Donald Trump accuses Ted Cruz of voter fraud, demands ‘new election’ in Iowa
HE ALSO SAYS HE ‘SUE HIS ASS OFF’ OVER CITIZENSHIP
Two days after finishing second to Ted Cruz in the Iowa caucuses, Donald Trump is accusing the Texas senator of fraud and demanding that either a “new election” take place in the Hawkeye State or that its results be “nullified.”
“Ted Cruz didn’t win Iowa, he stole it,” Trump tweeted on Wednesday. “That is why all of the polls were so wrong and why he got far more votes than anticipated. Bad!”
GOP Exits: Spoiler Alert–Trump Didn’t Convince Conservatives
One of the interesting aspects of this poll is the very conservative and conservative blocks breaking for Cruz and Rubio. One could make a judgment that this sets up what some have been calling for when 2016 really gets going: a Cruz/Rubio fight for the nomination.
The way I see it, Trump’s problem is that conservatives, on the whole, are more educated, affluent and base their judgement on rational thought, as opposed to democrats who deal strictly on raw emotion and play on the abject ignorance of their base. It’s fun watching Trump piss a lot of people off, because he has enough money to get away with it. I don’t doubt for a minute if he were elected he would return to his liberal roots. http://townhall.com/tipsheet/mattvespa/2016/02/02/gop-exits-spoiler-alerttrump-didnt-convince-conservatives-n2113880
Since nobody’s around on the weekend anyway. There was a pathetic display of how gullible the MSM thinks the people are last Tuesday when the democrats held what they laughingly referred to as a “townhall” where the questions were pre-written, the actors were given the script, and the ‘questioners’ were shills, chosen to ask candidates questions they were prepared to answer. No surprises allowed.
Thursday it was the Trump vs. the anti-Trump Show. Fox drew 12 million viewers, the ratings were second only to the initial debate that shattered all records for a cable news show. I didn’t post anything because there were as many opinions about the whole mess as there are blades of grass on a Kansas prairie. That analogy is the result of my watching a 1958 episode of Wagon Train at the time of writing this.
I’m a little weary of reading about how Hillary is in serious trouble, about to be indicted, much hand wringing over can she survive? Darrel Issa has said he wants to charge both Cankles and Hummus Weiner with felonies. Let me state for the umpteenth time, NOTHING WILL HAPPEN TO HER. We know it,she knows it. The FBI can present a mountain of damning evidence and if the super-corrupt Obama DOJ refuses to convene a grand jury it will all come to nothing. I have had maybe two cocktails in the last 25 years but if the bitch DID get indicted I would consider getting falling down drunk. I’m posting a video in the comments about how her Heinous said she’d consider appointing Dear Reader to the Supreme Court. Maybe that’s the price he’s demanding to cover her cellulite-covered backside.
Democrats cover for each other. It’s how they survive. You never see any of them break ranks if it really counts. That’s the rules they play by and that’s how they survive when they should all be in a penitentiary. They also have a good number of alleged republicans at their beck and call. You know the names.
My wife’s 96 year old dad is not doing well after he had a broken hip replaced, my grandson is fighting a battle no seven year old should have to, and after one successful cataract surgery I’m having the other eye done in two weeks. There are things far more important in life than politics.
A consortium of some 20 republican bigwigs(haven’t used THAT one in awhile) came out today opposing the fiery, populist media machine known as Donald Trump.
Hillary should be stewing in her own juices, but instead the MSM is making hay from the civil war going on between the two factions of the republican party.
Republican Party Insiders Pen Manifesto Against Front-Runner Donald Trump
Conservative authors are banding together to publish a manifesto Friday denouncing the ideas of Republican presidential front-runner Donald Trump.
Leading conservatives including Erick Erickson, William Kristol and Yuval Levin have written essays for a special issue of National Review to be published Friday, The New York Times reports.
