ACTBLUE: A month ago, ActBlue CEO Regina Wallace-Jones repeatedly invoking the Fifth Amendment during a House hearing. She refused to even verify her name! According to ActBlue’s records, Elizabeth has made 14,696 donations totaling more than $150,000 over the past five years. Elizabeth was forced to move into a shabby trailer two years ago after her house burned down. She owns an old pickup truck, but no computer. At the time of the interview, she did not have enough money to pay the lawn guy. Elizabeth says of the donations record, “I don’t have that kind of money.”

DEMOCRATS: The answers on this thread are fun. They include “(the sound of silence)”, “I’ll go make some popcorn while we wait”, “How about I just bring you a live unicorn?”

The only real answer given by a few was “Sen. John Fetterman.”

EDUCATION: In the mid-1970s, I dated a guy in college who became convinced one of his professors was only reading the first and last pages of his students’ exam “blue books.” So for one exam, my bf wrote a good intro and conclusion on these two pages, but filled the entire inside with a detailed description of a recent football game. He even included those X and O charts so beloved by football coaches, which, if the prof had even glanced at the insides, would’ve caught his attention. The prof gave him an A.

SAVE America Act: The “Safeguard American Voter Eligibility Act” calls for every voter proving he or she is an American citizen when registering to vote and producing proof of ID when voting. Despite its overwhelming popularity with voters, Democrats have been stonewalling its passage. The latest attempt to get it passed involved attaching it to the National Defense Authorization Act for 2026 (NDAA) which passed the House on July 22 on a 216-212 vote.

UK: Khadija Patel was recently awarded with the British Citizen Award in recognition of her work empowering young women.

GRAMMY NOTES: When one of my grandsons was four years old, he was watching a video that introduced him for the first time to the Passion. When the soldiers came into the garden to arrest Jesus, our precious boy grabbed his toy sword and ran at the television to protect his best friend. Later, he asked his mom and his dad why Jesus had been crucified and they both said, “Hmmm. We’ll ask Father after Mass on Sunday.” Father had the same reaction, but had nobody to pass the buck to! I don’t know what he said exactly, but I have often wondered … how do you explain this to a four-year-old?!

CATHOLIC: More than one thousand faithful Australian Catholics knelt and prayed the Rosary outside of a former Catholic church where a blasphemous LGBTQ-themed performance mocking Christian themes was taking place.

A Catholic group said in a statement, “The publicly accessible material included performers dressed as nuns, exorcism parodies, references to ‘unholy water’ and depictions involving Holy Communion.”

The founder of the offensively named “Divine Playhouse” announced they’ve been evicted from the building.

DEMOCRATIC SOCIALISTS OF AMERICA: Gary Varvel writes –

Remember when the old guard Democrats chanted “blue, no matter who”? Well, it looks like they’ll be wearing communist red instead. Their big tent has officially been overrun by card-carrying socialist snakes, and they are about to squeeze the life out of the geriatric donkeys.

Party centrists are discovering the hard way: if you feed the snake, eventually the snake feeds on you.

Look no further than Ethiopian-born politician Melat Kiros, who recently won her primary for Colorado’s 1st Congressional District. She bluntly proclaimed:

“There is a shift in the global world order that exists today. And a fundamental shift that we have to have going forward… That means getting more immigrants into office.”

Is that really what America needs?

Deuteronomy 17:15 issued a clear warning to Israel: “Do not place a foreigner over you.”

Furthermore, in Deuteronomy 28, God lists the severe consequences brought upon Israel for turning away from Him—including drought, disease, and pestilence.

Then verses 43–44 spell out the social turning point:

“The foreigners who reside among you will rise above you higher and higher, but you will sink lower and lower… They will be the head, but you will be the tail.”

With the recent onslaught of foreign-born candidates rising through the ranks, one has to wonder if America is experiencing a similar judgment.

The U.S. Constitution explicitly requires the President to be a natural-born citizen—a sensible requirement designed to safeguard our nation from leaders with divided loyalties. Why shouldn’t that same restriction apply to every high office governing our land?

MEDICAID: The federal government is pausing more than $1 billion in Medicaid payments to two fraud-ridden states – California and Minnesota – until they can prove that all of the payments are for legitimate health care services.

