DAILY PRAYER: Dear Lord, Please show us the glimmers today! In Jesus’ Name, we pray. Amen.

BALLROOM: Donald J. Trump is adding a ballroom to host large indoor functions. He is just one of the thirty-nine of our forty-six presidents who have made significant alterations to the White House. Others include:

  1. Thomas Jefferson, who added the South Portico;
  2. James Monroe, who added the North Portico;
  3. Andrew Jackson, who added the West Colonnade;
  4. Ulysses S. Grant, who put in central heating and indoor plumbing;
  5. Theodore Roosevelt, who added the West Wing;
  6. William Howard Taft, who expanded West Wing and added the first Presidential Oval Office;
  7. Herbert Hoover, who added a two-car garage under the East Wing;
  8. Franklin D. Roosevelt, who added the East Wing; and,
  9. Harry S. Truman, who gutted and rebuilt the interior and added the balcony over the South Portico.

N.b., Some commenters noted that the Clintons had to return $28,000 worth of items they took with them that had been donated to the permanent White House collection, not to them personally. The Clintons voluntarily returned the items, saying they had had believed them to have been personal gifts. Similar gift controversies have occurred with other administrations, like the Reagans and the Obamas, highlighting a problem with the White House staff generally being sloppy about keeping records of gifts.

More easily debunked baloney from the Left:

  • “Trump hates immigrants” (he is married to one);
  • “Trump hates women” (he has the first ever female Chief of Staff);
  • “Trump will start WW3” (he has stopped 8 wars in 9 months);
  • “Trump is a dictator” (people are free to protest him 24/7);
  • “Trump is an existential threat to democracy” (he won the electoral vote, the popular vote, and all swing states).

DAILY PRAYER: Dear Lord, Suit us up! In Jesus’ Name, we pray. Amen.

ALASKA: On Friday, Trump signed an order approving construction of a 211-mile industrial route that will open access to one of America’s richest mineral regions. Known as the Ambler Road Project, it is expected to generate billions in new revenue by unlocking copper, zinc, and rare-earth deposits in Alaska that are vital to both manufacturing and national defense. Trump blasted his predecessor for halting the plan in 2023, saying it “should have been long operating and making billions of dollars for our country.” Construction on the Ambler Road is scheduled to begin by next spring

CANCELED: During a No Kings protest in Chicago, an elementary school teacher named Lucy Martinez was captured mocking Charlie Kirk’s assassination. The video quickly went viral. Martinez is no longer employed at Nathan Hale Elementary School.

CHARLIE KIRK: CLICK https://www.youtube.com/shorts/3w5X-m7sBvs to hear Nick Freitas ask a very important question.

GAS: National average gas prices fall below $3 per gallon, the lowest since 2020. Meanwhile, eggs are 82% cheaper since Trump took office.

NO KINGS: Far-left activists take to the street claiming to “defend democracy” but can’t explain what they’re actually protesting. Meanwhile, real Americans are out working, paying taxes, and keeping the country running.

PHILATELY: [12:22] – Mama Buzz happened to see this right after it posted and got us each one of these stamps!! He only made 94 to sell and they went fast. I’m so excited to get mine!!

PORTLAND: On October 20, three-judge panel of the U.S. Court of Appeals for the Ninth Circuit voted 2–1 to allow Trump to deploy National Guard troops to deal with violence directed against federal immigration facilities in Portland, Oregon.

PRAYER for OUR NATION: Dear Lord, Protect our land from danger and let peace reign within our borders. In Jesus’ Name, we pray. Amen.

RIF: Isn’t it convenient that, just when thousands of nonessential government workers are getting pink slips, there is a sudden shortage of truck drivers?

SECRET SANTA: [6:15] – In 2020, the East Idaho News team helped a local man anonymously gift more than $500,000 to deserving individuals. This lady certainly qualifies. With all her problems, she’s out shoveling the neighbor’s driveway!

TEXAS: Texas officials have referred 2,724 individuals who have likely voted illegally to the attorney general’s office for further review and possible prosecution. The data came from a full comparison of Texas’s 18 million registered voters against federal citizenship records in the U.S. Citizenship and Immigration Services’ SAVE database.

WHITE HOUSE: [1:34] – Demolition has begun in preparation for construction of the new ballroom. Libs are hyperventilating. If it were a Democrat president doing this, they’d be calling it “historic” and “visionary.” I’m so tired of TDS.

GRAMMY NOTES: Yes.

EVERYDAY HEROES: “I was at Walmart tonight & I saw this man w/ a cart full of stuffed animals. When I asked him why, my heart became full. He told me that every year he dresses up as Santa & walks the halls of the children’s ER & delivers one to each child.”

FRANCE: Authorities say it took just seven minutes for thieves to climb that ladder, steal priceless jewels from the Louvre Museum, and flee on motor scooters. Last month, thieves broke into the National Museum of Natural History in Paris and made off with samples of raw gold worth about $700,000.

LEGO: MRIs, which don’t involve radiation, are often used in pediatric care – but with the bright light, loud noises and requirement to stay still, the machines often frighten children and introduce the need for sedation. Lego donates these custom MRI sets to hospitals around the world to help children know what to expect. The miniature MRI machine table moves back and forth, mimicking a real procedure. Healthcare professionals say that playing with the model helps to reduce anxiety and, in about half the cases, eliminate the need for sedation.

MIDTERMS: Polls are showing Democrats with the lowest positive rating in the history of polling. Meanwhile, Trump’s approval rating is holding steady.