Donald Trump is a menace to American conservatism who would take the work of generations and trample it underfoot on behalf of a populism as heedless and crude as The Donald himself,” reads an editorial accompanying the essays in the issue, according to the newspaper.
The issue will include essays from 22 prominent conservative voices, according to CNN http://www.thegatewaypundit.com/oh-gross-republican-insiders-pen-manifesto-against-trump/
RNC cuts debate ties with conservative magazine over anti-Trump issue
We expected this was coming,” National Review publisher Jack Fowler wrote in a blog post early Friday, calling the RNC move a “small price to pay for speaking the truth about The Donald.”
FROM REDSTATE
I Concur with National Review and Principled Conservatives
While neither piece is going to be very persuasive to the crowd of Trump bandwagoners both among the populace and the media, they are nonetheless a line in the sand regarding unprincipled Republicanism and Conservatism. It is a line where many of us on the Right will make our stand, not because we are part of some great Establishment or RINOs, but because we believe in what we stand for http://www.redstate.com/2016/01/22/concur-national-review-principled-conservatives/
Heilemann, Wallace Rip National Review’s ‘Against Trump’: Helps Trump, Stupid
“Against Trump” came in for a barrage of criticism on today’s Morning Joe. John Heilemann called it an “in-kind contribution” to Trump, by depicting him in precisely the way he prefers: as pitted against the Establishment. And Nicolle Wallace said it was a “stupid move and a stupid piece” that risks splitting the conservative media from the conservative base. http://www.newsbusters.org/blogs/nb/mark-finkelstein/2016/01/22/heilemann-wallace-rip-national-reviews-against-trump-helps#sthash.J1hHqeWb.dpuf.
‘My Voice Will Be Heard!’ ‘Livid’ Trump Supporter Goes Off on GOP, National Review in Viral Video Rant
A woman in southern California who supports Trump posted a video overnight that has captured the mood of many Trump supporters fed up with being lectured and condescended to about what it means to be “conservative.”
Nelson says in the beginning of the video:
“…I am one of the noisy majority and I am one of the people that is voting for Donald Trump. And guess what GOP, and guess what Tea Party, I am a conservative.
In full disclosure, your intrepid reporter made an exception to his self-imposed boycott of news broadcasts to watch the debates last night. I have every cable channel and the moderators at FBN, unlike their counterparts at CNN, are far smarter than the chairs they’re sitting on. Trish Regan and Sandra Smith may have done a better job than Cavuto and Bartiromo.
I decided to post this because there wasn’t much noteworthy compared to the main event.
I know most of you probably didn’t see it, but I thought I’d give you some quick thoughts on the Undercard Debate.
First of all, I wish like hell Fox Business did all the debates. These moderators are awesome.
Both Trish Regan and Sandra Smith were moderators for the previous Fox Business Undercard Debate, and honestly, I think they’ve proven they should be moderating the main event. Smart questions, not the typical crapola one gets from say CNN or CBS or those numb-nuts at CNBC. Just great questions — intelligent, thought-provoking. These ladies are terrific.
Actually, the debate was over in two minutes, when Carly Fiorina came up with this zinger: “Unlike Hillary, I Like Spending Time With My Husband”
SOME PEOPLE HAVE THE TALENT TO SMILE SWEETLY WHILE TURNING THEIR WORDS INTO RAZORS
The giant sucking sound you may have heard was the collective gasps from the left at the insolence of this WOMAN to the queen-in-waiting.
I know I’m not supposed to post YouTubes longer than two minutes, but at least this clip has all three speaking, since Rand Paul had a hissy fit and skipped the show.
This runs 12 minutes
Ima post a couple things in case I run out of steam before I do anything with the main event.
Republican Party Uses State of the Union Response to Attack Donald Trump
The opposition response to the president’s State of the Union is ordinarily meant to rebut what the president says. Not this time. They chose instead to attack the current front-runner for the nomination of their party because of his apparent dislike of the illegal vermin invading our borders to crush our economy by lapping up benefits that should go to Americans.
