The rest of the story

MEDIA do your own research

From Matt Walsh:

Yet another controversy over a “racist” cop allegedly “assaulting” a black teenager. A video went viral last night showing a white police officer take down a black high school student, drag her across the floor, and cuff her. Naturally, the cop is now being investigated for civil rights violations. …

If you’re in the sane minority that doesn’t immediately assume all cops are bad and all black suspects are good — then the rest of the story is relevant.

According to reports from the school and witnesses, the girl was using her phone in class. The teacher told her to hand it over, she refused. Teacher told her to go to the office, she refused. Administrator came and told her to go to the office, she refused. School resource officer was summonsed. He told her to get up and come with him, she refused. She was asked again, and again, and she refused, and refused. Finally, after one last warning, she was dragged out of her chair and physically extracted from the building.

Here’s the thing: no matter if you think the cop was “too rough,” the point is that this girl could have avoided all of this SIMPLY BY OBEYING THE RULES AND HAVING SOME BASIC RESPECT FOR AUTHORITY. Sorry for yelling. I’m just tired of this “Oh no, black kids are being attacked by cops, what ever will we do about it?” thing. Here’s what you do about it: teach your kids to be decent, respectful human beings, for God’s sake. This isn’t hard, everyone. It really isn’t.

The real racists

The Left would go ballistic if anyone used this kind of language about a Democrat who happened to be black.

I read Chauncey DeVega’s tweets for the past three or four days. Lots of profanity and hatred.  Plus, somehow the righteous indignation of right-wingers over his filth-ridden, racist remarks somehow proves he’s right that we’re all “sewer dwellers” and “urinal cake eating” RAAAAAAAAAAAAAACISTS.

Here is another example of what passes for insightful political commentary at Salon.

Democrats are all about diversity … just ask them!

The Democrat 2016 presidential candidates are all white, with one female.

When Debbie Wasserman-Schultz was asked about this, she said, “We are the party of diversity. The Republicans are essentially the party of a monolithic view that is narrow-minded.”

The GOP 2016 presidential candidates include a black man (Ben Carson); a woman (Carly Fiorina); an Hispanic (Ted Cruz); a Cuban American (Marco Rubio); and an Indian-American (Bobby Jindal).

The racism that wasn’t racism and the clock that wasn’t a bomb … or a clock

Yesterday and today, I came across some really excellent stuff that I think shows pretty clearly that, while Ahmed Mohammed did not make a bomb, he also did not make a clock.

The object in question was merely the guts of a 1980’s vintage Radio Shack digital alarm clock that had been pulled out of its case and stuffed into a suspicious looking container.

Listen closely to the video below. I am no fan of Bill Maher, but on this, ITA with him. I even agreed with Chris Matthews!

Maher’s panelists include Jorge Ramos, Chris Matthews, Mark Cuban and former Gov. George Pataki. The only one to keep mouthing the “racism” and “Islamophobia” line was Ramos, who you might remember was the jerk who bullied his way into a Trump presser to yammer about immigration. It’s one of those “Liberal Logic 101” things that Ramos himself sees nothing but skin color. Project much, Jorge?

Real Time with Bill Maher – Ahmed’s Clock Block (HBO)

I was particularly interested in what Mark Cuban had to say, which was that the boy was excited and engaged when they spoke about science, but that when the topic was his alleged clock project, the boy was either mum or being coached by a relative.

This kid is a science geek.

If he had actually made a clock from scratch or even assembled one from a kit, he would’ve been excited about it and been running off at the mouth to his teachers and anyone else who would listen.

His silence speaks volumes.

Personally, I think this young man was used as a pawn by his father, who Mark Steyn describes as “a belligerent Muslim activist and perennial Sudanese presidential candidate whose brother runs a trucking company amusingly called Twin Towers Transportation.”

I think the father or someone else jury rigged the device and made the boy take it to school, instructing him to show it around until someone got upset enough to make a stink that the Muslim community could use to further their cause.

Specifically, they want people self-censoring for fear of appearing racist so that their terrorist operatives can move about, recruit and bomb as freely as possible.

Irvine, Texas, is only 25 miles from Garland, Texas, where the Mohammed Drawing Contest was attacked by two armed ISIS sympathizers. Of course the school was cautious. But you know what … they were not freaking out! They gave the kid many opportunities to talk about his alleged project. He wouldn’t. So yeah … they called the cops.

Remember Columbine?

  • Remember how many people criticized the school for NOT recognizing the signs?
  • Is humiliating a boy who refuses to talk to you about his suspicious little box of wires not worth it when the potential down side is a row of coffins filled with broken bodies?