SCIENCE: CLICK https://x.com/WallStreetApes/status/1979947902291390742 which a fellow passenger filmed in the economy section of a commercial flight where Trump officials, Robert Kennedy Jr. and Cheryl Hines, were on board.

UN: In 2024, the United Nations decided to give itself the power to tax the world. This past week, it tried to act on that with a “carbon tax” on all shipping vessels. President Trump announced that any nation that helped pass or tried to enforce this ridiculous global tax would find itself in a world of hurt. Within two days, all the “yes” votes went away.

GRAMMY NOTES: Whenever I express some concern about this issue, Mama Buzz reminds me, “It’s cheaper than therapy.”

JAMES: [7:40] – On October 9, 2025, a federal grand jury indicted Letitia James on bank fraud and false statements charges related to a Norfolk, Virginia property she purchased in August 2020. The indictment alleges James made different representations about the same property to different entities — all under penalty of perjury or with binding legal consequences.

  1. On August 17, 2020, James signed a Second Home Rider declaring, under penalty of perjury, that she and she alone would occupy the Norfolk, Virginia property.
  2. On her 2020 to 2024 IRS, she listed the Norfolk, Virginia property as “rental real estate“ with “zero personal use days” and reported income from rent, minus expenses.
  3. On her NY State disclosure forms, she called it “investment” property.
  4. In 2020, she applied for insurance on the Norfolk, Virginia property, declaring it “owner-occupied non-seasonal use.“

Meanwhile, Letitia James has been the New York Attorney General since January 1, 2019. The New York Attorney General is required to maintain residency within the state. If the officeholder removes his/her residence from the required territorial limits, the office becomes vacant.

BEAUTY BREAK: [3:18] – Nisha is an inspiration.

BOLTON: On October 16, John Bolton, who served as President Donald Trump’s national security adviser during the president’s first term, was indicted on 18 counts under the Espionage Act. Federal prosecutors allege that between April 9, 2018 and August 22, 2025, Bolton shared more than a thousand pages of information about his day-to-day activities as the National Security Advisor including information relating to the national defense which was classified up to the TOP SECRET/SCI level — with two unauthorized individuals.

SPIRITUAL WARFARE: The monastery where St. Carlo Acutis received his First Holy Communion in 1998 was almost completely destroyed by fire on October 11. Esemplastic and eclectic both relate to the idea of combining or synthesizing elements, but they differ significantly in their meaning and usage.

The key difference is that esemplastic refers to an imaginative or creative combining of diverse elements into a unified whole, whereas eclectic describe a mix-and-match approach that doesn’t necessarily produce a single whole.

A chef with an esemplastic approach might blend ingredients from different cuisines to create a novel, unified dish with a distinct flavor. E.g., Italian pizza with Hawaiian pineapple and Canadian bacon.

A chef with an eclectic approach might serve a menu with dishes from various cuisines side by side, each retaining its distinct style. E.g., Japanese sushi rolls with Mediterranean cucumber feta salad.

Democrats

Last fall, Oprah Winfrey said that, if Trump won, women could very well lose the right to vote.

CLICK https://www.youtube.com/shorts/4k5M8E_1uOk [:21] to hear it.

I asked Grok, “What would it take for women in the USA to lose the right to vote?” The extensive answer is below.

For women in the USA to lose the right to vote, a constitutional amendment would be required to repeal or modify the 19th Amendment, which grants women suffrage. This process is deliberately difficult and involves the following steps:

  1. Proposal: A constitutional amendment must be proposed either by a two-thirds vote in both the House of Representatives and the Senate or by a constitutional convention called by two-thirds of state legislatures (34 out of 50 states). The convention method has never been used.
  2. Ratification: The proposed amendment must then be ratified by three-fourths of the states (38 out of 50), either through state legislatures or state ratifying conventions, as specified by Congress.

Key Considerations:

  • Legal and Political Barriers: The 19th Amendment, ratified in 1920, is entrenched in U.S. law. Any attempt to repeal it would face significant opposition, as voting rights are a cornerstone of democratic principles. Courts, including the Supreme Court, would likely scrutinize any legislation or actions restricting voting rights under existing constitutional protections, such as the Equal Protection Clause of the 14th Amendment.
  • Practical Challenges: Public opinion strongly supports universal suffrage. Mobilizing the required supermajorities in Congress or among states to propose and ratify such a change would be nearly impossible given current political and cultural norms. Women make up roughly half the electorate, and their voting power would influence lawmakers against supporting such a measure.
  • Historical Precedent: No constitutional amendment granting rights has ever been repealed. The closest example is the 21st Amendment, which repealed Prohibition (18th Amendment), but that addressed a policy issue, not a fundamental right.

Hypothetical Scenarios:

  • Extreme Political Shift: A drastic change in political ideology, such as the rise of an authoritarian regime or a supermajority of lawmakers opposed to women’s suffrage, would be necessary. This would require a level of political upheaval unprecedented in modern U.S. history.
  • State-Level Restrictions: States could attempt to restrict voting access through laws (e.g., voter ID requirements, felony disenfranchisement, or gerrymandering), but these would not explicitly target women’s right to vote and would likely face legal challenges under federal law, including the Voting Rights Act of 1965.
  • Judicial Overreach: A Supreme Court ruling reinterpreting the 19th Amendment in a way that undermines its protections could theoretically occur, but this is highly unlikely given precedent and the amendment’s clear language.

Conclusion: Repealing women’s right to vote would require an extraordinary and improbable combination of legislative, judicial, and societal changes. It would face massive resistance, legal challenges, and public backlash, making it effectively unattainable under current conditions.