Meet Governor Nikki Haley of South Carolina. The daughter of Sikhs and a rising star amongst the GOP elite.
Rising star Nikki Haley says she is open to becoming GOP running mate
South Carolina Gov. Nikki Haley says she would consider being the vice presidential candidate for the Republican Party this year.
The rising political star revealed that she is open to the possibility in an appearance on NBC News’ “Today” show Wednesday, a day after delivering the GOP response to President Obama’s final State of the Union address.
Republican presidential candidate and former Florida Gov. Jeb Bush praised Haley’s speech as providing a clear vision for a better tomorrow.
RUSH HAD A SLIGHTLY DIFFERENT TAKE THAN THE MEDIA WHORES
What the Nikki Haley Speech Means
A little bit questionable, but on balance I haven’t had a whole lot of problems with her. But, boy, last night her response? I think it’s proof and it’s an example of so much. For one thing, it’s almost absolute proof of what I have been saying for last couple years now, that the Republican Party’s trying to drive conservatives out of the party. But I think it’s more than that. It’s certainly that, but her speech last night sort of expanded the theme of who is and who isn’t qualified to be a Republican, and the Republican Party is still anti-conservative
FRANK LUNTZ IS A WALKING BALL OF PHLEGM. THIS IS HIS STUPID FOCUS GROUP AFTER THE SOTU.
IT’S FOUR MINUTES, BUT THE MONEY SHOT IS AT THE 1:57 MARK WHEN NEARLY EVERYBODY IN HIS HAND-PICKED PACK OF STOOGES BLAMES THE REPUBLICANS FOR NOT KISSING OBAMA’S ASS AND ACCEPTING ALL THE BLAME.
“New House Speaker Paul Ryan quickly passed a budget bill (with more Democrats than Republicans voting for it) which essentially gave Barack Obama and his cronies everything they could possibly want with no fight whatsoever.
“Cash for Planned Parenthood butchery? Full funding for the resettling of immigrants and refugees in the nation’s vulnerable heartland? Taxpayer dollars to combat alleged climate change? All this and much, much, MUCH more was rubber stamped “to keep the government open,” making a complete mockery of the hard fought elections which finally gave the House and Senate to Republicans under the mistaken impression that it might make a difference.
“And we conservatives can scream, complain, and debate amongst ourselves all we want, but to what end? Everything we stand against is already funded through next year.” – Stilton Jarlsburg at Hope n’ Change
Arizona Democratic State Senator Carlyle Begay is leaving the Democratic Party and becoming a Republican. Senator Begay is a Navajo Indian and represents an area of Arizona which encompasses the Navajo and Hopi reservations.
Begay told the Arizona Republican, “the Republican Party better reflects the values of self-determination and self-empowerment that he holds and wants to emphasize to his district.”
In the first two videos below, note Obama’s flat, almost bored, affect when he talks about the Paris terror attacks and about his military strategy for ISIS. Compare this to his heightened, energized affect in the places where he talks about his political opponents at home. I think it says a lot about his humanity … or lack thereof.
In the third video, the FOX News panel reports on Obama’s lack of passion, clarity and honesty. Jesse Watters says, “I’m actually surprised. Obama usually golfs and flies to fundraisers after terrorist attacks. This time I think he released five guys from Gitmo and then showed up late for a moment of silence for the victims.”
In the fourth video, President Obama addresses the concerns of those who note that terrorists are undeniably infiltrating other nations by posing as refugees. But rather than honestly speak to these concerns, he ridicules them.
He has a bad habit of attacking straw men (e.g., Republicans are afraid of 3-year olds), rather than honestly and respectfully dealing with facts and people he dislikes. It’s offensive.
He never uses the “M” word when talking about extremist Muslims, lest some peaceful Muslims be tarred by association.
Yet when it comes to Republicans, Pro-Lifers, Tea Partiers, etc., he is blatantly dishonest about what we believe and why we disagree with him.
In the fifth video, Ted Cruz calls him out on it.