DNC: Yes, we do prefer thugs

Remember when a whole lot of white people voted for Obama, because he was going to finally heal all the nation’s racial discord? ::snort:: HEALING racial discord is the opposite of what the Democrats are all about.

On August 28, 2015, the Democratic National Committee passed a resolution endorsing the “Black Lives Matter” movement. The DNC has not chosen to endorse “Blue Lives Matter.”

Obama has definitely been on board with the “Black Lives Matter” move to demonize cops while pandering to violent blacks, from his “The police acted stupidly” remark in 2009, to “If I had a son, he’d look like Trayvon” in 2012, to his decisions to send White House delegations to the funerals of Michael Brown (2014) and Freddie Gray (2015).

Obama did not send White House representatives to the funerals of Nicholas Oresko, Lech Kaczynski, or James Foley.  Oh, you don’t know who those people are?  Hmm … I bet you know who Trayvon Martin, Michael Brown, and Freddie Gray are, though, don’t you.

So far this year, 23 police officers have been killed by gunfire and three of these were specifically targeted because they were officers. In 2014, nine officers were ambushed and killed. Chuck Canterbury, national president of the Fraternal Order of Police, said, “In the last few years, ambush attacks aimed to kill or injure law enforcement officers have risen dramatically.”

Hmmm … lemme think how much the top Democrat’s “I love thugs” message is behind those statistics. ::coughcough::

Below is the account of the latest fatal “BlackLivesMatter” shooting from the court record:

Police first received a call at 8:20 p.m. Friday. When authorities arrived at the gas station in the Houston suburb of Cypress, they found Deputy Darren Goforth, a 10-year-veteran of the force, face-down. He was already dead, [Anderson] said.

Surveillance video from the gas station shows that Goforth, 47, had just come out of a convenience store after he had pumped gas and that Miles got out of his red truck, she said. “He runs up behind Deputy Goforth and puts the gun to the back of his head and shoots.

Deputy Goforth hits the ground and then he continues to unload his gun, shooting repeatedly into the back of Deputy Goforth,” Anderson said. Goforth was shot 15 times and a witness saw the shooting, Anderson said. She added that the shell casings match the .40-caliber Smith and Wesson handgun found at Miles’ home.

Harris County Sheriff Ron Hickman said Saturday that the attack was “clearly unprovoked,” and there is no evidence that Goforth knew Miles. “Our assumption is that he (Goforth) was a target because he wore a uniform,” the sheriff said.

In an unusual show of class (or more likely because of public pressure to stop being such an ass), President Obama actually made a condolence call to the widow of slain Deputy Darren Goforth.

Promoting sin

Progs promoting sin

August 26, 2015: David French at National Review writes:

The evidence is now overwhelming that this (latest) shooting was in large part about race. The shooter wanted vengeance for Charleston, he wanted a “race war,” and he was known for angry, unfounded accusations of racial persecution:

’Why did I do it? I put down a deposit for a gun on 6/19/15. The Church shooting in Charleston happened on 6/17/15…’

’What sent me over the top was the church shooting. And my hollow point bullets have the victims’ initials on them.’

’As for Dylann Roof? You [redacted]! You want a race war [redacted]? BRING IT THEN YOU WHITE …[redacted]!!!” . . . He goes on to say that he has faced both racial and sexual discrimination as a black, gay man and that he was just waiting to explode.

’Yes, it will sound like I am angry…I am. And I have every right to be. But when I leave this Earth, the only emotion I want to feel is peace…’

’The church shooting was the tipping point…but my anger has been building steadily…I’ve been a human powder keg for a while…just waiting to go BOOM!!!!’

So, how does the President of the United States respond? It’s the guns of course, and the guns are worse than terrorists. No, I’m not making this up: His quote:

“It breaks my heart every time you read about or hear about these kinds of incidents,” Obama said. “What we know, is that the number of people who die from gun-related incidents around this country dwarfs any deaths that happen through terrorism.”

So now we’re using domestic racial violence to not just bolster the case for gun control but also to diminish the threat of international terrorism? This statement is almost beyond belief — even for Obama.

Look for the shooting to trigger another round of gun control proposals, none of which would have stopped this crime.

As for terrorism? The hundreds of thousands of victims of jihadist violence since 2009 could not be reached for comment. Nor could the recently-gassed Kurds. Nor could the young Yazidi sex slaves. Nor could Iranian nuclear scientists. They’re too busy trying to engineer the apocalypse.
