasmine Crocket (TX-30) say, “I think that you punch. I think you punch. I think you okay with punching … Ted Cruz, I mean like this dude has to be knocked over the head hard, like hard.”

MEDIA BIAS: Not The Bee highlights numerous left v. right headlines on a different topic. It’s worth a look.

OOPS: “So dangerous. So incompetent.” Hmm … I’m trying to remember these guys having kittens about then-SecState Hillary’s personal server leaking classified information to the ChiComs. [12:32] – Jeffrey Goldberg, the editor-in-chief of The Atlantic was invited to join a Signal app group consisting of 18 members of the White House National Security Council, including Vice President JD Vance and Sec. of Defense Pete Hegseth.

PENNSYLVANIA: Two months ago, Allentown School Board member, LaTarsha Brown (42) reported finding a noose at her desk on the third floor of City Hall. After she refused to give a DNA sample, a court compelled her to submit and, oopsie, now she’s been charged with making false reports and tampering with or fabricating evidence.

Another fake hate crime perpetrated by a successful Black person? What is with their need to be seen as victims? It reminds me of a surgery scene I saw recently in an episode of “Good Doctor.” During a discussion of discrimination against women, Dr. Sean Murphy remarks, “I’m glad things are better now.” The surgeons, anesthetist, and nurses – all females immediately glare at him and the lead surgeon, who is also female (and Black) Chief of Surgery, says, “What are you talking about?” He says, “I’m the only man here.” Exactly. Take the win, people. It’s time to move on.

RHODE ISLAND: Providence Public School District (PPSD) has a program designed to forgive student loans for teachers of color. Trump’s DOJ is investigating if it constitutes racial discrimination against White teachers.

WE ARE NOT LIKE THEM: Maybe Elon Musk can buy Pfizer, so we can watch Democrats become anti-vaxxers.

DAILY PRAYER: I need this one today.

BEVERLY CLEARY: She looks exactly like I always imagined Ramona to be. 🙂

At six years old, little Beverly was put on academic probation after first grade. Her biggest problem was reading. The assigned books were all boring educational stories about polite children. It was thanks to a school librarian’s friendly encouragement that the girl finally liked to read.

After college, Beverly began working as a children’s librarian. She still found children’s books boring. Dick and Jane weren’t at all like lively, curious, funny, angry, or unruly like real kids. So Beverly Cleary became an author herself.

She wrote Ramona the Pest, Henry Huggins, Ribsy, The Mouse and the Motorcycle – more than 40 books in all. Her books won dozens of awards, sold more than 90 million copies, and are still beloved today. Not bad for the little girl who didn’t like to read. [Text from a Facebook post.]

BORDER: Housing and Urban Development (HUD) Secretary Scott Turner and Homeland Security (DHS) Secretary Kristi Noem have partnered their agencies to end taxpayer-funded public housing for illegals. U.S. veterans stand to benefit from the move.

COLORADO: The State of Colorado is removing the atrocious portrait of President Donald Trump that they hung in their State Capitol building. Like the artist (who is apparently quite capable of painting a beautiful portrait), the Democrats who control the state legislature showed their true colors when they sneered rather than apologized. “If the GOP wants to spend time and money on which portrait of Trump hangs in the Capitol, then that’s up to them.”

ELON MUSK: [7:58] – Loose lips are going to start sinking ships.

GRIFTERS: [1:55] – This makes me so angry. Dearest is an architect. He doesn’t get paid until he produces a satisfactory outcome for his client. These schmucks get rewarded with billion$ for not producing satisfactory outcomes for We The Taxpayers!

MILITARY: SecDef Hegseth has been working closely with DOGE and has rung up $800 million in cuts to wasteful spending. One of the biggies was a human resources software development program that was supposed to take one year and cost $36 million. It’s been going for eight years, has run $280 million over budget, yet it still doesn’t do what it was supposed to do!

S&G: Trump has canceled hundreds of thousand$ in contracts to provide education on “food justice for queer and transgender farmers” in San Francisco and New York. Dunno what that means exactly, though I’m thinking it’s likely code for “grift.”

SOCIALIZED MEDICINE: “Canada, where healthcare is free, but only if you can afford to wait.” – CLICK https://x.com/WallStreetApes/status/1903826064356655559 [1:09] to hear a Canadian’s horrifying story. CLICK https://x.com/jammles9/status/1903826908967538809 [3:43] to hear another young Canadian who had a biking accident in the U.S. and got an up close look at one of our ER rooms. CLICK https://x.com/siomoCTV/status/1879610897003675812 [:36] to see what Canadians were willing to do to get accepted by a primary physician.

Estimated wait times for an ER visit in Canada: 16 hours and 45 minutes. CLICK https://hospitalstats.org/ER-Wait-Time/ to see what the wait time is where you live. Mine is 3 hrs and 3 minutes. I went a while back with chest pain, saw a triage nurse quickly, and was rushed through for blood work. We did have to go back to the waiting room to await the test results, but a nurse fast tracked me through the finish up so we could get home asap. My heart is fine; my primary sent me to a gastro clinic where I found out I have a hiatal hernia, which can cause chest pain similar to heart attack.

SHEEPLE: I was thinking about how the Pharisees incited a mob to shout for Pontius Pilate to free Barabbas. It reminded me a lot of Democrats. A few know what they’re doing. The rest mindlessly follow wicked leaders.

SNOW WHITE: [17:12] – Comment on video – “So watched it with my 5 year old daughter and she was getting bored halfway. She asked the obvious question why is she called Snow White? I said bc her skin is White as Snow. She said but her skin isn’t white, she has a tan. Next day she wanted to watch the original and she was glued to it. She loved the animals and the songs. Was scared at the Scary parts and loved when the prince saves Snow White with a kiss. The original has a much better ending that actually makes sense to the target audience.”

TARIFFS: They work just like Trump said they would. Rolls Royce and Hyundai have announced plans to invest billion$ on building new car manufacturing plants inside the U.S.

GRAMMY NOTES: This.
