ASSASSIN: Tyler Robinson’s family says he had criticized Charlie Kirk, saying he was “full of hate and spreading hate.” The only people saying such things were and are left-wing liberals. Charlie himself was full of God’s love and sought every day to spread that love wherever he went.

SEARCH AND RESCUE: [2:18] – These rats are trained to find victims trapped in collapsed buildings, providing not only their locations, but also video and radio communication with any victims they locate.

SCIENCE: Dr. Marcus Zervos, an infectious disease specialist at the Henry Ford Health in Michigan, and colleagues studied 18,468 children born between 2000 and 2016 who were enrolled in the health system’s insurance plan. Drawing data from medical, clinical, payer records and Michigan’s immunization registry, the researchers found that, after 10 years, 57% of vaccinated children had developed a chronic health condition compared to just 17% of unvaccinated children. The most common chronic health conditions included asthma, atopic disease, eczema, autoimmune disease and neurodevelopmental disorders.

There will be a reckoning

“I am told that as a state representative this is the moment where I’m supposed to express my heartfelt condolences and then stand in solidarity with those on the other side of the aisle as we condemn political violence and stand unified as one people.

“But we aren’t ‘one people’ are we?

“The truth is we haven’t been for some time now, and there is really no point in pretending anymore, if there ever was.

“We are two very different peoples. We may occupy the same piece of geography, but that is where the similarities seem to abruptly end.

“I convinced myself for a long time that whenever the left called me a racist, a bigot, a sexist, a fascist, a ‘threat to democracy’ for even the most innocent of disagreements, that it was simply hyperbolic rhetoric done for effect.

“And now the ‘effect’ is a widow and two orphaned children, because the left couldn’t bear the thought of a peaceful man debating them and winning.

“I don’t think they realize it yet, but murdering Charlie is going to be remembered as the day where we finally woke up to what this fight really is.

“It’s not a civil dispute among fellow countrymen. It’s a war between diametrically opposed worldviews which cannot peacefully coexist with one another. One side will win, and one side will lose.

“Charlie tried to win that fight through argumentation, through discussion, through peaceful resolution of differences.

“And the other side murdered him.

“Social media is aflame right now with leftist celebration of Charlie’s death.

“I wonder if any among them understand what has just happened. If there is a Yamamoto somewhere in their midst warning, that all they have done is awoken a sleeping giant.

“I doubt it. I think they gave up such introspection and self-awareness long ago.

“I don’t know exactly what will happen next. I just know that it won’t be the same as what has happened in the past.

“There will be thoughts and prayers … Charlie would have wanted prayers. Not for himself but for those left behind and for the country that he loved.

“My Christian faith requires me to love my enemies and pray for those who curse me. It does not require me to stand idly by in the midst of savagery and barbarism … quite the opposite. BORDER: Over the weekend, Immigration and Customs Enforcement (ICE) agents arrested California resident and illegal alien Miguel Barrera-Corona of Mexico, who has been arrested 49 times in the past and convicted of assault with a deadly weapon, burglary, vehicle theft, criminal threats to terrorize, and drunk driving.

The firearm and ammunition have been taken by the FBI for DNA analysis and fingerprint impressions.

[18:03] – On Monday, the Supreme Court blocked a federal judge’s ruling that restricted federal officers’ ability to conduct immigration stops in the Los Angeles area. Watching Mika’s snotty expression and hearing her absurd gotcha question reminds me of Roger Stone and Mark Houck, who woke up to find their houses surrounded by armed federal agents. Stone’s deaf wife was awakened with a gun in her face. Houck’s children had to watch their dad being hauled away in handcuffs. Neither of these men were public safety threats.

The task force is charged with ensuring that “any unlawful and improper conduct, policies, or practices that target Christians are identified, terminated, and rectified.”

CDC: In late August, CDC Director Susan Monarez was fired after less than a month in her role, primarily due to conflicts with Health and Human Services Secretary Robert F. Kennedy Jr. over vaccine policy and her refusal to follow certain directives. Her firing prompted at least four senior officials to resign.

  1. Dr. Debra Houry advised the director on agency issues and priorities during the COVID-19 pandemic;
  2. Dr. Demetre Daskalakis served in leadership roles at the CDC from 2020 to 2025;
  3. Dr. Daniel Jernigan, who apparently isn’t important enough to have a Wikipedia page, explained on NPR that his reason for resigning was to “get the politics out of public health”; and
  4. Dr. Jennifer Layden, who left her job as incident manager for Chicago’s COVID-19 response to help lead the CDC’s national COVID-19 response. Shortly after her arrival, she co-led a vaccine task force that oversaw COVID-19 vaccine data and contributed to clinical guidance decisions.

CHRIS CHRISTIE: Former New Jersey Governor Chris Christie appeared on ABC News’ This Week, and opined that “Robert F. Kennedy Jr. is a foolish man, full of foolish and vapid ideas” who is “wholly unqualified” to oversee major public health decisions.

MEDIA: The Left Stream Media did not report on the murder of Iryna Zarutska, a female Caucasian refugee from Ukraine, by a violent Black criminal with a rap sheet a mile long. And when surveillance video revealed the attack was vicious and unprovoked from start to finish, the Left Stream Media still did not deem the story worthy of their time and attention.

What they are reporting on is how the stabbing video is fueling MAGA’s crime message. One paragraph from Axios story “Stabbing video fuels MAGA’s crime message” (link below) says, “Influential conservative social media accounts accused major national news outlets of not covering the racial dynamics of the Charlotte killing — a white victim and a Black suspect — with the same intensity as they did in the case of Daniel Penny.”

In case you have forgotten, Penny is a Caucasian military veteran who took down a violent Black man who was threatening passengers on a subway car. The “major national news outlets” went nuts, calling for the Evil White Supremacist to be drawn and quartered. But during his trial, the other passengers said Penny had saved their lives. Thankfully, the jury voted to acquit.

GRAMMY NOTES: The best advice I ever heard was, “Kids don’t need to know about sex until they’re starting to have those feelings.” The only sex education I gave my girls before that was to leave Right to Life literature laying around so they would have no doubt about the humanity of the unborn and pause at unmarried intimacy on t.v. to lecture “Keep your pants on until after the wedding.” I stopped doing that when they started to yell “We KNOW MOM!!” They are all now happily married and have given me 10 gorgeous grandkids to love on.

NORTH CAROLINA: The screenshot above is from a light rail surveillance video just moments before Decarlos Brown Jr. (34) abruptly stood up and stabbed Iryna Zarutska (23) to death. It happened so fast that nobody on the train noticed until they saw the blood that Brown’s knife dripped on the floor as he exited the train. That happened late on Friday, August 22, 2025, in Charlotte.

Brown is a Black man with a rap sheet; Zarutska is a blonde-and-blue Caucasian refugee from Ukraine. The national media ignored the crime until the Charlotte media released the video. Most of them are still ignoring the crime. Do I even need to mention the likelihood that they would be doing so if the man with the knife had been a Caucasian with a rap sheet and the woman had been an “undocumented migrant” of color?

PHILATELY: After World War II, Dearest’s Nonno and Nonna returned to the states from Italy. Several of their 8 daughters had already married Italian men and stayed. Their children and our children, who are second cousins, have visited here and there a number of times. One of them has agreed to purchase some of these stamps for mine and Mama Buzz’s stamp collections. :-)<3
