For the love of Pete I should not be up right now, but as I find myself to be, I decided that I might as well make myself useful and get this thread going. Insomnia, you are my constant companion.

Wow, it was our busiest day so far in the garden. We went from 100 views last Tuesday, the day we opened the garden, to 246 views yesterday. So with that in mind, I’d like to welcome any new visitors who dropped in yesterday. Please feel welcome to join in the conversation! We are a friendly bunch here, I promise we don’t bite!
What’s going on in your corner of the garden? I see that oil prices have shot up 8.5% in a day – shall we start off our day with a chant ? How about the ol’ reliable, and oh so expected from us enviro-haters, Drill, Baby, Drill?

As the saying goes… “Imitation is the sincerest form of flattery.” Ah, well… we have created such a cozy, appealing atmosphere here at PoliNation, that we have begun to attract our own “bouquet” of imitators, with cutesy little headings, and all. In the very near future, I anticipate the blog world will be filled with peaceful, nature-themed, banner-as-background type conservative political blogs in, well, no time at all! (We’ve only been around for a week, after all, and look at what trend setters we are.)
While my first reaction was one of sheer indignation, upon pausing to reflect in our quiet garden surroundings, I now realize how much more relaxing and enjoyable life will be with all the beautiful plants and flowers to look at. Not to mention the babies! I can only hope that the others are able to find one as cute as Baby Buzz to have as their mascots…
But enough about my hopes, dreams and vision for the future.