GODDESS POSE: Many yoga poses are worshipful offerings to demons. There is a school of thought called “Christian Yoga” that claims to use these poses as a way to meditate and grow in true faith. Personally, I’m on the side that says avoiding the poses is the safest way.

William Kelly did serve in the U.S. Army, but he did so as a paper pusher. Think “Radar” on M.A.S.H. Even if he had ever deployed to a war zone, which he didn’t, he would not have gone on combat missions with infantry soldiers who earned the right to wear that medal.

But William Kelly wasn’t even a good paper pusher. In 2008, he was court-martialed and found guilty of stealing. His rank was dropped to Private (E-1) and he was booted out of the Army with a Bad Conduct Discharge.

New Year’s Eve

MINNESOTA: In other news, Minnesota has taken voter fraud to new heights, having passed a law that allows a single registered voter bring up to 8 unregistered people to a voting station on Election Day. These 8 people need not provide any standard documents (like a driver’s license or utility bill) provided the single registered voter signs a paper vouching for them.

The one and only limitation is that someone who has become a registered voter by this vouching process may not turn around and vouch for others on that same day. Presumably, now being registered voters (who never produced a scrap of identification), those 8 could vouch for 64 new voters at the next election … and those 64 could vouch for 512 at the following election … and so on.

And just to add insult to injury, the original voter need not have been a citizen, since a Minnesota state law – signed by Gov. Tim Walz in 2023 – provides driver’s licenses regardless of immigration status. The law forbids the licenses carry any markings to indicate citizenship status and said driver’s licenses can be used to provide a name and an address for individuals to register to vote.

FAFO: On Monday, Hunter Biden admitted to engaging in conduct “involving dishonesty, fraud, deceit or misrepresentation” and consented to being disbarred in Connecticut. Last May, he was disbarred in D.C. for the same reasons.

FAKE NEWS: CJ Pearson posted the graphic above, but I added the ‘FAKE NEWS’. I said in his comment section, “CJ, I have followed you for a long time, but that ends today. I read every word of the linked story. Key point: ICE agents stopped her son. As soon as he produced his U.S. passport, they let him go. IOW, there was no nabbing, no showing up anywhere by Mommy Dearest, and no doing of anything ‘unthinkable.’ Bye, bye, CJ. My tolerance for fake news is ZERO, regardless of whose narrative it promotes.”

I’m not posting this here to pat myself on the back, but to let all y’all know that I want you to call me out if I fail to thoroughly vet a story. From Day #1, my goal as a blogger has been to uplift, entertain, and inform. If I get something wrong, I want to know about it, so I can fix it.

HISTORY: Families divided by MAGA will relate to this story. Benjamin Franklin’s only surviving son, William Franklin, was not merely a Loyalist; he was the royally appointed governor of New Jersey who believed deeply in the stability of the British Empire and saw the colonial rebellion as reckless and dangerous. When the Revolution erupted, he refused to abandon his oath to the Crown; arrested by Patriot forces and imprisoned for years, he was eventually released in a prisoner exchange and spent the rest of his life in Great Britain. He and his father never reconciled.

While Biden was in office, Mexico did not keep up their end of the bargain. So Trump threatened Mexico with higher tariffs. Problem solved.

When Mama Buzz was a wee one, she participated in a similar study, one aimed at discerning at what age and stage of language development kids understand the difference between the object and the subject in a sentence.

After answering questions about her language development, the researcher hooked her up to a device of some kind. While she sat on my lap, she watched a video showing made up characters with made up names perform a series of action that were described with simple sentences. E.g., puppet A gives something to puppet B.

The video played on a loop until the device showed my child had lost interest, at which point, the researcher brought the puppets into the room and asked her which puppet was which. Since the puppets were goofy looking and had made up names, she could only use the object and subject of each action she had seen to identify which puppet was which.

The main thing I remember (and still laugh about) is that my daughter beat every previous record for number of times she watched the video loop before losing interest. When I told the researcher, “Maybe that’s because we don’t have a television,” she looked thoughtful and suggested that might make an interesting thing to study.

Fourth Day of Advent
